The purpose of this study is to analyze teaching method of addition and subtraction of whole number in Korea and New Zealand lower grade textbook and to get some suggestive points to develop mathematics curriculum and for a qualitative improvement of textbook. To do this, we will analyze focusing on teaching material, type and method of teaching, cases of real teaching and in the case of New Zealand, we will analyze portfolios together to see what kind of things do they deal with related to addition and subtraction. From these analyzing, the results are as follows: First, the guideline of accomplishment of group of year are stated in 2009 revised curriculum in Korea but it is rough. On the other hand, the level of accomplishment from kindergarten to high school are stated divided by eight kinds of thing in New Zealand curriculum. Second, there were common and different points in the aspect of teaching material. The common points are that both of our Korea and New Zealand are using materials related to real life intimately and the diifferent points are to use technology such as calculator and computer. They are more widely used in New Zealand than our Korea. Third, Korea had used routine method mainly but New Zealand had used method to develop creativity of learner such as to write problem corresponding to expression, posing problem corresponding to information, to complete table and find pattern and to write word problem to explain pattern and so on. Fourth, we could see special calculation strategies in the case of teaching addition and subtraction such as concept of double, compensation, various strategy based on counting of number, addition of the same number, magic square, near-double which are not finding in our mathematics textbook. Fifth, in the New Zealand textbook they had used teaching methods inducing curiosity of learner such as finding message and puzzle problem than solving given problem simply.

The purpose of this study is to specifically investigate the factors that affect maintenance, relapse, and recovery after the abstinence of female drug addicts. For such purpose, ten females who repeated drug addiction and are currently in recovery were selected as the study participants to carry out in-depth interviews. The original materials were analyzed using descriptive phenomenological methods of Giorgi. The results of the analysis showed that most participants experienced discrimination and inhospitable treatment in their childhood. They began taking drugs as an escape from their difficult realities or out of curiosity and worked at adult entertainment establishments, living as a drug addict for a long time. Drugs gave them extreme sexual pleasure and it was difficult for them to recover as their body became dependent on drugs. However, as they experienced religious awakening or existential existence, they gained an opportunity for newly understanding themselves. Social support was an essential resource for their recovery. However, various kinds of trauma that they experienced in their lives acted as a factor to worsen drug addiction. Based on the study results, this study proposes spirituality, actual programs, and trauma treatment approaches that can contribute to the restructuring of life.
As recently too many local museums have been built in the whole country, most of them cannot attract enough spectators. In order to resolve this problem, it is needed for local museums to differentiate their spaces and programs related to their exhibition. Thus, the purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of spaces and programs of local museums from the perspective of spatial marketing to activate them, and contribute to development of local cultures. This study targeted historical public museums located in Seoul and Incheon. Through preceding research, an analysis frame was established based on the keywords related to spatial marketing, and then the characteristics of spaces and programs of local museums were analyzed based on the frame. The study results are as follows. 1) Access convenience refers to openness that public museums located in Seoul and Incheon can embrace accessible locations, points of interest, and convenient facilities easily recognized by pedestrians. 2) Symbolic formativeness is to express symbolic historical contents in the museum lobby or exhibition to show the identity of local museums. 3) Visibility is needed for direct guidance signs or spaces to let spectators know directions and locations. 4) Public concern is for spectators and local residents to participate in local museums to share and utilize their partial spaces. 5) Interactivity is to induce activation of local museums by utilizing experience exhibition contents and having spectators directly contact exhibits. 6) Interest is related to cultural festival programs of exhibition to arouse spectators' and local residents' curiosity. 7) Participation is to activate spaces and spectators by providing educational programs. 8) Usefulness is to induce spectators' interest in local museums by providing historical, social, and cultural information. These results are expected to be used as baseline data to suggest a new direction for activation of local museums from the perspective of spatial marketing.
People believe donations are done by others who have the leisure time and money to do so. In addition, people distrust charity organizations because they aren't sure if the money is used properly which makes them hesitant to donate. In order to gain general public's trust and involvement, people need to start campaigning about trusting and donating to organizations. Looking into many different successful charity case studies, we can find how these different cases are attracting people and building their trust. Therefore, I propose the proper and effective ways to campaign for charity organizations through analyzing different case studies. The result shows that a campaign is most effective when arising amusement and curiosity in the general public. Also trust gets built in the minds of the public once the charity organizations became more transparent.

This study aims to investigate the experiences of librarians/staff members who are responsible for facilitating makerspaces in public libraries, including their works and core competencies, their needs and experiences of training, and future plans in makerspaces. To do that, we carried out semi-structured interviews with 11 librarians/staff members and 1 library director from 7 public library makerspaces. Findings show that the participants received financial supports from the government agencies or/and relied on their library budget to run makerspaces. They identified competencies such as technology literacy, domain knowledge, teaching/programming, willingness to learn and curiosity, communication skills, leadership, and design-thinking. They have future plans for expanding spaces, purchasing equipments, program development, and so on. We believe findings could be useful for those who currently manage or plan to implement a public library makerspace by understanding practical issues and training needs in makerspaces.
