An enterprise is a basic unit to constitute national economy and a unit of independent production economy to pursue profit based on separation between ownership of production means and labor. Even though price and quantity of production are decided by planned economy in order to survive in the mechanism of market economy, quantity of production and of demands can't be same at all because of consumers' different preferences. An enterprise uses audio-visual media like letters, pictures, and voice in order to grasp consumers' taste, to develop products and to advertise them. Advertising is communication that a company, a non-profit organization or an individual, that is shown in the message of an ad, makes through several media. It is time that a company should appeal its image, not only its products, to consumers as a salesman. Marketing strategy of company identity is to visualize a company's intentions, to formalize its motto, slogan or culture, to build up trust of products and the company in consumers, and then, to have the consumers forever. By the virtue of development of www in 1990s, the media has been expanded to online. Development of www has united the world into a network and the market has been changed to unlimited competition. This paper intends to define the concept and characteristics of web identity and investigates and analyzes how web sites of sports shoes express their identities. In addition, it analyzes influences of multinational companies' web identifies (in Korean version) and of local companies' web identities on local consumers. Through survey, it will analyze the effects of web identity and review its operation.
Local festivals quite often give their visitors and local residents a good opportunity to experience the regional culture thoroughly. Also, the festivals empower the cultural pride and communal sociality, and create new jobs improving local economy. In Korea, more than 700 local festivals are held every year. Each festival is organized and operated upon all different purpose and mission. It is unfortunate, however, that many festivals fail to balance between making profits and accomplishing their purpose. Festival's marketing plan and content management should be cohesive, but at the same time, they also should be different depending on the festival's purpose and program. Especially in case of performance natured festivals, the role and function of festival directing should be more weighed on content management. Namhaean Byeolsingut is one of performance natured festivals, in which its archetype or primitive form is well maintained. This study observes the primitive form of NB from the director's viewpoint, and then provides a solid foundation on how those main characteristics of NB could be applied to invigorating local festival directing. The directing suggestions here are motivated by NB's ritual, performative, and play form.
With the expansion of EC and the development of culture industry, Web-site shopping of cultural products have become recognized as one of the major purchasing channels for customers, as well as one of the competitive distribution channels for film distributors or theater group. The research is to investigate the impact of information quality and user interface quality on information service satisfaction and online purchasing intention of cultural products. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Both information quality and interface quality have meaningful influence on information service satisfaction and purchase intention. 2) Information service satisfaction gives significant impact on online purchasing intention irrespective of the level of customer involvement. 3) Information quality has a meaningful influence on online purchasing intention in case of high level of customer involvement, while interface quality gives strong impact on online purchasing intention in case of low level of consumer involvement. In conclusion, there is a need to consider the level of customer involvement for building a successful marketing strategy of online purchase sites of cultural products.

To form impressive oorporate images, the corporation should acquire efficient marketing images and social oonfidences with the investment for the culture, the art, the preservation of public health, educations and social welfare programs. The oorporate image is indined to be formed by audiences subjectively even though the corporation makes great efforts to have its unique images. The audience has a tendency to have their subjective opinions about the corporate image based on several informations communicated by the corporation and various sources. The sensitive approach and emotional persuation can be efficient for making good corporate images because corporate images of audiences arise from emotional and sensitive factors rather than rational ones. There are many previous studies verifying that the humor effect should be one of powerful means for inducing concentrations, memorizations and persuations. The majority of popular advertisings are humor touched one and the questionaire proves that almost all university students participating sample test, prefer humorous advertisings to serious advertisings. The questionaire verifies that it is a most efficient method is using humor effects at product advertising to improve the corporate image indirectly. And there are very possitive reactions about applying humor effects for the corporate image advertising and the other advertisement types such as pamphlets and catalogues. The humor effect motivates the persuation with spiritual pleasures and intimacy, and it minimize the negative aspects of advertising for the formation of the corporate image. The humor effect is valuable not only for the formation of the corporate image reflecting the entity of the oorporation itself but also for the ideation of advertising communications. The study on the humor effect related with the corporate image is significant because the humor is a different version of the humanism based on deep oontemplation and oomprehension of human life rather than simple means to motivate laughers.

Busan Biennale, began from 2000, has been argued that it would improve 'intrinsic introspection related to localism' against 'a lifestyle forced by capitalism in a global dimension', by promoting urban esthetic imagination in the public sphere of the city and reflecting it upon exhibited artworks. But Busan Biennale seems to reflect partly an attempt for new place marketing or urban reimagineering as a part of postmodern culture, even thought it has been planned to be an authentic stage or public-place art for citizens. This paper is to examine Busan Biennale 2006, held from Sep.16 to Nov.25 in Busan main theme of which is 'everywhere', constituted with three major projects: the Contemporary Art Exhibition, Sea Art Festival, and the Busan Sculpture Project. Ths paper considers first some implications of the transformation of modem to postmodern city, focusing on spatial representation of the city and public place art, and then tries to evaluate whether Busan Biennale is really embedded in the local authenticity and esthetic imagination for citizen or not. As concluding remarks, this paper suggests that Busan Biennale would be continuously developed, when it is oriented more towards local public-place art for citizens with their active participations rather than towards urban reimagineering strategy to make and promote an image of Busan as a global city.
Purpose - This study aims to investigate the success factors pertaining to K-POPs from an analysis of the internal business environment. Much research has investigated Korean Moves or how to popularize them. The research mainly focused on aspects of Korean Moves. However, few studies have attempted to examine Korean Moves or K-POPs from a managerial viewpoint. The current research tries to investigate the success factors of K-POP from strategic perspectives, specifically utilizing internal resource based view perspectives. It differentiates itself by looking at the competitiveness of K-POP from the internal resources. Research design, data, and methodology - In the entertainment industry, where creativity is heavily stressed, competitiveness is often regarded within the organization as a form of intangible asset, knowledge, or technology that is often related with the organization's personnel. Some research has tried to reveal the competitiveness of K-POP using Porter's competitiveness of nations framework. Others utilize the adapted model of Porter's structure. However, these models only look at the outside environment, and not inside a firm's resource, knowledge, or capabilities. This research utilizes the VRIO model to examine the internal resources and capabilities of K-POP producers. The model measures whether a firm's internal resources and capabilities are valuable, rare, difficult to imitate by competitors, or organizable. The research covered businesses whose yearly revenue exceeds $10 Million in music planning and recording in South Korea. There were only thirteen such companies (one percent of the total population). Of these, companies for whom 20 percent or more of the sales revenue comes from the abroad are targeted. Only seven are selected and these participated in the research. In order to find a firm's internal resources, we conducted qualitative research methodology. Their business names and persons who participated in this research are not revealed due to case sensitive issues. Instead, we use unrelated initials for their names and their statements. Results - From the in-depth interview with top-tier K-POP producers and managers, the current research tried to identify resources and capabilities that helped to strengthen their competitiveness. These resources and capabilities are sought from the scope of the VRIO model, which looks at the internal resources and capabilities from the scope of value, rarity, imitability, and organization. Interviews with the top tier producers and managers reveal the internal success factors of K-POPs. We conclude that these resources and capabilities are from internally accumulated producing know-how, unique managing (training) system, and outstanding all-round entertainment capabilities of the performers. Conclusions - These results indicate that the core resources and capabilities of K-POP are robust. It will take a significant amount of time and money to imitate for followers, because these resources and capabilities are the result of time investment and are embedded into producers' and performers' know-how. Taking Luo (2000)'s argument, K-POP is in the second stage of the globalization process, which is configuring and allocation resource capabilities to a global scope.
Purpose - There is a dominant opinion that medium and small enterprises in the Korean economy have not developed qualitatively but only towards quantitative growth and, therefore, the unbalanced structure between large enterprises and those that are medium and small has worsened. In particular, this rapid industrialization causes after-effects such as polarization as well as anti-business sentiment, the collapse of the middle class, and hostility against the establishment. The consensus contends that it is difficult for Korea to be an advanced nation without resolving these problems. This paper attempts to suggest a co-prosperity model by limiting the focus to business relations with medium and small manufacturers (with regard to investment among the various co-prosperity institutions of POSCO). These co-prosperity institutions have been established in POSCO; however, it is thought that the development of a co-prosperity model regarding investment in medium and small manufacturers will help many needy investment manufacturers. Research design, data, and methodology - This study analyzes research on the co-prosperity model, using it to examine Korean cases and foreign cases. The co-prosperity model has been continuously extended but is determined to be seriously insufficient. The purpose of this study is to develop the Korean co-prosperity model by reinterpreting it in various aspects. In order to develop the Korean co-prosperity model, this study suggests the case of the establishment of the co-prosperity model by POSCO with medium and small manufacturers with regard to investment. This model is expected to be presented to many enterprises as the future co-prosperity model. Results - To date, analysis of the co-prosperity model itself and the co-prosperity model through the case of POSCO have been suggested. As empirical studies on co-prosperity in Korea are not sufficient, successful models of co-prosperity should be developed in various aspects in future. It is expected that through this study, medium and small manufacturers would have an opportunity to find various growth engines by actively using the cooperation platform and establishing optimized competitiveness of steel material through a steel business model. The ecosystem of enterprises may evolve and be healthier by making more joint products through productive business relationships between large enterprises and those that are medium and small. From the enterprises' ecosystem viewpoint, cooperation between such businesses rather than one-way support is identified as an essential element for the security of inter-competitiveness. Conclusions - Infrastructure should be established to form a dynamic industry ecosystem not by transient efforts in co-prosperity, but by an entire culture of co-prosperity across industries. In this respect, the leading role of public institutions needs to be intensified initially. In addition, the effects of co-prosperity should be extended to blind spots of policies such as third party companies and regions. A precise co-prosperity monitoring system should be established to continuously conduct and extend these efforts.
With rapidly changing multimedia environment, various artistic changes and digitalized up-to-date social infra, urban environment construction based on culture contents has been activated. The large image in front of urban building that is expressed as media-façade, increasing rapidly in a recent period, is not a new thing at all. In addition, IT technology molten in city space is testing the possibility of new media through the meeting with architecture. However, unlike its infra enlargement, the definition about media-façade is not clear so the system was constructed in a level of night lightscape or outdoor image advertisement. The purpose of this guideline is the regulation from the negative aspect rather than the possibility of various visual, artistic media expressions. Therefore, it could not show essential concept of media-façade. Moreover, most of companies or building owners focus on short-term profit and marketing effect rather than prepare various contents so they can not use constructed infra properly. After all, in many cases, they discolor the meaning of media-façade. This paper is a pilot study to grasp the current definition of media-façade to construct right guideline of media-façade. On the basis of this study, it will prepare academic definition of media-façade and construct the guideline for design evaluation.
Today, the consumer is more careful in buying goods, invests more time in collecting relevant information to avoid any potential danger, and restricts from potential impulse buying. To react this consumer's carefulness, the seafood brands provide much information including the origin labeling system, the traceability, the food's safety & hygiene. Also the branding by region or company is pursued. Like that, a seafood brand's importance is increased, but there lack few researches dealing how current consumer's attitude influences on real purchase behavior, and how the attitude works consumer purchase decision. Therefore, this study researched the brand's influence on the consumer's attitude and purchase intention. For this purpose, this study targeted the salty mackerel and the dried yellow corvina because they are already branded and sold in some popularity, and researched how a brand's popularity, its image, and its recognized quality could effect on the consumer's attitude and purchase intention. As the result, it was appeared that a seafood brand's popularity didn't directly effect on the consumer's purchase intention, but indirectly influenced through the consumer's attitude as a parameter. From this result, improving a seafood brand's popularity needs some time to form the consumer's positive attitude and to lead to consumer purchase intention of seafood brand. So, it is thought that various promotion activities for seafood consumption must be continually performed rather than some temporary special events. Consumers showed more positive attitude on familiar seafood based on a product's original place and the freshness. Also they had better feeling about some seafood with their speciality images rather than the same kinds of products produced in other regions. This attitude temporarily led to purchase intention. Therefore, it is important that the branding strategy development should start from some seafood familiar to us in traditional food culture and food habit, but should delivery the reliance and the freshness in accurately indicating their origins, and should emphasize their differences as specialities. Consumers showed some positive attitudes on the seafood featuring the hygiene, the safety, continual good quality, and their attitudes led to their purchase intentions in temporary. The seafood product reflecting these results the best is the marketing activities on some Andong salty mackerel products acquired HACCP certification. it is thought that a seafood's branding strategy should be established on distinctive branding strategies using reliable certification mark like HACCP based on the hygiene, the safety, and the quality.
The social statistic was used to top 250 Korean and Japanese YouTube channels based on the number of subscribers examine its channel type (private/corporations/others), distribution of contents and private YouTube channels' date of registration. The channel examination was also used to provide practical hint to create new Youtube contents. According to the statistics, Korean channels were mainly managed by K-Culture related companies for the promotional purpose, whereas Japanese channels were mainly managed by individuals with a variety of contents. It is presumed that Japanese individuals have been engaged in creating individual video content since the early period through video uploading platforms other than YouTube such as Niconico Douga. Since the expansion of the YouTube market will continue, it is important not only to reinforce corporations' marketing on YouTube but also to promote the uniqueness and the diversity of YouTube content for the individuals to improve the economical, sentimental, and informational contents in order to create socially effective personal contents that can be competitive in the global market.
