An objective basis is presented by the analysis of articles and illustrations from the press and publications of the corresponding times. The significance of this study is to research the modern Korean embroidery art, which connected traditional times with modern Korean culture in order to investigate its identity. Due to Korea's modern embroidery art being started in the Japanese colonial times, there are some limits in it because of it being influenced by Western modern embroidery art and Japanese embroidery design. However, modern Korean embroidery art expanded from the private space to public space such as schools, open lectures and exhibitions. It has also accepted diverse foreign embroidery forms, which have been commercialized and accepted as art. The embroidery craft as commerce and art has given women the chance to achieve economic independence and to improve their social status. Modern Korean embroidery was art for the modern woman who had been educated in academic art, as well as a liberal art for wealthy housewives. It was the foundation of economic independence for poor rural women. It can be concluded that Modern Korean embroidery art has been accepted and developed by women in modern times.

  • To design and construct a museum of art involves the interest of artists, architects, curatorship, management, and local government. More than this direct relationship, museum obliges the public a mission of delivering genuine public experience through art and architecture. However, most of Modern and contemporary architecture has not delivered genuine public experience of integrated art and architecture. Conceptual message of art and perceptual architectural exhibition space has not been integrated easily. Picture frame canvas initiated this schism and institutionalized museum management hampered the creativity of artists. This schism was overcome through artists' questioning of museum culture and creative works that embrace work and its environment. In contemporary culture, installation art and media art necessitates a new museum format which needs not only exhibition, but laboratory and interface space with viewers. This paper will regroup the existing museum according to its use and strategy, and reinterpret progressive museums that fosters young artists, and more than this, will introduce successfully established museums for new forms of art, which are equipped with versatile exhibition spaces, innovative interface between works and viewers, and own laboratory that can produce works of art. These examples will envision a creative method of art and architecture production that can achieve genuine public experience.

This research is on Germany modern art museum and it is composed of important 'public institutions' of Germany that critically influence the growth of world-renown authors. After the unification of Germany, Munchen and the western region became an important places centering around new Berlin modern art museum. They are the best places that show the national objectives and regional characteristics. Also, there are art museum educational curriculum and open space for the people by explaining exhibition plans and contents. Furthermore, there are two characteristics of German modern art museums that are noteworthy. Firstly, there are Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie, Munchen's Pinakothek de Moderne, and Dusseldorf's 'K20' (Kunstsammlung N-Westfalen K20) that are the roots of modern art. These modern art museums exhibit popular author's collection repeatedly. This has a tendency to standardize audiences' view or to make audiences bored. It is becoming more like a trend for art work to appear and disappear. From these roles, Hamburger Bahnhof Museum fur Gegenwart or Dusseldorf's 'K21, Frankfurt Museum $f\"{u}r$ Moderne Kunst, $Kf\"{o}ln$ Museum Ludwig are given new attention. Here, they emphasize the importance of communicating with the audiences and provides experiences that are different from the original spaces by showing the architecture tecture style of the art museum. In conclusion, German modern art museums attempt various changes by connecting to art education. With art museum activities, there forms a connection between arts and the lives of people, and from this, creative cultural art focused on the art museum borns. This is not only limited to Germany, the U.S., etc. We, too, should pay attention to new art culture creation from changes of role and function of modern art museums.

  • As the dark side of society, Idle spaces, which occurred with the paradigm change due to rapid modernization and industralization, has been existing as a severed part in cities. But with the periodic change, interest in the existing place and regional regeneration, and the necessity of reconsidering about the idle spaces values of space, city environment, socio-culture, and economy was proposed. I estimated that the change of relational aesthetics aspect of modern arts resulted in the consideration of recognizing 'place' of art, through the study, it was revealed that the form of modern arts and change of enjoyment were related to space, and the fact that this had a relation with the rise of artistic regeneration of idle spaces. mutually communicative relationship formation and practical form of arts was deducted through the interpretation of relational aesthetics, Idle spaces and artistic regeneration space can be categorized into forms of experiential space, creative space, and cultural space, depending on the formation of relationship between author-art-audience. Through the comprehensive analysis, Artistic regeneration space by relationship formation is Vitalization of various forms of art and participation program eliminates the boundary between creation and enjoyment, and the space itself can be said to contain extensive, integral, and nonterritorialization meaning as a place of experiencing art. In other words, Artistic regeneration space of idle spaces forms a close relationship with the local society, and is placed within the context of daily domain as an open space, straying off from the existing separative and closed artistic space configuration. and artistic changeover of idle spaces is not only the appearance of space that simply fulfills function according to transfiguration of modern art, but signifies that art is coexisting with space as an indivisible relationship, and can be said to be the foothold of new relationship creation as the practical 'place' of art.
