The Identity of the Hyangje Samhyunyukgak (향제 삼현육각의 특징)

  • In the situation where the interest of the academics related to the Hyangje Samhyunyukgak is increasing, the task of identifying the identity of the Hyangje Samhyunyukgak should precede. In this paper, we will discuss the characteristics of the Hyangje Samhyunyukgak distinguished from the court style Samhyunyukgak. First, we will discuss the characteristics of instrument organization. In the form of the Hyangje Samhyunyukgak, the composition of the musical instrument is flexible. Depending on circumstances such as the geographic region or the composition of the player, the set of instruments were added or reduced. The second part relates to composition of music. Among the various pieces of music, a piece of music to be selected in a specific situation is music pieces related to the use of the piece of music in depth. In this phenomenon, the music with the greatest change is Geosangak(거상악). The music played as Geosangak repertoire showed various musical pieces that are related to various situations in different regions. Finally, I would like to discuss the problems related to the origins of Hyangje Samhyunyukgak music. Characteristic factors of Musical Actor affect the Audience's Loyalty to the Performance : Focus on the Mediating Effects of Audience's Sensory Presence (공연 충성도에 영향을 미치는 뮤지컬 배우의 특성 요인 : 감각적 현전의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed the characteristic factors of musical actor that affect the audience's loyalty to the performance by inducing the audience's sensory presence which is the unique characteristic of the performing arts and analyzed the mediating effects of audience's sensory presence between the characteristics of musical actor and audience's loyalty to the performance. Actor's characteristics which are an independent variable were composed with the appearance of actor, acting skills, sing ability and actor's known degree. Audience's sensory presence which is mediating variable was divided into immersion and identification. Audience's loyalty to the performance which is a dependent variable was set as intention of recommendation and intention of revisit the performance. The result of analysis shows that identification have significant mediating effects in all independent variables except between actor's known degree and the audience loyalty to the performance. It shows immersion have also significant mediating effects among all independent variables and the audience loyalty to the performance. The multiple mediating effects of Immersion and Identification between Actor's characteristics and Loyalty to the performance have significant effects all parts. Especially, The result of this study shows that indirect effects that arrive to the loyalty through immersion or identification are larger than the direct effect that actor's characteristics affect to the loyalty to the performance. Actor's characteristics which affect Audience's loyalty to the performance by mediating Audience's sensory presence are shown in order of appearance of actor, acting skills, sing ability and actor's known degree. These results suggest key factors of musical actor's characteristics which lead loyalty to the performance by mediating Audience's sensory presence to musical producers and directors and actors.

  • During the Japanese colonial era, Chosun Central Young Men's Christian Association Hall, Gyeongseong Public Hall, or Bumingwan was used as multipurpose space where various performances or events were held. Although traditional music performed in each of the places did influence the remaining of traditional music in existence as well as the vitalization of traditional musicians' activity, since these places were mostly for Western music or other genres, no research has been carried out to study the performance of traditional music there in detail. The purpose of this study is to understand the aspects of performing traditional music in multipurpose places mentioned above. Reviewing newspaper materials of the time, this author has examined the aspects of performing traditional music in each of those places in terms of the forms of performances performance programs performers as well as performing groups the aspects of development. First, this researcher considered in what forms traditional music was performed in each of the places mostly. About performance programs, this author divided them into instrumental music, vocal music court music, and folk music. Regarding performers, this study divided them into instrumental music and vocal music professional performers and unprofessional performers male and female master singers and gisaeng and figured out the importance of each of them in different places. Also, concerning the appearance of performers and performing groups, this researcher studied how it was associated with the space, and about the aspects of performance, how it was developed in different periods was examined. In that process, this author has learned that the aspects of performing traditional music in the space were significantly influenced by the characteristics of each space and has clearly and concretely understood performing programs as well as the aspects of performers and groups' activity. With this research as an opportunity, this author expects that research will be actively conducted on the performance of traditional music in each of the places that have not been studied yet and it can contribute to figuring out the development or trends of performing traditional music during the Japanese colonial era.

  • This study aims to investigate the current status of the operation system of the curriculum support extra-curricular program, focusing on the extra-curricular program operation system of other universities, and suggest the desirable operation system and performance management plan of the extra-curricular program in cultural education. To this end, the analysis of the extra-curricular program operation system of eight four-year universities in the Seoul metropolitan area was conducted on the existence of core competencies, computer systems and extra curricula program guides, credit-linked and mileage scholarship programs, and the analysis focused on the characteristics, merits and demerits of each university's operating system. It was also intended to propose the desirable operation system and performance management plan of the extra curricula program in liberal arts education, focusing on the operation system of the extra curricula program of E University and the corresponding performance management. Conclusion To operate the extra curricula program efficiently, the computer system and the extra curricula program guide, credit link and mileage scholarship system should be introduced. In addition, the analysis of the operation system of the curriculum support program of E University shows that E University operates systematically with the direction of operation of the core competency-based curriculum support extra-curricular program, and the performance management of the extra curricula program of E University is carried out through the EU-TQM System Integrated Management System.

  • Importance: The creation of robust maternal-embryonic interactions and implantation models is important for comprehending the early stages of embryonic development and reproductive disorders. Traditional two-dimensional (2D) cell culture systems often fail to accurately mimic the highly complex in vivo conditions. The employment of three-dimensional (3D) organoids has emerged as a promising strategy to overcome these limitations in recent years. The advancements in the field of organoid technology have opened new avenues for studying the physiology and diseases affecting female reproductive tract. Observations: This review summarizes the current strategies and advancements in the field of 3D organoids to establish maternal-embryonic interaction and implantation models for use in research and personalized medicine in assisted reproductive technology. The concepts of endometrial organoids, menstrual blood flow organoids, placental trophoblast organoids, stem cell-derived blastoids, and in vitro-generated embryo models are discussed in detail. We show the incorportaion of organoid systems and microfluidic technology to enhance tissue performance and precise management of the cellular surroundings. Conclusions and Relevance: This review provides insights into the future direction of modeling maternal-embryonic interaction research and its combination with other powerful technologies to interfere with this dialogue either by promoting or hindering it for improving fertility or methods for contraception, respectively. The merging of organoid systems with microfluidics facilitates the creation of sophisticated and functional organoid models, enhancing insights into organ development, disease mechanisms, and personalized medical investigations.

  • The purpose of this research explain the meaning of the environmental design principles and cultural landscape pattern(dualistic space organization) of the Hahoe(河回:winding river village) the Yangdong(良洞) traditional village. Village's space organizations based on Shamanism, fin-yang and Five elements principle, Feng-shui idea, social system and Confucian ideas. And it were accomplish curat landscape pattern(village:form+object=pattern) through the frame of settlement space. As a central persons of villages(the Hahoe $.$ the Yangdong) construction, Suhae(西厓) experienced tough Chunghyodang - Wonjichongsa - Ogyonchongsa - Pyongsansowon channel(忠孝堂 -遠志精舍 -玉端精含 -脣山書院) and Kyomam(謙 ) experienced tough Yangjindang - Binyeonchongsa - Kyomamchongsa - Hwachonsodang(養眞堂 - 賓淵精舍 - 謙庵f精舍 - 花川書堂) channel. Also Woojae(愚齋) experienced tough Suhbackdang - Khankachung - Dongkangsowon(書百堂 - 觀稼停 - 東江書院) and Hoejae(晦齋) experienced tough Moochumdang - Hyangdan - Oaksansowon(無添堂 - 香壇 - 玉山書院). Analysis of Research Trends on Domestic Stage Costumes (무대의상 연구의 동향 분석)

  • This study examines research trends in the dissertations and journal articles on stage costume so as to provide basic information on directions for future studies. The data was collected from the theses of domestic journals of the Korean Studies Information (KSI) which were published until December, 2012 and retrieved by a keyword related to the "design of stage costume", "costume for performing art", and etc. Theses and articles for the analyses were a total of 200 published. Reviewing the theses by dividing the times into 8 Chronicles of 5 years in each term. The findings of the study are as follows: According to the chronological analysis, there has been a steady increase in the rates of the musical, ballet, dance, and circus costume and cutting edged technology such as LED has been utilized in the performing art, currently. The real production and making up of the costumes have been increasing as well by replacing of illustration and rendering of the costumes. In the recent costume of the performing arts show the tends of the visual effects and up-sizing, comprehensiveness and fusion. From the analysis of the background of the work, those were confirmed that the most common historical period was modern period, and places were France, England, and Egypt. In regard to research themes and methods, many of research papers utilized content analysis method, character analysis method as research methods. The most popular presentation of the costume designs was "rendering", "costumes schedule" and "illustration". However, development and explanation of the patterns was insufficient and constructions methods and real works(costumes) were usually omitted in the articles.
