The present study examined the cultural competence of university students on migrants and multicultural society in Korea. A total of 11 university students living in Seoul, Gyeonggido and Chungcheondo, were selected for the interview. The participants provided their cultural cognition, cultural knowledge and cultural skill on a variety of issues related to migrants and multicultural society in Korea. Interview results indicated that participants perceived negative and positive affects to Korean society and prejudice about immigrants, thaught economic support as a emergent policy, and didn't experience multicultural society. They wanted to take a trip and learning foreign language. On the cultural skill participants had progressive perspectives about immigrants' right, discrimination and evaluation and had a multiculturism based on assimilation. Implications of the study and directions for future research were discussed. It is needed to educations and programs for development of university students' cultural competence.

Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the predictors of cultural sensitivity for nursing students in Korea. Methods: The participants in this study were 332 nursing students. Data collection was conducted through the use of questionnaires which were constructed to include a Cultural Sensitivity Scale, Knowledge of Culture, Interpersonal Reaction Index, and Self-efficacy Scale. Results: Results showed that cultural sensitivity of nursing students was middle range. Knowledge level of culture was very low. There was a significant positive correlation between cultural sensitivity and knowledge of culture, empathy, and self-efficacy. The significant factors influencing cultural sensitivity of nursing students were empathy, self-efficacy, experience of an overseas trip and awareness of cultural education. These four factors explained 23.8% of the variance in cultural sensitivity of nursing students. Conclusion: These results indicate that cultural sensitivity is an important link with empathy and self-efficacy in nursing students. For nursing students to enhance cultural sensitivity, a transcultural nursing curriculum needs to develop for appropriate and effective services in cross-cultural situations of the multicultural families in Korea.

본 연구는 미래로 나아갈수록 창의적 인재가 요구되는 사회에서 청소년의 창의성을 어떻게 발현시키고 발달시킬 것인가에 대한 건강한 정신건강과 문화예술교육의 함의를 시사하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 연구 방법은 한국교육개발원에서 제공하는 한국교육종단연구(KELS) 패널 데이터 자료를 부분 추출하여 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 정신건강과 창의성의 관계를 살펴보았고 정신건강과 창의성의 관계에서 문화활동참여 빈도, 문화예술활동 경험 각각의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 정신건강과 창의성의 관계는 유의미한 정적 관계로 나타났으며 부분매개효과를 확인했고 편안함, 즐거움, 행복함의 긍정적 정신건강과 문화예술교육, 문화예술활동이 청소년의 창의성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결과를 본 연구에서 검증하였다. 따라서 청소년의 창의성 발달을 위해 마음의 편안함, 즐거움, 행복함과 같은 심리·정서적 정신건강 증진이 우선 되어야 하며 촉진 수단의 매개로 문화예술활동에 참여하는 방법을 활용할 수 있으며 청소년 문화예술활동 경험의 활성화를 위한 지역사회와 교육 현장의 다양한 문화예술교육 프로그램 개발 및 제공은 미래 사회의 창의융합형 인재를 양성하기 위한 주요한 과제가 될 것이다.

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine and compare satisfaction with Korean health care services for Americans, Chinese and Russians who resided in Korea. Methods: A questionnaire was distributed to 252 participants (81 Americans, 89 Chinese, 82 Russians). Three focus group interviews were subsequently conducted in order to obtain a greater understanding of participants' experience and perspectives. Results: The average satisfaction score was 3.09, with Americans and Russians showing significantly higher scores than Chinese. Overall, participants reported higher satisfaction in 'Facility', 'Quality of care' and 'Nursing services' as opposed to 'Information/education'. 'Care with cultural respect' as well as communication related services. Data from the focus group interviews were categorized into 12 sub-categories, 7 categories and 2 themes. The two themes were common experience and contrasting experience. Common experience included 4 categories, 'Quality of care', 'Hospital facility and health care system', 'Language barrier' and 'Information and education'. Contrasting experience included 3 categories, 'Medical cost', 'Health care personnel' and 'Accessibility'. Conclusion: Results of this study provide basic knowledge on foreign residents' satisfaction and experience with Korean health care services. Further research is needed with foreigners from different cultural backgrounds. Administrative and educational efforts are required to improve communication skills and cultural competency.

본 연구는 구독 서비스 중 '무제한형 구독 서비스'의 사용자 경험 만족도 요인을 측정하고, 경제적 문화적 관점을 토대로 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 해당 서비스를 사용해본 경험이 있는 20-30대를 모집하였고, 피터 모빌(Peter Morville)의 허니콤 모형을 재구성하여 작성한 질문을 통해 설문조사를 시행하였다. 설문 결과, 경제적 관점에서는 서비스 가격과 이용 시간에 대한 가성비 및 구독 유입의 용이성이 만족도 주요 요인이었으며, 문화적 관점에서는 서비스에 대한 친근감과 믿음 및 주변 사람들과의 콘텐츠 공유 경험이 주요 만족 요인이었다. 따라서 구독 서비스의 사용자 경험 만족도는 일차적으로 경제적 만족도가 먼저 충족되어야 문화적 만족도 충족으로도 이어진다는 것을 추론할 수 있다. 본 연구는 무제한형 구독 서비스의 사용자 경험이나 만족도 요인에 관한 연구의 자료로써 활용되기를 기대한다.

본 연구는 ICT를 토대로 문화복지에 대한 방향성을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 정부정책의 방향과 문화복지 서비스 현황에 대해 살펴보고 국내외 문화복지 서비스 사례에 관련하여 사용자 체험을 중심으로 하는 박물관과 미술관을 대상으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 미술관에 비해 박물관은 미디어환경에 따라 많은 변화가 모색되었다. 세부적으로 미디어 1.0시대에는 실제 박물관을 통해 관람되었다면 미디어 2.0시대에는 가상박물관이 나타났다. 이것은 미디어 환경, 대상(전시물), 접근성, 소모성 및 정보성에 있어서 많은 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 끝으로 이를 통해 한국형 ICT 문화복지 서비스 환경변화요소를 제언하였다. 향후, 문화소외계층에게 문화향유에 대한 문화복지 서비스의 확대가능성에 대한 지속적인 연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.

This study investigated the relationships between inter-cultural experience and socio-psychological adjustment to the current life among children who have refilmed from living abroad. The subject of research consisted of 102 boys and 110 girls from fourth grade through sixth grade who returned to their home country after living in a foreign correlation Data were collected from 5 elementary schools in Seoul. Descriptive statistics, t-tests, correlation analysis and regression were used for data analysis. The results of children's social-psychological adjustment were represented by 3 categories: school/friend relationship, stress/strain and language/learning. The following are the summarized results; First, girl students were more likely to adapt to school/friend relationships in Korea and had lower stress/strain than boys. Second, the children having shorter period of residence in foreign county, lower adaptation ability to different culture and extrovert personality showed higher socio-psychological adjustments after returning to Korea. Third, the adjustment to school/friends was influenced by period of residency in the foreign county, the experience of different culture, and extrovert personality. The experience of different culture and extrovert personality effected stress/strain, and the adjustments to language/learning were influenced only by the ewperiecne of different culture. Lastly, the experience of different culture was the most important variable influencing all 3 categories of socio-psychological adjustments.

This study aims at searching for educational quality of abstract expression from the expression 'Yeok-goon-eun'[亦君恩/ also the king's mercy] which appears frequently in the classics. I clarified that the expression can be used to mean not only eulogy and missing the king, which is a conventional phrase, but also cynicism or excuse for oneself, curative response and so forth. In other words, the symbol, 'Yeok-goon-eun', has a variety of meanings according to readers and contexts. Like the example of the expression 'Yeok-goon-eun', the expressions of the classics in itself imply deep meanings to experience. They do not correspond to contemporary words which are familiar to current readers. Thus, the expressions of the classics have to be experienced by learners. In specific, 'Yeok-goon-eun' provides the present learners with special experience such as perception and attitude about the world, relationship between the nature and human beings, and cultural practices which attribute to the other. Such perspective of experience has been focussed on that the expressions in the classics have the world of understanding and recognition which is quite different from the present beyond the side of communication and delivery. It offers significant viewpoint in relation to value and quality of classic literature education.

본 연구는 공연장 서비스 품질이 고객 경험 가치와 공연 만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고, 변수간에 인과관계를 검정하기 위해 시도되었다. 이를 위하여 선행 연구를 검토하여 연구 모형을 도출 하였고, 공연 관람자를 대상으로 실증 조사를 실시하였다. 이번 연구에서는 직원 친절도, 시설 우수성, 편의성, 부대시설을 독립변수로 정하고, 공연 만족도를 종속변수로 선정하였으며, 두 변수 간 매개변수로는 고객 경험가치인 문화적 가치, 경제적 가치를 검토하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면, 공연장 서비스 품질 중 직원 친절도, 시설 우수성, 편의성은 공연 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한, 공연장 서비스 품질과 공연 만족도 간의 고객 경험 가치 매개 효과는 편의성이 문화적 가치와 경제적 가치 변수 모두 완전매개로 나타났고, 직원의 친절도 변수는 문화적 가치에 완전매개, 경제적 가치는 부문매개로 나타났다. 시설 우수성 변수는 문화적 가치에서 부분매개, 경제적 가치에서는 완전매개로 나타났다. 부대시설의 경우 유의성 검정에 실패하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 고객에 대한 편의 제공 서비스는 다른 무엇보다도 중요한 변수임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과는 공연장 서비스 품질은 시설과 직원의 친절이 기본적으로 유지되어야 되며, 고객은 공연장으로부터 제공되는 관객 편의적 서비스를 통해 공연에 대한 만족을 더 느끼고 있다는 결론을 유추할 수 있다. 따라서, 공연장은 고객 서비스 및 응대, 티켓의 구매, 환불 방법, 직원의 교육을 철저히 해야 관객이 다시 찾는 공연장을 만들 수 있다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

Online learning has become a widespread practice for students and teachers in acquiring and delivering knowledge. Education platforms have become prominent in the 21st century with the evolution of technology and the accessibility to online learning. As a result, various learning management systems (LMSs) have been introduced to facilitate online interaction between users. For instance, communication between students and teachers at school. However, there is a need to emphasise user engagement in LMS to enhance the online learning experience amongst students since the design of LMS affects user engagement. This study utilised a systematic literature review (SLR) that examined 74 articles published between 2014 and 2023, focusing on cross-cultural design (CCD), user-centred design (UCD), and usability in LMS design. This study aimed to review CCD and its association with UCD, user interfaces (UI), and user experience (UX) in the context of LMS. CCD has been introduced as an approach to design that embraces different cultures, languages, and social contexts, while UCD plays a significant role in defining user engagement for LMS. All elements in CCD and UCD help create a better user experience for LMS. Besides, this study reviewed the usability of selected LMS to give insights to developers in creating a positive user engagement. An insight into cultural factors that influence the usability of LMS has revealed their value for LMS design, such as the UI/UX elements. Initially, this study may guide future researchers in improving education quality by emphasising CCD and LMS usability, which can enhance user engagement.
