Cultural Features in Modern Digital Fashion Shows Focusing on Hybrid Digital Culture (현대 디지털 패션쇼에 나타난 하이브리드 디지털 문화적 특성)

  • Purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of the hybrid digital culture and to find out the features of digital fashion shows appearing in the period of the hybrid digital culture as there have been almost no studies on the hybrid cultural values in the fashion shows and on the diachronic socio-cultural viewpoint of fashion show. The characteristics of hybrid digital culture were identified through the analysis of cases, and they were organized into three for this study; 'non-economic creativity', 'interactive communication' and 'transcendence'. Based on these characteristics, the features of hybrid digital cultures in the modern digital fashion shows were classified into the digitalization of presentation form and the acceptance by audience of digitalization using case studies. The features of digital fashion shows which appear through the presentation form in the digital fashion shows are as follows; 'Expansion of presentation media of runway' and 'Destruction of component factors of runway'. The features of digital fashion show in the perspective of audience's acceptance of digitalization are as follows; 'Audience's field experience through the live video', 'Participation by audience in interactive manner' and, 'Immersion in the virtual reality by the audiences'.

Study on Manufacturing Technique and Lead Provenance of Bronze Bodhisattva from Pangyo-dong Sites in Seongnam (성남 판교 출토 청동보살상의 제작기법 및 납 원료의 산지추정)

  • Analysis of the bronze bodhisattva from Pangyo-dong sites in Seongnam by computed tomography, ICP-AES, metallurgical microscope and SEM-EDS had to know manufacturing technique. And the origin of the raw material, was investigated using TIMS. Results with computed tomography, two bronze bodhisattva produced by lost-wax casting technique with hollow inside and could see the core of the inside. Result of component analysis and microstructure observation, material is alloy of copper-tin-lead and made by casting without artificial treatment. According to lead isotope ratio analysis result of bronze bodhisattva could be made into galena of the Gyeonggi massif in Korea South.

Comparative Study on the Pigments Applied on the Wall Paintings of Temple in 18~19C (18~19세기 사찰벽화에 사용된 안료 비교 고찰)

  • This study investigated the properties of the painting materials used in the temple wall paintings of the $18^{th}$ to $19^{th}$ centuries by synthetically comparing the component analysis data on the pigments used in the temple wall paintings. The study subjects analyzed from ED-XRF are the data on the 61 temple wall paintings distributed nationwide. The colors of the wall painting coloring layers are classified into seven categories: white, incanadine, yellow, red, green, blue and black color. No big geographical and temporal differences in the type of the pigments were found in the temple paintings of the late Joseon Dynasty distributed in Gyeongsangdo and Jeollado. On the other hand, there were differences in the use of a color when mixing it with other colors depending on the painted parts.

  • Food tourism has grown exponentially every year and food is now considered a vital component of the tourism experience. In recent years, smartphone applications have emerged as a new tool helping travelers create experiences, which allow a number of users to access easily informations about foods while traveling abroad. This study propose a new developing model of food cultural contents for smartphone application for international travelers, 'menu guide for international travelers'. It was created by a group of experts in food culture, who had been lived or are living in 10 different countries, and the collective intelligence enabled to create extensive and reliable food cultural contents. Therefore, it is considered that this developing model of food cultural contents will be a good example for the development of mobile contents for smartphone applications.

Relationship between Cultural Physical Education Class of Enjoyment Factor, Class Satisfaction and Exercise Continuation Behavior Through Convergence (융복합을 활용한 교양체육수업에 따른 재미요인, 수업만족 및 운동지속행동의 관계)

  • This study is to identify the relationship between cultural physical education class of enjoyment factor, class satisfaction, and exercise continuation behavior. For this purpose, 275 out of 300 copies of survey aimed at students in four universities located in Gyeong-gi province were used. PAWS 18.0 program was used for analysis to present descriptive statistics. Principal component analysis and rotation of Max Berry were used among exploratory factor analysis to check factor extraction and internal consistency. Cronbach's alpha was used for checking reliability. Multiple regression analysis was used to clarify the relationship between enjoyment factor, class satisfaction, and exercise continuation behavior of cultural physical education. These are the following conclusions. First, instructional behavior, grade in physical education, environment, and exercise ability among the enjoyment factors in cultural physical education class have a significant effect on persistence of exercise. Second, instructional behavior and grade in physical education are the factors of class satisfaction and the have a significant effect on persistence of exercise.

A Study on the Surface Phenomena of Re-creational Gilt Layer by Conditions of Heat Treatment (열처리 조건에 따른 재현 도금층의 표면현상 연구)

  • This study discusses a mercury amalgam gilding technique and examines how the color, surface and section of the gilt layer changes as the condition of heat treatment with mercury amalgam gilt object is changed. Some previous studies have mentioned reasons for various colors on gilt bronze artifacts depending on gilding manufacture and environment. However, reason for reddish color with gold on the artifacts' surface brought on high temperature corrosion has yet to be discussed and analyzed. A methodology was found in representing the mercury amalgam gilding technique and heat treatment test. According to the result of the heat treatment test, in the conditions of higher temperature and longer time, the oxidized layer on the gilt layer was distributed more widely and in the part when the oxide layer was eliminated, the gilt layer with a reddish color was observed. Moreover, in the surface observation of the specimen on which yellow and reddish colors were agitated, the changing aspects of its surface condition differed by colors. When investigated the section, it was observed that the void density and size became larger. After a test, the surface components changed; the temperature of heat treatment increased, component ratio of Hg and Au decreased gradually but component ratio of Cu increased. In regard to the gilt layer, as the time was longer and the temperature became higher for the heat treatment, the component ratio of Au and Cu by layers tended to change in inverse proportion. It is concluded that gilding techniques and the burial environment can make a difference in the surface color of the gilt layer on the gilt bronze artifacts, the high temperature corrosion that occurs by heat after they are manufactured is also one of the factors that affects their surface color.

  • This study was conducted on the face ratio of mammals. It can also be applied to character automation by checking factors about the difference between animal and human face shapes. This paper used the face and face area data generated for Deep Learning learning. In detail, the proportion factors of the area comprising the faces of 20 species of animals and humans were defined and the average ratio was calculated. Next, the proportion of each animal was analyzed using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Through this, we would like to propose the golden ratio of mammals.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the properties of natural mineral pigments used in restoration and conservation of cultural assets. For this study blue-based pigments that are sold in market were selected. The component analysis using by XRF and XRD shows that blue pigment consist of Azurite. And each specimens were evaluated particle size, chromaticity, specific gravity and oil-absorption according to rating system of pigments particle size. Results show that the value of L* increase with the decrease in particle size. The results suggest that the physical properties which is specific gravity, oil-absorption and chromaticity depend on the particle sizes of pigments. When it comes to particle size of pigments decreased by increasing the number of rating system. In addition, the chromaticity related to particle size. The result from this study expects to be used as useful referencing data for conservation and restoration of cultural heritage and understanding phenomena of the properties according to various particle size of Seokcheong pigment.

Properties Change of Korean Traditional Animal Glue Depending on The Parts of Cattle Hide and Extraction Conditions (소가죽부위 및 추출조건에 따른 전통 아교 특성 변화)

  • We investigated the properties of Korean traditional animal glue which are associated with the use of different parts of cattle hide and extraction conditions. Both average molecular weight(Mw, Mz) and polydispersity (PDI) of the animal glue increased with extraction time, whereas only PDI decreased after 48h. There were no differences in the average molecular weight and PDI for the different cattle hide parts used, although a individual difference was observed with regard to total molecular weight. Differences in extracts over time were compared by investigating the amide regions representing the gelatien component of the animal glue. The triple helix structure of the belly skin deteriorated in a manner proportional to the extraction time, and differences were observed for each cattle hide part. The yellowness increased with the extraction time; however, the viscosity was not proportional to the average change in molecular weight. This study has some limitations because of difficulties in the quality control of cases where small amounts of glue were extracted as small differences might impact the overall results considerably. Further research exploring various extraction conditions is required to ensure the prodiction of traditional animal glue with optimum qualities.

A Collecting and Record of Wide Area Cultural Resources : the Case of Asian Cotton Cultural Resources (광역 문화자원의 수집과 기록 : 아시아 목화문화자원을 중심으로)

  • In Asia, when cotton and cotton fabrics cultivated and produced in India of Southern Asia had spread to the whole Asia area by land and by sea, the Cotton Road and cotton fabric cultural area could be formed. In Korea, the traditional cotton (Gossypium arboreum) brought by Moon Ik-Jeom in 1363 was cultivated and then the Upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) brought via Japan could be produced from 1904. Especially, Gwangju/Jeonnam was the most active place in producing traditional cotton, and eventually became the center of cotton cultivation and fabric production after bringing in Upland cotton. In order to collect and record the cotton cultural resources in the broad area, the Cultural Resources Set, classified its component parts should be made first and then the collecting objects should be investigated. The collecting areas are selected based on the spreading paths and the regional significance of cotton. Since its difficulty of collecting the relevant resources from all of the places in Asia, it should be planned to share the resources through exchanges and cooperation among private, institution and organization. The relevant experts from the various fields should participate in the interdisciplinary researches which are necessary for collecting and recording of wide area cultural resources. Considering the collecting limitation of genuine relics, the digital archives should be established and then offered through a web site that everyone can use them freely by remote. It also needs to plan to display on and off-line for users to perceive the similarity, difference and interconnections of the resources with ease.
