The demands for large-scale construction projects such as Mega-projects are largely increasing due to the rapid growth of increasing populations as well as the need to replace existing buildings and infrastructure. Increasing costs of materials, supplies, and labors require the first cost estimates at the preliminary planning stage to be as accurate as possible. This paper presents the results obtained from the survey on evaluating nine critical success factors that influence the accurate first cost estimates for large-scale projects from practical experiences. It then examines the current cost structures of construction companies for large-scale projects, followed by the causes for cost and schedule overrun. Twenty completed surveys were collected and the Analytic Hierarchy Process was applied to analyze the data. The results indicate that technology issues, the contract type, and social and environmental impacts are the significant leading factors for accurate first cost estimates of large-scale construction projects.

모바일 메선저는 ICT의 발전에 따라 새로운 비즈니스의 성공 기회를 창출하고 있으나 한편으로는 메신저 개발 과정에서 극복해야할 도전사항들이 존재하며 이의 극복은 새로운 메신저 개발에 따른 사업 성공의 기준이 된다. 논문에서는 모바일 메신저들의 특성을 식별하고 AHP를 사용하여 사용자들의 모바일 메신저에 대한 선호도를 분석함으로써 향후, 모바일 메신저 개발에 있어서 고려해야하는 주요 성공요소를 평가하였다. 본 논문에서 메신저의 성공요소를 분석한 결과 AHP의 일관성 비율(CR)이 0.098로 도출되었으며 이는 AHP의 허용가능한 일관성 비율 범위에 해당하여 분석결과가 신뢰성이 있음을 의미한다. 주요 성공요소로는 우선순위에 따라 보안(0.409), 엔터테인먼트(0.19) 그리고 통신(0.187)이 선정되었으며 이는 개발의 성공요소일 뿐만 아니라 ICT의 트웬드에 맞는 사업성공의 이정표로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

Use of ICT in Government has ability to improve service delivery to its citizens, and yet many developing countries have lagged behind in the implementation of e-Government. Many e-Government initiatives also failed to achieve their objectives in developing countries. This paper therefore aims to identify critical failure or success factors in Kenya, using Heeks' Factor Model. A survey questionnaire was developed and data were collected and analyzed from officials and interested citizens. The analysis results enabled to highlight seven specific success and failure factors, and their constituent elements in Kenya. The Kenyan overall e-Government implementation score belongs to the Zone of Improvement (3.52 of total 5.0), which means partial success or failure. The enablers of e-Government projects are good strategy formulation, and internal and external drive, whereas main failures of e-Government are weak ICT infrastructure. The areas for improvement are project management, design, competencies and funding. Data analysis highlights both strengths and weaknesses for each factor or variable. In particular, Kenyan government excels at the drive for change by top to bottom government officers as well as external stakeholders, while the government officers who are using e-Government are satisfied with the availability of vision, strategy and plan of e-Government implementation. Both technologies and e-transactions laws were the worst of all the variables in e-Government implementation. Two areas should be improved using immediate corrective action. In-depth study reveals that government officers and citizens can't fully use their laptop and mobile devices due to the lack of both ICT network and its operating technology, and legal system associated with the transaction of business information. Finally, the study ends up with recommendations for policy makers to shape the future of e-Government system in both developing and developed countries.

국내 OSC가 활성화되기 위해서는 설계 및 엔지니어링, 공장제조, 현장조립 등 각 단계별로 적용되는 기술의 혁신도 중요하지만, 기존 건설 생산방식과 차별화되는 관리 및 운영방식의 개발도 필요하다. 하지만, 현재 국내에서 진행되고 있는 OSC 관련 연구는 공법 개발과 같은 기술개발 측면의 연구가 주를 이루며, OSC 프로젝트의 성공을 위한 관리 방안 도출과 관련한 연구는 미진한 실정이다. 따라서, OSC 프로젝트의 핵심성공요인의 명확한 이해에 기반한 프로젝트 관리 방안 도출에 대한 연구가 요구되는 바이다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 해외에서 선행된 OSC 프로젝트의 성공요인과 관련한 다수의 연구들을 분석하여 국내 OSC 프로젝트의 성공적 관리를 위한 핵심 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 통해 향후 국내에서 확산될 OSC 프로젝트의 성공 가능성 제고에 기여하고자 한다.

In today's worldwide environment, information systems (IS) usage is growing swiftly. As a result, it now affects every aspect of life and serves as a general growth tool for individuals, groups, and governments. information system success (ISS) is affected by customer satisfaction and their acceptance of using these services. In addition, this issue will be a critical thing for SMEs, especially in Saudi Arabia. SMEs have a shortage and lack IT experience and resources. The research's question is What are the ISS that will improve customer satisfaction and SME performance in Saudi Arabia. Through an online survey, The data on how Saudi SMEs succeed in IS was acquired. Citizens and residents users in Saudi Arabia, representing a range of ages and educational backgrounds. In the IS success factors evaluation, which assessed the degree of agreeability and disagreeability of specific statements related to the six dimensions based on the empirical data, it was found that the users agreed with the majority of the claims. For users, usability is the most important feature. This study discovered that enhancing the system's overall user experience might lead to higher overall satisfaction.

본 연구의 목적은 괴사된 미성숙 영구치의 재생근관치료 시 성공에 영향을 미치는 결정적 인자를 평가하고자 함에 있다. 미성숙 영구치의 치수괴사로 진단된 환자 중 재생근관치료를 시행하고 1년 이상 경과 관찰한 증례로서 46개 치아가 선택되었다. 이를 대상으로 성공률과 관련된 변수로서 나이, 성별, 초진 시 치근발육단계, 치수괴사 원인, 치료과정, 임상 및 방사선학적 결과를 조사하고 관련성을 통계 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 치근발육단계는 재생근관치료의 성공률에 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 치수괴사 원인은 치외치, 우식, 외상 순으로 성공률이 높았으며 유의한 차이가 있었다. 근관내 멸균 시 국소적 항생제를 적용했을 때 높은 성공률을 보이며 통계학적 유의차를 보였으며, double과 triple antibiotic paste간에는 유의차가 없었다. 재생근관치료의 성공률을 높이기 위해 치수 괴사 원인, 특히 외상 증례에 있어 신중한 적응증 판단이 선행되어야 하며, 적절한 항생제 적용이 필요하다.

Business intelligence has been attracting much attention these days. Despite such popularity of BI systems, it is widely known that about a half of BI system projects have failed. To grasp why many BI projects end in failure and what factors would make BI projects less failure-prone, a number of BI studies were made to produce a variety of CSFs. However, there is a paucity of information on whether these CSFs are distinctive from those of typical information systems. By identifying how BI CSFs differ from CSFs of typical information systems, we would be able to explain why most BI projects are more likely to be failure. It is believed that a corrective measure about CSFs will lead to more success in future BI projects. In addition, though there have been a number of similar types of BI systems such as decision support systems and executive information systems in existence, there was no study to determine whether there is ever a discrimination between CSFs of BI systems and the similarly-titled systems. This study is to answer these questions using a literature review analysis. The findings of our study are expected to be helpful in a successful implementation of BI systems.

프랜차이즈 레스토랑의 성공을 위한 연구는 그동안 많이 이루어졌다. 본 논문은 대형화되고 있는 프랜차이즈 레스토랑의 주요성공요인에 대한 연구로서 프랜차이즈 레스토랑의 마케팅, 판매를 위한 기초자료를 경영자에게 제공될 수 있다. 연구에서는 성공적인 프랜차이즈 레스토랑 경영을 위한 고객의 만족도와 프랜차이즈 레스토랑의 성공을 위한 성숙도를 예측하였다. 연구 결과, 레스토랑의 메뉴, 분위기, 접근성 면에서는 요인의 중요성에 비례하여 상당한 수준에 도달하여 고객이 크게 불편을 느끼지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 브랜드, 서비스, 음식, 가격, 규모 등 요인은 고객의 만족도가 높지 않은 것으로 나타나 향후 프랜차이즈 레스토랑 산업의 성공을 위해 보완해야 할 분야라고 판단된다. 또한 프랜차이즈 레스토랑의 성공을 위한 요인의 성숙 예측 시점은 대부분 5년 미만인 것으로 나타났다.

Purpose - Along with the rapid growth of the economics and IT industry, E-commerce appears as the next potential area of world economics. For this no-entity shops commerce style, logistics is crucial for the success of E-commerce. Research design, data and methodology - In this paper, Dangdang.com, the largest online marketplace in China, is studied and a conceptual model is present, to develop a practical way to develop the logistics system in E-commerce situation. Results - This research finds that following 4 factors are critical success factors for E-commerce logistics: 1) logistics centres are very important to control the inventory management; 2) keep good cooperation with third-party logistics (3PL) can guarantee good quality shipping service and also can reduce delivery costs; 3) build strong information system; 4) quick response system also needed for an efficient logistics system. When E-commerce firms are developing their logistics systems, they should pay more attention to these 4 critical success factors. Conclusions - In summary, successful 3PL management is vital for competing regionally and globally throughout the logistics value chain. We see information system as an enabler in logistics management to get the right products to the right place in the right quantity at the right time and to provide quality services to satisfy the customer's needs.

한정된 예산으로 다수의 건설 사업을 동시에 수행해야 하는 공공토목건설부문에서 건설사업의 수행성과에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 따라서 기획예산처의 자율평가제도, 건설교통부의 사후평가제도와 같이 공공사업 성과 평가제도가 도입되었다. 그러나 국내실정과 상이한 외국의 유사 정책 및 제도를 그대로 도입하는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 공공건설사업의 성공적인 성과평가를 위한 기초 연구의 일환으로 공공건설사업의 성과분야를 결정하고 성과분야 간 중요도를 제시하였다. 이를 위해 건설분야 전문가에게 설문조사를 하여 AHP를 활용하여 가중치를 결정하였다. 그 결과 건설전문가들이 직관적으로 생각하고 있는 건설성과의 중요도와 AHP 결과 도출된 중요도가 상이함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 건설주체별(발주사, 시공사, 감리사, 설계사)로 건설성과의 중요도를 비교하였다. 이를 통해 각 주체들이 건설사업의 성공적인 수행이라는 하나의 목표로 각자 노력을 기울이고 있지만, 중요시하는 성과분야는 상이함을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 문제를 사전에 예방하기 위해서는 공공사업 초기단계부터 공동의 노력이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
