항공사 승무원의 일중독이 직장-가정갈등, 삶 만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 제주항공 대상으로 (A Study on the Effect of Workaholism on Work-Family Conflict, Satisfaction of life in Airline Crew : Focused on Jeju Air)

  • Purpose: The purpose of study is to understand the effect of Airline industry employee's workaholism on Work Family conflict and Satisfaction of Life. Methods: The research method of this paper is to analyze data which was collected from 328 female cabin crew at airline located in Jeju Air. Results: The results of this study are summarized be summarized as follows: First, Work Obsession as the subordinate variables of workaholism positively affect Work Family conflict, but Work Enjoyment and Commitment of Work negatively affect work family conflict. Second, The results showed that had the higher level of Work to Family conflict than that of Family to Work conflict. Both directions had a negative impact on life satisfaction. Conclusion: Work Enjoyment and Work Commitment of variable workaholic had the higher level of Work to Family conflict than that of Family to Work conflict. So, it is important to make efforts to promote Work Enjoyment and Work Commitment of workaholic with resolving Work Family conflict in married managerial women by families and corporations.

어업노무관리에 관한 조사연구 - 근해어업을 중심으로 (On the Problems of Labor Management in the Adjacent Seas Fishing Industries)

  • This is the report of a study carried out during the months of April to July in 1974, on the fisheries in regard to its labor management. At here the word of adjacent seas fisheries in Korea denotes the fisheries carried out by fishing boats for one or two boats trawling, purse seinning, shrimp trawling, and whale catching. For the objective of this above study the auther randomly selected 257 crew-members for the questionaires and direct interviews and, with this method, proceeded surveys and investigations on the following factors such as the organization and its functions, personel administration in regard to placement and merit system, regulations and rules of working, wages and salaries, welfare facilities or considerations, safety and sanitation, human relations within organization and cooperation, and thus covered the whole important factors with the modern management system. The results of the studies are; The factors above the standard level are only on those of organization and functions, merit system and placement and human relations and for the rest the judgement are to be laid as below the standard level. And particularly revealing the problems on the following factors; 1) Wages and salary particulary on the payment upon laid out, and the payment of wages in advance. 2) Welfare facilities such as of the insurance and crew members' welfare for the good use of leisure time. 3) Placement and merit system in regard to ite method of appointing or empioying 4) Regulations and rules of working in regard to the vacation or leave of absence. 5) Safety problem particularly on the matter of sanitation or hygene. 6) Coopertion on the matter of participation on the interested problems on both parties. The above points indicated are, methinks, all derived out of the out dated method of management. Therefore, for the improvement of the labor management, first of all, nothing is more urgent than to adopt the modern labor management method as well as to encourage and enlighten the social responsibilities burdened on the enterprise.

응급의료전용헬기 항공간호사의 항공이송업무분석 (The Analysis of the Flight Nurses Activities in Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS))

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to describe Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and analyze the flight nurses' activities in HEMS. Methods: Data were collected retrospectively from the air transportation reports that contained data of 168 patients transported by aircraft to G University medical center in Incheon since June, 2012 to March, 2013. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and Mann-Whitney U test. Results: Average distance of flights was 44.0 km, duration of field treatment took 13.6 minutes, and duration of a flight from scene to hospital was 14.5 minutes. Nursing activities were categorized into 12 direct nursing activities and 5 nursing management activities, and a total number of 7806 nursing activities were occurred in HEMS. The most frequently performed nursing activity was measurement and monitoring (27.9%) followed by medication (11.5%) and respiratory management (8.7%). The most frequent nursing management were information management (11.0%). Nursing activities performed were significantly different depending on the patient's level of consciousness, cause of illness, crew configuration, and type of transportation. Conclusion: This study described HEMS nursing activities performed by flight nurses. Difference in nursing activities according to patient characteristics, crew configuration and type of transportation requires flight nurses to be prepared through educational programs to improve nursing activities and nursing management during air transportation.

우리나라 해운산업의 경쟁력 실태분석 (A Study on the Situation Analysis for Competitive Advantage Power of Korean Shipping Industry)

  • The development of Korean shipping industry is maybe defined into three development stages-industry fixing stage, industry coordinating stage, industry development stage-. The development of shipping industry has been depended on the geovernment/authority role such as shipping policy, system, law, rules and regulations. In 1983, Korean shipping industry reorganization and coordination by shipping authority have made our shipping industry on the stable condition together with each company's efforts. Today's world economic environment such WTO/UR negotiation results get this government role limited. According to the being reduced government role, each company's competitive advantage power becomes more important. Besides, korean shipping industry is exposed into the entire and bitter world competition. In order to win and prevent the world shipping competition, it is necessary to look out the competitive advantage power of Korean shipping industry. The first purpose of this study is the situation analysis for competitive advantage power of Korean shipping industry. The second is to compare with our shipping policies with foreign ones concerned with ship, cargo, crew, tax and others. But in order to compare with foreign shipping, this study need their shipping statistics data, this study has some limit of the foreign data. This study has been carried on the basis of the following items. 1. Shipping environment, 2. Ships and ship acquirement(shipbuilding/purchasing), 3. Oceangoing cargo and ship's stowage rate, 4. Human factor in shipping-crew, 5. The incomes and costs in finacial statements. We have some conclusions as following through the this study. First, Korean shipping industry environment-competitive disadvantage situation- has changed rapidly due to the shipping market opening, free market entering of foreign shipping. Second, Korean shipping is disadvantageous due to the high tax rate and financing conditions in connection with ship acquirement. In order to improve the competitive advantage power, the shipping tax system and ship financing conditions should be reviewed to profitable for owners. Third, but both world and Korean oceangoing cargoes quantity have been increased annualy, Korean ship's cargo stowage rate is being decreased. This is serious situation but Korean shipping take well use of foreign vessel with hire. It is recommended to take use of owner's vessel and hired ones in the long range view, considering the world shipping management. But the number of crew has been decreased by 2, 000~3, 000 annualy, it is desirable that the long sea-experienced crew have been increased. Almost of owners usauly complain the crew cost is the main obstacles to competitive advantage power. Human factor is the most important firm's asset. All owners should pay attention to this though, and invest the proper budget to training, education, welfare as much as possible. In the long run this effects could be feedback to owners. Fifth, We must improve the financial statements structure, that is, the first step is to increase income, the second is to decrease cost, the third is to increase income on the same cost, the fourth is to decrease cost on the same income. It is essential to find out what the urgent investment is and what unnecessary cost is. At last, in order to competite world shipping race, each shipping firm must try for himself to retain the power. The government/authority is no longer dependable. I believe that each firm's power will be the industry's power, the industry's power will be the nations's power.

외국인 갑판부선원을 위한 직업목적 한국어 교육과정 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Occupational Purpose Korean Language Curriculum for Foreign Deck Crews)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 연근해상선에 승선중인 외국인 선원을 위한 직업목적 한국어 교육과정을 개발하고자 하는 연구이다. 근년에 들어 한국인 선원인력 부족을 보충하기 위해 외국인 선원의 고용이 급격하게 늘어나고 있다. 이에 따라 한국인과 외국인이 함께 승선하는 혼승 선박에서의 의사소통 및 이문화 적응이 주요 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 외국인 선원이 한국 선박에 보다 빨리 적응할 수 있도록 현재 외국인선원관리지침에서는 외국인 선원의 한국어교육을 의무화 하고 있다. 그러나 의무 교육 시간이 매우 짧고 체계적으로 개발된 교육 자료가 부재한 실정이다. 따라서 제한된 시간 내에서 외국인 선원들에게 업무에 가장 필요한 한국어를 효과적으로 교육시킬 수 있는 방안과 교육 자료가 시급하다고 할 수 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 외국인 선원들이 업무를 수행할 때 필요한 한국어 내용을 도출하기 위하여 DACUM법이라는 직무분석 방법을 실시하였다. 먼저 기존의 외국인 선원 대상 한국어교육 자료를 분석한 후, 이를 바탕으로 직무분석 위원회를 구성해 워크숍을 진행하여 외국인 선원의 직무를 분석하여 목록화하였다. 이후 연근해상선에 승선 중인 외국인 선원들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여, 위원회가 만든 각 직무의 중요도와 빈도를 조사하여, 최종적으로 외국인 선원에게 꼭 필요한 직업목적 한국어 교육과정을 개발하였다.

A Study on the Introduction of Quality Management System for Improving the International Competitive Power of Shipping Companies in Korea

  • The paper reviews briefly of the codes above, together with the effects of the successful introduction of the QMS into the shipping industry. This paper suggests a conceptual prototype for a quality management system (QMS) of seafaring labour, which itself would be a sub-system of the total quality management (TQM) system in a shipping company, on the basis of the ISM and the ISMA Codes, ISO 9002, ISO 9004, and other quality management guidelines. The QMS is essential for the survival of the Korean shipping industry. It will contribute not only to assuring the quality of crew, but also, consequently, to increasing the international competitive edge of the shipping companies in Korea.

효과적인 응급대응을 위한 소형선박의 위치기반 스마트케어시스템 (Smart Care System on a Small Boat for an Effective Emergency Service)

  • 기존의 선박 모니터링 시스템은 선박을 운항할 때 위치를 파악하거나 응급시 발생한 구조신호에만 대응하는 한계를 갖고 있다. 더구나 5톤 이하의 소형 선박은 인프라의 부족한 환경 때문에 그마저도 시스템을 도입하기 어렵다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 선박과 선원을 용이하게 모니터링 하는 소형선박용 위치기반 스마트케어 시스템모델을 제안하였다. 이것은 평상시나 응급 시에도 생체정보 전송단말로 선원의 생체정보를 지속적으로 전송하여 선원 개개인을 모니터링 할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 GPS센서와 자이로센서를 탑재한 지능형 중계기기로 선박의 응급상태를 실시간으로 모니터링 하는 응급대응력도 높이는데 기여한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 제안한 시스템을 전송단말, 중계기기, 관리시스템으로 각각 구현하고 시스템의 유용성을 평가하기 위해 3가지 실험을 하였다. 즉, 98%의 생체정보의 전송성공률과 98%의 선박의 응급상태 인지율을 실험을 통해 제안한 시스템의 유용성을 확인할 수 있었다.

소방공무원 현장안전을 위한 무선통신망 운영에 관한 연구 (A Study for the Management of the Wireless Communication for Safety of Firefighteer in Fire Scene)

  • 본 연구는 2012년 11월 2일 02시경 인천광역시 부평구 (주)이랜드월드 화재진압 도중 소방공무원 1명이 순직한 사고에 대해서 현장조사를 실시하여 현장진입대원과 현장안전 점검관 간에 안전여부를 확인하는 의사소통 수단인 무선통신(무전기)에 대한 문제점과 개선방안을 도출하였다. 연구결과 화재현장에서는 각종 소음이 심해서 대원과 현장안전 점검관 간에 육성으로는 의사소통이 곤란하고 무선통신에만 의존할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 인천소방안전본부에서 사용하고 있는 무전기와 주파수의 운용에 대해서 조사하였다. 또한 군과 경찰과도 비교해 보았다. 연구시험결과 인천소방안전본부에서 보유하고 있는 무전기와 주파수를 효과적으로 운용하면 현장안전점검관이 각종 재난현장에서 목숨을 걸고 화재나 인명구조 활동을 하는 대원의 안전여부 확인하는 의사소통을 원활히 할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

선박조직 구성원의 속성신뢰가 집단응집성 및 조직유효성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Swift Trust on the Cohesiveness and Organizational Effectiveness of Ship Organization)

  • 본 연구는 해운기업 선박조직의 특수한 환경을 고려하여 선박조직의 구성원들의 속성신뢰가 집단 구성원간의 상호호의적인 태도인 집단응집성과 조직시민행동 및 선박조직의 유효성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석해 보고자 하였다. 실증분석 결과, 속성신뢰가 집단응집성에 통계적으로 유의적인 정의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 집단응집성은 조직시민행동과 조직몰입 및 직무만족에 통계적으로 유의적인 정의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 선박조직 구성원의 속성신뢰가 조직시민행동과 조직몰입 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 있어서 집단응집성이 부분매개 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 선박조직의 개별 구성원 태도와 행동보다는 선박단위별로 속성신뢰, 집단응집성, 조직시민행동, 직무만족 및 조직몰입의 수준을 측정하고, 이들의 영향력 관계를 분석함으로써, 선박별 인력관리 및 인간관계 측면의 관리방안을 모색하도록 하였다.

Fundamental Research for Video-Integrated Collision Prediction and Fall Detection System to Support Navigation Safety of Vessels

  • Marine accidents caused by ships have brought about economic and social losses as well as human casualties. Most of these accidents are caused by small and medium-sized ships and are due to their poor conditions and insufficient equipment compared with larger vessels. Measures are quickly needed to improve the conditions. This paper discusses a video-integrated collision prediction and fall detection system to support the safe navigation of small- and medium-sized ships. The system predicts the collision of ships and detects falls by crew members using the CCTV, displays the analyzed integrated information using automatic identification system (AIS) messages, and provides alerts for the risks identified. The design consists of an object recognition algorithm, interface module, integrated display module, collision prediction and fall detection module, and an alarm management module. For the basic research, we implemented a deep learning algorithm to recognize the ship and crew from images, and an interface module to manage messages from AIS. To verify the implemented algorithm, we conducted tests using 120 images. Object recognition performance is calculated as mAP by comparing the pre-defined object with the object recognized through the algorithms. As results, the object recognition performance of the ship and the crew were approximately 50.44 mAP and 46.76 mAP each. The interface module showed that messages from the installed AIS were accurately converted according to the international standard. Therefore, we implemented an object recognition algorithm and interface module in the designed collision prediction and fall detection system and validated their usability with testing.
