  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 신용장결제방식의 한계성을 극복하면서 전자상거래시대에 부합되도록 최근 개발된 TradeCard의 본질, 업무절차 및 효용성을 분석하고 TradeCard의 폭넓은 활용을 제한하는 문제점과 해결과제를 구체적으로 제시함으로써 무역실무자들에게 TradeCard의 기본원리를 제공해줌을 목적으로 한다.

신용카드 매출정보를 이용한 SVM 기반 소상공인 부실예측모형 (SVM based Bankruptcy Prediction Model for Small & Micro Businesses Using Credit Card Sales Information)

  • The small & micro business has the characteristics of both consumer credit risk and business credit risk. In predicting the bankruptcy for small-micro businesses, the problem is that in most cases, the financial data for evaluating business credit risks of small & micro businesses are not available. To alleviate such problem, we propose a bankruptcy prediction mechanism using the credit card sales information available, because most small businesses are member store of some credit card issuers, which is the main purpose of this study. In order to perform this study, we derive some variables and analyze the relationship between good and bad signs. We employ the new statistical learning technique, support vector machines (SVM) as a classifier. We use grid search technique to find out better parameter for SVM. The experimental result shows that credit card sales information could be a good substitute for the financial data for evaluating business credit risk in predicting the bankruptcy for small-micro businesses. In addition, we also find out that SVM performs best, when compared with other classifiers such as neural networks, CART, C5.0 multivariate discriminant analysis (MDA), and logistic regression.

신용카드 추천을 위한 다중 프로파일 기반 협업필터링 (Collaborative Filtering for Credit Card Recommendation based on Multiple User Profiles)

  • Collaborative filtering, one of the most widely used techniques to build recommender systems, is based on the idea that users with similar preferences can help one another find useful items. Credit card user behavior analytics show that most customers hold three or less credit cards without duplicates. This behavior is one of the most influential factors to data sparsity. The 'cold-start' problem caused by data sparsity prevents recommender system from providing recommendation properly in the personalized credit card recommendation scenario. We propose a personalized credit card recommender system to address the cold-start problem, using multiple user profiles. The proposed system consists of a training process and an application process using five user profiles. In the training process, the five user profiles are transformed to five user networks based on the cosine similarity, and an integrated user network is derived by weighted sum of each user network. The application process selects k-nearest neighbors (users) from the integrated user network derived in the training process, and recommends three of the most frequently used credit card by the k-nearest neighbors. In order to demonstrate the performance of the proposed system, we conducted experiments with real credit card user data and calculated the F1 Values. The F1 value of the proposed system was compared with that of the existing recommendation techniques. The results show that the proposed system provides better recommendation than the existing techniques. This paper not only contributes to solving the cold start problem that may occur in the personalized credit card recommendation scenario, but also is expected for financial companies to improve customer satisfactions and increase corporate profits by providing recommendation properly.

  • This paper examines consumer problems and issues of credit card use. The cases of credit card problems were from a civil consumer organization called Green Consumers Network in Korea. This paper focused on over five concerns, including credit card issuing, lost or stolen card settlements, vendor fee charging to customer, withholding payment in case of unsatisfactory purchases, and abusive debt collecting practices. Some solutions for the consumer problems were suggested.

  • 신용카드는 기능면에서 현금과 유사하게 사용되어지는 지불수단으로서 이를 이용하는 사용자가 지속적으로 증가해 왔다. 인터넷 및 전자상거래의 발전에 따라 신용카드는 지급결제 수단으로서의 역할이 더욱 증대되었다. 그러나 정보의 집중화 및 온라인화로 인하여 발생하는 위험 또한 급격히 증가함에 따라 신용카드의 부정사용 역시 증가하고 있다. 부정사용의 유형별로는 카드사와 금융당국의 대응방안 마련으로 도난 분실은 감소하고 위변조와 명의도용이 증가하고 있다. 최근 개인정보유출과 간편결제 시행에 따른 금융보안규제 완화로 카드 부정사용에 대한 소비자의 불안감이 커지고 있고 카드 부정사용의 증가는 사회적 비용을 초래할 뿐만 아니라 신용시스템에 대한 금융소비자의 신뢰를 떨어뜨리므로 이에 대한 대책이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 카드 운영 체계의 보안문제점을 살펴보고 부정사용을 방지할 수 있는 방안으로 IC단말기로의 조속한 전환, 새로운 보안기술의 도입, 당국의 관리 감독 강화 등을 제시하고자 한다.

신용카드 부가서비스 요율 분석 방법론에 대한 연구 (A Study on Cost Rate Analysis Methodology of Credit Card Value Proposition)

  • Purpose: It is to seek for an appropriate cost rate analysis methodology of credit card value propositions in Korea. For this issue, it is claimed that methodologies based on probability distribution is more suitable than methodologies based on data-mining. The analysis model constructed for the cost rate estimation is called VCPM model. Methods: The model includes two major variables denoted as S and P. S is monthly credit card usage amount. P stands for the proportion of usage amount at special merchants over the whole monthly usage amount. The distributions assumed for P are positively skewed distributions such as exponential, gamma and lognormal. The major inputs to the model are also derived from S and P, which are E(S) and the aggregate proportion of usage amount at special merchants over the total monthly usage amount. Results: When the credit card's value proposition is general discount, the VCPM model fits well and generates reasonable cost rate(denoted as R). However, it seems that the model does not work well for other types of credit cards. Conclusion: The VCPM model is reliable for calculating cost rate for credit cards with positively skewed distribution of P, which are general discount card. However, another model should be built for cards with other types of distributions of P.

  • 신용카드사용이 증가하는 만큼 금융사고 또한 증가하고 있다. 자기 띠 카드 방식은 신용카드 정보가 평문으로 노출되고 사용자 인증 또한 허술한 취약점으로 인해 향상된 보안성을 제공하는 스마트카드 방식으로 전환되는 추세에 있다. 또한 최근에는 IT와 금융상품을 접목한 핀테크 (FinTech) 열풍이 불면서 대면거래환경에서도 카드가 아닌 모바일 기기들을 기반으로 하는 결제 기법들이 많이 제안되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 카드 소지자 모바일기기를 기반으로 카드 소지자의 공개키를 이용해 생성하는 가상카드번호를 카드사에 사전 등록함으로써 대면거래환경에서 PKI와 인증서 없이 효율적으로 사용자를 인증하여 편의성을 증가시키면서도 신용카드 정보에 대한 보안성을 제공하는 가상카드번호 결제 기법을 제안하고 대면거래환경에서 보안성을 제공하는 대표적인 신용카드 결제 방식인 EMV 기법과 비교 분석 해 보도록 한다.

  • The Purpose of this study were to examine the relationship between the motive of revolving credit card in the use of credit and financial management. The Samples were composed of 239 housewives in Seoul. The data were analized using frequency, percentages, and multiple regression. The major findings are summarized of follows : 1) Two-thirds of repondents used credit card over optimum standards. 2) Although the level of the motive of revolving credit in the use of credit card was not high, it was negative to financial management in the case of low-income household. 3) The contents of consumer education has to provide according to a different income class.

A Study on u-paperless and secure credit card delivery system development

  • In the past, when the credit card was delivered to the customer, the postal agreement and receipt were signed by customer. The repossessed documents were sent back to the card company through the reorganization process. The card company checks the error by scanning and keeps it in the document storage room. This process is inefficient in cost and personnel due to delivery time, document print out, document sorting, image scanning, inspection work, and storage. Also, the risk of personal data spill is very high in the process of providing personal information. The proposed system is a service that receives a postal agreement and a receipt to a recipient when signing a credit card, signing the mobile image instead of paper, and automatically sending it to the card company server. We have designed a system that can protect the cost of paper documents, complicated work procedures, delivery times and personal information. In this study, we developed 'u-paperless' and secure credit card delivery system applying electronic document and security system.

시력 취약 계층을 위한 신용 카드 번호 인식 연구 (Credit Card Number Recognition for People with Visual Impairment)

  • 일반적인 신용카드 번호 인식 시스템은 정해진 위치에 카드를 배치했을 때에만 올바르게 동작하도록 설계되어 있다. 본 논문은, 저시력 장애인을 포함한 시력 취약 계층에게 보다 쉬운 사용자 경험을 제공하기 위해, 신용카드 내 16자리 숫자의 종횡비 특징을 이용한 자동 번호 인식 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 형태학 연산을 통해 종횡비가 4:1 이상인 이미지 후보군을 찾고, 각각의 후보에 OCR과 BIN 번호 매칭 기술을 적용하여 신용카드 번호를 획득한다. OpenCV 및 Firebase ML에 기반한 실험 결과, 카드를 정해진 위치에 두지 않아도 77.75% 정확도로 카드 번호를 인식하였다.
