To this end, we first summarized the concept of creative village, which has been discussed in Japan and the West. Also, based on the relationship between them, we proposed a revitalization model of creative villages through the culture and arts. In this process, the concept and relationships were examined in detail through the example of Miryang Theater Village in Miryang. In addition, this study analyzed the problems of Miryang Theater Village and applied it to the concept of creative village and suggested an alternative. Through this process, we reconsidered the meaning and possibility of cultural arts in the creative village. And, it was confirmed that the cultural arts could be realized through the balance and organic linkage between the elements of creative villages in order to localize them in combination with the regional specificity of rural areas.

Second, learning through constant self-reflection is necessary for the villagers. It is important to make community programs and residents' small meetings to facilitate reflection. In community buildings, the process of communication and consultation for villagers is more important. The process that creates a new value of the village in the learning process takes place. Third, talented village people who can develop the village should be educated. This is a virtuous circle for Village Development. Aging in rural areas has been deepening, which will affect the future of local communities that can meet in accordance with various crises and responses. • This article explores religious responses to significant cultural and social change in a northern Vietnamese delta village from 1996 to 2008-the second decade after de-collectivization. Drawing upon extensive fieldwork in both the village and surrounding religious networks, the article teases out the meanings of the new religious movements for northern rural people in the new era of market economy; the symbols, language, and metaphoric resources people used in response to their uncertainty and mistrust of the new social landscape; and the unintended consequences of rapid societal development such as marginalization, tensions, and social disintegration. The article argues that as in milleniarism elsewhere, new religious movements in northern rural Vietnam embody unorthodox syncretism between world religious and local traditions, thus linking past, present, and future. However, when drawing upon a common reservoir of memories and experiences to cope with risks and challenges of the new market world, local people not only drew on the power and imperial metaphor of deities in their traditional religion and belief, but became more creative to recuperate meanings, standards, and symbols from revolutionary discourse to reorient themselves, and overcome alienation and marginalization.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the plan reflecting the place in cultural regeneration was implemented and whether it was a change of place in culture through culture analyze. Mullae-dong has changed its urban structure into a textile factory, a manufacturing industry, an ironworks+artistic complex, and the Mullae art factory has been organizing a festival that has been created by artists and residents alike in the Mullae creative village. However, prior to the creation of the Mullae art factory in the social element, self-sustaining programs of Mullae creative villages were derived, but now commercial space is mainly derived. Therefore, it is necessary to plan for coexistence of ironworks, cultural space and commercial space rather than expanding into commercial space. Geumcheon-gu Geumcheon-gu Geumcheon Art Factory has become an integrated complex where various industries coexist in industrial complex. Geumcheon Art Factory also holds an artist support program every year and actively works as an international creative exchange center in Seoul. However, programs that act as a mediator are not implemented since 2014, and the Open Studio stops once a year. Therefore, Geumcheon-gu needs to expand programs that can include local programs and programs that can be combined with local cultural media.
