Geography as a field of learning had its beginnings among the scholars of ancient Greece. The emergence of modern Geography was much due to the collection and classification of information about overseas areas. Today, world regional geography, which may be called area studies in other social sciences, is regarded as an introductory geography course in many American universities. World regional geography, however, has been much neglected by Korean geographers. Many factors have made Korean geographers not concentrate their efforts to area studies. The exterior factors include the great expenses for the area studies' fieldworks, and the many geographers' involvement in the writing of geography textbooks and atlases for school students. The interior factors include all the ethno-centric, mysterious, and authoritarian perspectives a large number of Korean geographers strongly stick to.

This study explores the effectiveness and applications of event collection programs, which are integrated programs with event experience and collection experience as a cooperation model that combines school education and library resources as course-related materials. For the purpose, a triangulated analysis with both quantitative and qualitative data was conducted. As a result, This study examined an event collection program's effectiveness which were positive effects on the participated students' reading and perceptions on the roles of their school libraries. The event collection supported the students to self-construct their knowledge by exploring information with the provision of a collection with various materials on a topic, which would be hardly provided within the traditional library subject classification, and that the event collection program could be a useful tool for self-directed reading due to its promotion of interaction, sharing, and participation among materials and the participated students by functional factors of experiential marketing.

This paper presents the problem of the feature extraction techniques that has been used a content-based analysis, classification and retrieval in audio data and proposes a course of the preprocessing for a new contents-based retrieval methods. Because the feature vector according to sampling value changes, the existing audio data analysis is problem that same music is appraised by other music. Therefore, we propose waveform information extraction method of PCM data for retrieval audio data of various format to contents-based. If this method is used. we can find that audio datas that get into sampling in various format are same data. And it may be applied in contents-based music retrieval system. To verity the performance of the method, an experiment was done feature extraction using STFT and waveform information extraction using PCM data. As a result, we could know that the method to propose is effective more.

On the basis of introducing the development process of Chinese nature reserve since first nature reserve was set up in 1959 in China, and comparing the definition of nature reserve between IUCN and China, combining with the objectives and significance of the establishment of Chinese Nature Reserve, the present state and achievements of nature reserve in China were introduced detailedly. And the effect of the laws and rules on the protection in nature and biodiversity was assessed after analyzing the characteristics of the interrelated laws and rules enacted in course of development of Chinese nature reserve over 50 years. Also the qualifications and procedures of nature reserve establishment and relevance aspects of content in China were narrated, and the classification system and management system of Chinese nature reserve and their characteristics were introduced. Finally, the Medium and Long Term Program for Nature Reserve Development in China was introduced, and present some proposals to solve the problems on the basics that discuss the distribution status and its characteristics and problems on managing nature reserve in China.
The Characteristics of space are determined by several factors; however, the element that determines the physical characteristic of floors, walls, and ceiling is the structure. This study constructs a wall to analyze the direct effect that the layout of an exhibition wall has on the element of the wall followed by the structural process and visibility of descriptive analysis and examples of art museums that the shift from a perceptional wall to an experiential wall affected circulation. For elements and formation methods of the wall, first, it is made up of open and closed type exhibition spaces, and it can give abundance in qualitative space rather than a quantitative aspect. Secondly, the directivity of space changes according to the development of the visible axis, thus, directly affects the change in visibility. Thirdly, the difference between spatial structure and visual structure is the difference between the visual axis and spatial structure. The wall formation type followed by the combination method, the simple visible structure, which is the type that possesses the simple combination (Room, Zone, Cluster), repeatedly uses the same size of units of space that is orderly and has few spatial axes and the classification of simple type and simple cluster type, which has few visible axes, also exists. Also, with the complex structure of the maze type it displays the reiterated form of the cluster, which is the space with disorderly combination and has much visible axes and spatial axes. Also, these can be divided into three types: 1) Maze Cluster Type, 2) Cross Road Type, and 3) Open Flexible Type. These wall types lead the various changes in circulation, and even each of the arrangement qualities of the exhibitions should be researched according to its exhibition place type.

Today, the problem of interrational competition has been strongly appeared and as the deflation is deep occasionally, it is sure that granting autonomous motivation of businessman or importance of self development is proposed especially. Then, which subject is included in granting autonomous motivation as that\ulcorner We must study about that subject first. First, we should study about essence of granting autonomous motivation. Granting autonomous motivation is the course of accompli¬shment of ideal human individually. Secondly, we will divide that into goal, desire and positive attitude subjectly and will study about those respectively. Contents of this theory are as below. 1. Proposal of problem 2. Basic structure of granting autonomous motivation and ability 2-1 Consideration of granting autonomous motivation 2-2 Basic structure of ability 3. The method of granting autonomous motivation 3-1 Simulation of granting autonomous motivation 3-2 Establishment of subject on granting autonomous motivation 4. Granting autonomous motivation by utilization of opportunity 4-1 Utilization of opportunity 4-2 Self-development by reading 4-3 Self development by writing 4-4 Self-development by discussion 4-5 Self development by control of health 4-6 Self-development by making the time 5. Conclusion This theory will be developed by classification as above. Reflecting many times and experiencing a skill for himself, he should teach his men the skill. There are some men not to be able to talk with, but a businessman should make his surroundings cheerful with granting autonomous motivation. If he understands the men of his surroundings with his positive attitude, all tasks of him will be achieved. Formation of question consciousness that he can study always, is needed on which is the important task in himself.
Objectives : This study was designed to examine the effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on cerebral infarction. Methods : Fifty-five patients with acute or subacute cerebral infarction were classified into two groups, the study group and control group. The study group was treated by hyperbaric oxygen therapy(HBOT) for 2 weeks(5 times/week) and the control group wasn't treated by HBOT. We compared the score of National Institutes of Health Scale(NIHSS scale) between two groups. We subdivided the study group by TOAST classification and onset stage, and compared the results. All of this data was analyzed by statistical method. Results : The study group patients who were treated by hyperbaric oxygen therapy saw more improvement than the control group patients in NIHSS score, and there was significant consideration. Among the study group patients, we saw more improvement during the first week period than in the course of the second week, and there was significant consideration. Conclusion : These results suggest that hyperbaric oxygen therapy(HBOT) could be a useful medical treatment to treat cerebral infarction. Further studies are needed on more cases to make sure that hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is surely effective for cerebral infarction.

This study examined an instruction method for the improvement of information processing abilities in elementary school students. Current elementary students are required to develop information processing abilities to create new knowledge from this information flooded age; however, there is a shortage of instruction strategies for these information processing abilities. This research proposes a method for information processing ability based Barrow's problem-based learning model, and was applied to real elementary students. Students developed an improved ability to create new knowledge and to present relationships with information through the process of problem solving. This study performed experimental research by comparing pre- and post-tests for twenty-three fifth grade elementary students over the course of eight months. This study produced a remarkable improvement in information selection, information reliability, information classification, information analysis, information comparison, and information internalization.
UNGI(運氣) theory is one of the most important theory in Oriental medicine. But it's so difficult to adapt to real medic. Long time ago many Oriental Physicians disscussed this with other physicians, UNGI to Oriental Medicine, and so still now. Remarkably, it is important as a basic theory itself, UNGI exist as a special medic. We can see that in the book of ‘五運六氣韓醫學寶鑑’, ‘運氣演繹方藥篇’ and other such kind of books. The special thing is we can predict each man's disease through the date of his birth. And more, we can make out prescription for each person's health. In addition, by knowing his date of birth, we can calculate his date of pregnancy, and with the same way, we can also predict and prescript that he can be protected from his fateful disease. But, the way like this can make Oriental medic an astrology and a superstition. So I studied on this and concluded as follow, 1. UNGI theory is important in the Oriental Medicine not only in basic but on diagnosis and attendance. 2. Mechanical abuse in the past, make UNGI theory unbelievable. But Liu Ha-gan(劉河間) studied so deeply, and knew the right way to applicate UNGI theory on Oriental medic. 3. It is not logical the pregnant day counted thru birthday, so we have to percept this an abstract idea. And it founded detail way to count the pregnant day. 'UNGI' as a medical system, by knowing his birthday we can predict and prevent his fateful disease. Of course, I cannot find such substances in Neijing, and classic books on Oriental medicine. So queer at a glance, but clinically it has some valuable meanings. However, There's little to prove its foundation. It is similar to astrology, we cannot define its base. The problems we have to trace and find out.

The study aims to figure out pre-service elementary teachers' knowledge understanding on 'stratum and rock' as well as teaching-learning types on the same topic. A total of 65 seniors in an advanced science education course at B University of Education joined the research to fulfill the purpose above. With PCK classification framework, the study examined pre-service teachers' knowledge understanding on 'stratum and rock' while it analyzed how the teachers would teach the given topic to students. The results of the study are presented as follows. First, it was observed that the pre-service elementary teachers have a great understanding on 'stratum and rock' that would be taught via a science textbook for elementary fourth graders. However, regarding terms in 'shale and limestone', they appeared to have a relatively short understanding. Second, PCK elements of the pre-service teachers related to 'stratum and rock' were analyzed and according to the results, the teachers would be interested in teaching model selecting in the teaching-learning strategy field while they would be well aware of how important it is for them to perform an experiment in a teaching process. The teachers also appeared to understand that the teacher question can be mutual complementary during class. However, it turned out that the teachers would have a very much low understanding on learners' prior knowledge as they particularly believe that learning could be significantly affected by the learners' perception level as well as their learning interest and motive. Third, the pre-service elementary teachers were told to design teaching plans on 'stratum and rock' so that the study could find out what learning-teaching methods the teachers would adopt to teach the topic. It was learned that the teachers would proceed with the class basically by giving the learners a descriptive explanation on the topic and also by using pictures and drawings to enhance the learners' understanding during the class.
