The purpose of this study is to suggest a necessity and development of radiation counsellor qualifications system for the public to solve the anxiety and the curiosity about radiation exposure. We analyzed the definition and role of radiation counsellor and define radiation counsellor qualifications system. Qualification is given to those who have completed the professional training course organized by Korea Energy Information Culture Agency (KEIA). Since 2014, KEIA has been conducting radiation counsellor training, Examination and certification. This system continues to promote efforts to disseminate and develop the right knowledge about radiation risk and information of radiation risk to the public. Also, it is thought that radiation counsellors could be able to fulfill the roles needed in society through legislation for the mandatory placement of radiation counsellors.

This study presented the role of the counselor's transitional object through literature research, focusing on Winnicott's theory. In the process of development, infants experience anxiety when they move from absolute dependence to relative dependence with their mother. In this way, the counselor's role as an transitional object buffers separation anxiety and depressive anxiety about the loss experience, and mediates from the omnipotent fantasy to the real world. transitional objects are new objects and have a function of contributing to adaptation in reality. And it leads to the stage of separation and individualization through transitional object and transitional phenomena. It can be said that he acquires a sense of the real other that exists in order to create and destroy omnipotent, and to adapt to reality. A good enough mother makes the child's omnipotence meaningful. In this case, the true self helps the infant's weak self to grow and lead him to live his own life. When the mother fails to satisfy the infant's needs, her fantasies and spontaneous impulses are lacking. In other words, when the mother fails to reflect the infant's needs, the infant looks at her mother's mood, giving up her true self and creating a false self. The pathology of the absolute dependence phase is caused by the failure of a good enough mother's empathy and nurturing environment. At this time, the child experiences the collapse of the omnipotence illusion and experiences annihilation anxiety. Therefore, effective counseling can be carried out when providing a comfortable and stable environment by reducing separation anxiety and depressive anxiety of clients through the role of the counselor's transitional object in the counseling field.

Purpose: This study presents the process of designing workbooks for advance care planning appropriate for the Korean cultural setting and describes actual case studies. Methods: This study focused on single inductive case studies of the utilization of an advance care planning workbook and recruited individual participants. Results: The workbook for adolescents contained six sessions and the workbook for children contained seven sessions. The workbook sessions led to four major discoveries: 1) considering the Korean cultural context, discussions on life and death must be held indirectly; 2) the role of the counselor as a supporter is crucial for the workbook to be effective; 3) the workbook must be accessible regardless of the seriousness of the illness; and 4) patients must be able to make their own choice between the workbook versions for children and adolescents. Six facilitating factors improved engagement: 1) the role of the counselor as a supporter; 2) building trust with the patient; 3) affirming freedom of expression on topics the patient wished to avoid talking about; 4) having discussions on what private information to keep secret and to whom the information can be disclosed; 5) discovering and regularly discussing relevant topics; and 6) regular communication and information-sharing with the patient's medical service providers. Conclusion: It is necessary to build on actual case studies regarding workbooks for children and adolescents in order to expand the usage of these workbooks to all relevant medical institutions in Korea.

This study aims to develop one-stop support service for the ALS. To achieve the purpose, the cases of Korea and Japan were researched. The data used in the multiple-case study mainly referred to diaries, blogs, social networking sites, Youtube, and interviews of the disabled with ALS disease in Korea and Japan, and analyzed support services of both countries. The result of the study showed that, in the onset stage of ALS disease, a fellow counselor should be assigned by family member or person who experienced the disease from KALSA or other organizations to which a patient belongs. Also, it need a counseling by fellow counselor in the stage of softening disability. And after the gastrointestinal procedure, the number of home visits by visiting nurses should increase, and other services by OT and PT are required. In the stage of wearing a respirator, it needs to train and dispatch volunteers for ALS exclusive activities. And it is necessary to set up a family rest area or a respite service for the mentally and physically exhausted primary caregiver by long-term care. Most of all, these services should be one-stop support with linking step by step, not fragmentary support.

Recently, as the expansion of the metaverse accelerated due to the spread of the non-face-to-face trend after the COVID-19 pandemic, various metaverse platforms using it have appeared. In this study, we propose research and development of a virtual reality spatial psychological counseling service platform utilizing the advantages of metaverse. A counseling service platform was developed through virtual reality hardware including Unity 3D game engine and Head Mounted Display. Counseling participants create and participate in their own avatars, and counseling facilitators respond to the situation and environment of the counseling target in various virtual environments. It was attempted to improve the efficiency of the counseling service by allowing the space and counselor avatar to be selected. Furthermore, various interactions were implemented, and development was carried out so that it could be extended and utilized for social activities such as group counseling and general meetings and presentations. In the future, through additional research and development, we will prove the practical effectiveness of the psychological counseling service platform developed by conducting clinical trials under the support of psychological counseling experts and participation in actual counseling.

The purpose of this study is to analyze current state of education departments in Korean universities and to find out ways to help education major students shape their future career. The findings of the study are as follows. First, the comparative analysis of the current state of education and education-related departments showed that average employment rate of education departments in 2011 was 35.0%, whereas that of related departments was 56.6%, which showed a significant difference. Second, education courses were specialized in areas such as lifelong educator qualifications, teaching certificates in morality/ethics, corporate HRD(human resource development), etc. in case of education departments. In case of education-related departments, education courses were specialized in areas such as teaching certificates in pedagogy, lifelong educator qualifications, license of school counselor, corporate HRD, etc. Though there were many overlapping areas, specialization was relatively more common and diverse in education-related departments. Next, to help students shape their future career, developments in specialized career courses, new career fields, and career education models were suggested. To give shape to the progress plans, the development of standard education courses for student careers, the introduction of certification system about course specialization, and search for the career path of teaching profession which allows utilization of the knowledge of education were suggested.

This study examined ethical dilemmas experienced by child-counselors and coping behaviors they practiced in context. The analysis was performed for 30 child-counselors in Seoul and Kyunggi-do, Participants were asked to describe a self-report in an interview with the main researcher. Data were categorized, quantified and examined in terms of five ethical dimensions derived from antecedent research. The five ethical dimensions are "confidentiality and protection of privacy", "professional competence", "informed consent", "informing clients of the nature of treatment modality", and "adequacy and effectiveness of treatment". This study contributes basic data for the development of an inventory for the measurement of ethical practice for child counselors.

Through the close examination of characteristics of adolescent, social institutions and its programs, and newly added and expanded library reference services. it is founded that new role and qualifications of young adult reference librarians are prerequisite subject. The following are the summary of new role and qualifications of specialized young adult reference librarianship. 1. Adequate training and education for the YA librarians is needed in order to have understanding of their characteristics (physiology, psychology, personality etc.). 2. Because of librarian's unique exposure to human relations and their personal awareness of other people's need, YA librarian should bring a person-centered managerial technique. 3. Librarianship may not have a clinical counseling function but to provide right answer or information, the librarian become counselor inescapably. 4. Librarians are not professionally trained to be experts on counseling in sex education. However, librarians can play an important role in educating YA by committing book selection, reader's advisory, referral services, library programming and staff development planning.

This study designed, implemented, and evaluated a Biblio-Counseling program for elementary school children. Procedures included 20 60-minute sessions by counselor, 18 20-minute sessions in class by teacher, and 5 20-minute sessions at home by parents. The program was administered to 23 third grade elementary school children. Data were analyzed by frequency, mean, and paired t-test, using SPSS program packages. Results showed significant before and after differences in the degree of self-esteem. Besides, the children reported increased positive expression in class and decreased peer neglect and rejection at school. Children, parents and teacher expressed high satisfaction with the program. These results suggest that the multi-faceted approach as designed and implemented in this study is effective in promoting self-esteem, interpersonal growth, and relationship between child and parents.

In this paper, we propose a portable art therapy content. The proposed content makes counseling clients get a psychical cure at least cost regardless of time and place Counseling clients express their psychological state as pictures through the proposed content. And Counselors analyze and interpret the figures based on the database which is built into the server system. Due to the development of advanced technologies, various adjustment disorders and addictions have increased in the rapidly changing modern society. This causes the increase of counseling clients who want a psychical cure. And also counseling time, counseling place and counseling cost are emerging as a social issues. Psychotherapy specialists use the proposed content at the stage of the psychoanalysis which needs a lot of time and effort. The proposed content exploits the sever system to make the right decisions quickly and accurately. Counseling clients who are the medical underprivileged get visit consultation and online consultation can detect a psychological high-risk in an early stage and prevent this psychological high-risk. Preventive treatment service using the proposed content will make the social and medical cost savings.
