In this paper, we propose a method to reduce the fire suppression time. Our suggestions can secure a safe area according to the diffusion path and speed of the fire, forest fire prediction minimize casualties and property damage forests. The existing path prediction method wildfire spread predict the wildfire spread model and speed through topography, weather, fuel factor and the image information. In this case, however, occur to control a large mountain huge costs. Also Focus on the diffusion model predictions and the path identified by the problem arises that insufficient efforts to ensure the safe area. In this paper, we estimate the moving direction and speed of fire at a lower cost, and proposes an algorithm to ensure the safety zone for fire suppression. The proposed algorithm is a technique to analyze the attribute information that temperature, wind, smoke measured over time. According to our algorithm forecast wildfire moving direction and ensure the safety zone. By analyzing the moving speed and the moving direction of the simulated fire in a given environment is expected to be able to quickly reduce the damage to the forest fire fighters.

For mobile application, semiconductor packages are increasingly moving toward high density, miniaturization, lighter and multi-functions. Typical wafer level packages (WLP) is fan-in design, it can not meet high I/O requirement. The fan-out wafer level packages (FOWLPs) with reconfiguration technology have recently emerged as a new WLP technology. In FOWLP, warpage is one of the most critical issues since the thickness of FOWLP is thinner than traditional IC package and warpage of WLP is much larger than the die level package. Warpage affects the throughput and yield of the next manufacturing process as well as wafer handling and fabrication processability. In this study, we investigated the characteristics of warpage and main parameters which affect the warpage deformation of FOWLP using the finite element numerical simulation. In order to minimize the warpage, the characteristics of warpage for various epoxy mold compounds (EMCs) and carrier materials are investigated, and DOE optimization is also performed. In particular, warpage after EMC molding and after carrier detachment process were analyzed respectively. The simulation results indicate that the most influential factor on warpage is CTE of EMC after molding process. EMC material of low CTE and high Tg (glass transition temperature) will reduce the warpage. For carrier material, Alloy42 shows the lowest warpage. Therefore, considering the cost, oxidation and thermal conductivity, Alloy42 or SUS304 is recommend for a carrier material.
Pleurotus eryngii(King oyster) is one of the most promising mushrooms produced on the domestic farms. The quality as well as quantity of Eryngii is sensitively affected by micro climate factors such as temperature, relative humidity, $CO_2$ concentration, and light intensity. To safely produce high-quality Eryngii all the year round, it is required that the environmental factors be carefully controlled by well designed structures equipped with various facilities and control systems. At the commercial mushroom cultivation house(A,B), this study was carried out to find out reasonable range of each environmental factor and yield together with economic and safe structures influencing on the optimal productivity of Eryngii. this experiment was conducted for about two-month from Nov. 11, 2002 to Dec. 30, 2002 in Eryngii. cultivation house-A, B. Ambient temperature during the experiment period was not predominantly different from that of a normal year. The capacity of the hot water boiler and the piping systems were not enough. Maximum air temperature difference between the upper and lower growth stage during a heating time zone was about 2~3$^{\circ}C$. The max. and min. relative humidity were ranged approximately 60~100%, and average relative humidity was ranged approximately 80~100%. And $CO_2$concentration increased until maximum 1,600~1,800 ppm with the passing growing period. The illuminance in cultivation house was widely distributed from 20lx to 160 lx in accordance with position, and it was maintained lower than the recommended illuminance range 100~200 lx. The average yield per bottle was about 67~85g. But the optimal productivity will be evaluated by considering the quality and quantity of mushroom production, energy requirements, facility construction and management cost, etc.
The cloud service has become the significant factor to save the IT operation cost and to improve the productivities in companies. It was introduced to Korea for enterprise services of major companies in 2008. As the increase of recognition for its effect, more small businesses and public institutions plan to introduce the cloud computing services. The cloud computing researches have only focused on the security threats and response technologies to them. Therefore, this research analyzed the importances of responses to security threats in specific domains. The domains were divided into managerial, physical, and technical security. The specific factors in three domains were used for the analysis in this research as well. The ordered logit model was used for the analysis and the analysis results showed that physical security and managerial security are considered to be significantly important in the cloud computing security. The results also presented that the security policy, the control and surveillance to service infrastructure, and application security are highly important in the respect of specific factors. This research will contribute to enterprises or institutions in Korea, which want to introduce the cloud computing services, by aiding the establishment of effective security strategies.
The purpose of this study was to find the characteristics of travel behavior and accessibility in terms of spatial structure. We analyzed travel behaviors and accessibility using a mode choice model and the Complementary Accessibility Index(CAI). The urban spatial structures that were compared were a compact city (CC) versus a sprawled city (SC), and high residential density districts (HD) versus low residential density districts (LD). First, CC and HDs residents had a shorter commuting distance than the CC and LDs residents. Second, behavior models showed that the use of Private cars for commuting in SCs was found to be greater than private car use in CCs, and that public transportation modes would be encouraged in CCs. Third, changes associated with the time and cost of commuting by private car generally affect the demand for public transportation modes in the CC. Also, analysis of cross elasticity suggests that changes of subway travel time affect the demand for buses very elastically. Fourth, the CAI of SC and LD were superior to the CC and HD even though the SC inefficient urban forms in terms of spatial structure. So, the spatial distribution of population density was also found to be an important factor affecting accessibility and energy savings.
In order to determine reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) when the submerged membrane bioreactor with granular sulfur (MBR-GS) is used in wastewater treatment plant (WTP), the amount of GHGs was compared and analyzed in the advanced treatment process of P wastewater treatment plant (WTP). The amount of GHGs was estimated by classifying as construction and operation phase in WTP. The amount of GHGs in construction phase was evaluated from multiplying raw materials by using carbon emission factors. Also the amount of GHGs in operating phase was calculated by using total electricity consumption and carbon emission factor. The construction of anoxic tank and secondary settling tank is unnecessary, because the MBR-GS conducts simultaneously the nitrification and denitrification in aeration tank and filtration by hollow fiber membrane. The amount of $CO_2$, $CH_4$, and $N_2O$ emitted by constructing the MBR-GS was 6.44E+06 kg, 8.16E+03 kg and 1.38E+01 kg, respectively. The result shows that the GHGs was reduced about 47 % as compared with the construction in the MLE process. In operating the MBR-GS, the electricity is not required in the biological reactor and secondary setting tank. Thus, the amount of $CO_2$, $CH_4$, and $N_2O$ emitted by operating in the MBR-GS was 7.39E+05 kg/yr, 5.80E+02 kg/yr and 2.44E+00 kg/yr, respectively. The result shows that the GHGs were reduced about 37 % as compared with the operation in the MLE process. Also, $LCCO_2$(Life Cycle $CO_2$) was compared and analyzed between MLE process and MBR-GS. The amount of $LCCO_2 $emitted from the MLE process and MBR-GS was 3.56E+04 ton $CO_2$ and 2.12E+04 ton $CO_2$, respectively. The result shows that the GHGs in MBR-GS were reduced to about 40 % as compared in the MLE process during life cycle. As a result, sulfur-utilizing autotrophic denitrification process (SADP) is expected to be utilized as the cost-effective advanced treatment process, owing to not only high nitrogen removal efficiency but also the GHGs reduction in construction and operation stage.
Background: Transmyocardial laser revascularization(TMLR) for revascularizing ischemic myocardium in patients was originally based on the assumption that laser channels remain their patency much longer. But recent studies show that laser channels did not remain open and that TMLR could achieve treatment benefits without long-term channel patency. The angiongencesis is currently thought to be induced by non-specific inflammatory response to mechanical tissue injury. This study is to evaluate hypothesis that various transmyocaridal mechanical revascularization(TMMR) may induce the angiogenic responses similar to that seen with TMLR, and transmyocaridal polymer stent revascularization(TMSR), the polymer stent in the myocardial tissue is hydrolyzed in 2 weeks, may enhance the non-specific inflammatory reaction resulting angiogenesis. Furthermore, polymer myocaridal stent channels remain long-term patency. Material and Method: Eight domestic pigs underwent ligation of the proximal circumflex artery, and 2 weeks later they were randomized to undergo transmycardial acupunctural revascularization (TMPR, Group I) of the left lateral wall with 18-G needle(n=2), to undergo transmyocardial (TMDR, Group II) with industrial 2mm steel drill(n=2), to undergo transmyocardial polymer stent revascularization (TMSR, Group III) after drilling the infarcted myocardium(n=2), the stent is poly(lactic acid-co-glycolic acid), which is self-degradated in the myocardium, and to a control group the ischemic zone was unterated(n=2). All the pigs were sacrificed after 4 weeks TMMR. Sections from the ischemic zone were submitted for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) ELISA and histology. Result: There were makedly increase in the VEGF immunoassay in the ischemic zone of the TMMR group compared to the ischemic zone of the control group(control: each 30.85 and 43.15pg/mg protein, TMPR: each 44.14 and 68.61 pg/mg protein, TMDR: each 65.92 and 78.65 pg/mg protein, TMSR: each 177.39 and 168.87 pg/mg protein). TMSR channels caused greatest VEGF expression than channels made by other group and the polymer stent channels remained vacuole after 4 weeks. Conclusion: Transmyocardial polymer stent revascularization promoted the most angiogenci response by the VEGF immunoassay, although our study did not show the statistical significancy. The channels remained but the flow patency was not verified. Transmyocardial polymer stent revascularization (TMSR) is desirable in future experimental trials and in view of the significant cost implications comparable to that of laser.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the engineering properties of concrete for the early strength development. As a result of reviewing it by establishing each experimental factor and level, the cement had more excellent quality performance in CHC and HESPC than OPC. This study has shown that the PC series admixture was more excellent in side of elapsed time (aging) and early strength development than PNS series admixture. In addition, there was much difference according to the curing temperature, but the early strength development showed the considerable vulnerability in curing temperature below $12^{\circ}C$. To satisfy the strength requirements of 5 MPa/18 hr this study has shown that it needed the curing temperature over $17^{\circ}C$ to the minimum in OPC, over $14^{\circ}C$ in CHC, and over $11^{\circ}C$ in HESPC. On the other hand, as to the strength properties according to W/C, the less W/C was, the more strength development was excellent. If this study is to be used in construction filed on a basis of this result, this researcher is considered as possible of the economic execution of construction by advancing the early strength and by the reduction of construction cost according to shortening construction duration.
Background: Concrete activation in cyclotron vaults is a major concern associated with their decommissioning because a considerable amount of activated concrete is generated by secondary neutrons during the operation of cyclotrons. Reducing the amount of activated concrete is important because of the high cost associated with radioactive waste management. This study aims to investigate the capability of the neutron absorbing materials to reduce concrete activation. Materials and Methods: The Particle and Heavy Ion Transport code System (PHITS) code was used to simulate a cyclotron target and room. The dimensions of the room were 457 cm (length), 470 cm (width), and 320 cm (height). Gd2O3, B4C, polyethylene (PE), and borated (5 wt% natB) PE with thicknesses of 5, 10, and 15 cm and their different combinations were selected as neutron absorbing materials. They were placed on the concrete walls to determine their effects on thermal neutrons. Thin B4C and Gd2O3 were placed between the concrete wall and additional PE shield separately to decrease the required thickness of the additional shield, and the thermal neutron flux at certain depths inside the concrete was calculated for each condition. Subsequently, the optimum combination was determined with respect to radioactive waste reduction, price, and availability, and the total reduced radioactive concrete waste was estimated. Results and Discussion: In the specific conditions considered in this study, the front wall with respect to the proton beam contained radioactive waste with a depth of up to 64 cm without any additional shield. A single layer of additional shield was inefficient because a thick shield was required. Two-layer combinations comprising 0.1- or 0.4-cm-thick B4C or Gd2O3 behind 10 cm-thick PE were studied to verify whether the appropriate thickness of the additional shield could be maintained. The number of transmitted thermal neutrons reduced to 30% in case of 0.1 cm-thick Gd2O3+10 cm-thick PE or 0.1 cm-thick B4C+10 cm-thick PE. Thus, the thickness of the radioactive waste in the front wall was reduced from 64 to 48 cm. Conclusion: Based on price and availability, the combination of the 10 cm-thick PE+0.1 cmthick B4C was reasonable and could effectively reduce the number of thermal neutrons. The amount of radioactive concrete waste was reduced by factor of two when considering whole concrete walls of the PET cyclotron vault.
The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of school meal and the satisfaction of students through dietitians' awareness and perception of environment-friendly agricultural products by providing the government, etc. with basic data on them. A survey was conducted on dietitians in the capital area to analyze the level of awareness about environment-friendly agricultural products, followed by a factor analysis, a correlation analysis and a multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows: Dietitians had a high level of knowledge about environment-friendly agricultural products, and there were significant differences with respect to age, work experience, the number of people provided with meals and the cost ratio of foods to agricultural products. The perception of environment-friendly agricultural products was found to have a significant influence upon the level of awareness about the certification system for good environment-friendly agricultural products. In conclusion, there is the need to make the dietitians who take charge of school meal have a higher level of perception about environment-friendly agricultural products, to improve the quality of school meal and the satisfaction of students remarkably and, by extension, to change school parents' perception about the use of environment-friendly agricultural products, which requires a further study to be carried out.
