Purpose : Sasang Constitutional Medicine explains the pathology peculiar to constitution and suggests treatment for each constitution. In Sasang Constitutional Medicine hwnan beings are classified on four groups; Taeyangin, Taeumin, 5oyangin, Soeumin. These four constitution has their's own symptoms and treatments. In treatment, control of mind inclination, that is to say, moderation takes a very important role. But the study on heredity in Sasang Constitutional Medicine has not done not biological study but also statistical study. So we used several statistical methods and analyzed 163 samples. Methods : We implemented Fishers exact test for adjusting chi-squared test, kappa coefficient to estimate agreement of parent's and children's constitutions, and finally plotted bi-plot using correspondence analysis. Results : From Fisher's exact test result, we could know that parent's and children'S constitution's distribution had significant difference. In kappa coefficient, mother and daughter's estimated value produced highest result. In correspondence analysis we only plotted the case of mother and son for easy interpretation. Conclusion : In the study of heredity of SaSang constitution, we cannot know exactly the heredity of constitution in terms of biology or genetics. But this research can be helpful for further analysis, that is, a study of biological or genetical aspects. And we could conclude that in statistical aspects the heredity in SaSang constitution is meaningful.

Korean government is preparing the long-term care financing and delivery system in order to cope with rapid population aging. The system should be designed to provide demented patients with an appropriate services that the patients want to take, and considered to be necessary for them. In this regard, this study aims to analyse empirically a relationship between the types of long-term care services that demented patients wanted to take and they actually received during 2004. The caregivers of 609 dementia patients, who were randomly selected in a manner of proportional allocation from a nationwide claim database of the Korean National Health Insurance Corporation, were interviewed in September, 2005. Independent variables include socio-demographic characteristics, Activities of Daily Living(ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living(IADL). To explore the correspondence of the types of long-term care services that demented patients wanted to take and that they actually received, and its affecting factors, we conducted chi-square test and logistic regression analysis. Main findings are as follows. First, while only 20% of study subjects wanted home services as a long-term care services, those who wanted to use the long-term care facilities and general hospital were 37%, 43% respectively. Second, the correspondence rate was just 38% on average, and extremely low in the demented patients who wanted to use long-term care facilities. Third, the demented patients who resided in urban areas and received relatively high level of education showed high correspondence rate. Fourth, the high ADL score was closely related to low correspondence rate.
2D face analysis has some limitations which are pose and illumination sensitive. For these reasons, even if many researchers try to study in the 3D face analysis and processing, because of the low computing performance and the absence of a high-speed 3D scanner then a lot of research is not being able to proceed. But, due to improving of the computing performance in these days, the advanced 3D face research was now underway. In this paper, we propose the method of building a 3D face model which deal successfully with dense correspondence problem.
This paper deals with the problem of moving object detection and location in computer vision. We describe a new object-dependent motion analysis method for tracking target in an image sequence taken from a moving platform. We tackle these tasks with three steps. First, we make an active contour model of a target in order to build some of low-energy points, which are called kernels. Then we detect interest points in two windows called tracking windows around a kernel respectively. At the third step, we decide the correspondence of those detected interest points between tracking windows by the probabilistic relaxation method In this algorithm, the detecting process is iterative and begins with the detection of all potential correspondence pair in consecutive image. Each pair of corresponding points is then iteratively recomputed to get a globally optimum set of pairwise correspondences.
The relationships between the cover of herbaceous species and 15 soil chemical properties (organic carbon contents, total N, available P, exchangeable K, Na, Ca and Mg, HCl-extractable Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn) in nine poorly controlled waste landfill sites in Korea were examined by correlation analysis and multiple regression equations. Species showed different patterns of correlation between their cover values and soil chemical properties. The cover of Ambrosia artemisiifolia var. elatior, Aster subulatus var. sandwicensis and Erechtites hieracifolia were negatively correlated with the contents of Fe, Mn and Ni within landfill soils. Total cover of all species in quadrats was positively correlated with the contents of Cd and negatively correlated with the contents of Mn and Fe from stepwise regression analysis with 15 soil properties. Canonical correspondence analysis demonstrated that the distribution of native and exotic plants on poorly controlled landfills was significantly influenced by the contents of Na and Ca in soils, respectively.
The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly affected the world, inflicting nationwide lockdowns interrupting conventional schooling through schools, colleges and universities. Educational institutions are struggling to maintain learning continuity through remote learning solutions. Still, the students' perception of this 'new normal' mode and pace of learning needs to be examined to ensure the success of these efforts. This study aimed at examining the perception of higher education students in India and Croatia especially with respect to the association between cultural orientation and the e-learning. The period considered for the data collection was from March 2020 to September 2020. Correspondence analysis was attempted to create spatial maps to depict the respondent choices. Students from both the regions agreed to the high-power distance that existed in their cultures and considered the role of device and content to be an important dimension of e-learning for it to be effective, but the results also pointed out some differences in their choices on other culture dimensions as well as factors affecting e-learning which make this study unique and suggest in-depth future research for conclusive results.
The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for forthcoming liquor development and market diversification by finding out the consumers' characteristics related to their patterns of choosing liquor and identifying the liquor consuming patterns. For the study, a survey questionnaire was composed of 11 questions related to the considerations by the consumers in choosing liquor, 5 questions on their demographics, and 5 questions on the types of choosing liquor. The survey was conducted between October 21st and November 1st of 2007 to 400 adults over 19 years old residing in Korea, and then sorted out 377 out of 400 for the analysis. As for the analysis, frequency analysis, K-means clustering, and correspondence analysis were employed. In order to find out the choice considerations associated with the perception of liquor, consumers were divided into four equivalent groups, and liquor consuming patterns and demographics were investigated based on the empirical study.

This study purports to depict the generational topography of welfare attitudes of Korean people. Three generational groups are made for analytical purpose, 'between 20-39 age group', 'between 40-59 age group', and '60 and older'. Two major statistical techniques are used, the analysis of variance and correspondence analysis. The analysis of variance shows that the respondents' attitudes upon 'social services target(universal vs selective)', 'education', 'housing', 'child-care', 'youth support', and 'employment' varies significantly by age groups. Correspondence analysis also shows that 'between 20-39 age group' is located with proximity with 'child-care', 'employment', and 'housing', while '60 and older' is located with 'poverty' and 'old age life care'. Clearly this study shows that there is generational difference on welfare consciousness in many areas of social policy. Overall, the results show that significant generational differences with regard to welfare attitudes clearly exist in current Korean society.
Business Process Intelligence (BPI) is one of the emerging technologies in the knowledge discovery and analysis area. BPI deals with a series of techniques from discovering knowledge to analyzing the discovered knowledge in BPM-supported organizations. By means of the BPI technology, we are able to provide the full functionality of control, monitoring, prediction, and optimization of process-supported organizational knowledge. Particularly, we focus on the focal organizational knowledge, which is so-called the BPM activity-performer affiliation networking knowledge that represents the affiliated relationships between performers and activities in enacting a specific business process model. That is, in this paper we devise a statistical analysis method to be applied to the BPM activity-performer affiliation networking knowledge, and dubbed it the activity-performer correspondence analysis method. The devised method consists of a series of pipelined phases from the generation of a bipartite matrix to the visualization of the analysis result, and through the method we are eventually able to analyze the degree of correspondences between a group of performers and a group of activities involved in a business process model or a package of business process models. Conclusively, we strongly expect the effectiveness and efficiency of the human resources allotments, and the improvement of the correlational degree between business activities and performers, in planning and designing business process models and packages for the BPM-supported organization, through the activity-performer correspondence analysis method.
The purpose of this study was to classify body types of 800 female junior and high school students based on factor analysis, cluster analysis, and correspondence analysis of 15 photometric measurements of the subjects' lateral body lines. The results are as follows: The skeleton structure, which was represented the back bending by the photometric measurement, was already formed at age of 12 or 13, while the cervical skeleton, the size and inclination of the shoulder, and the degree of the lateral inclination of the upper body and the buttocks continued to grow by the age of 16. A factor analysis of the photometric measurement resulted in the sampling which determined the degree of the back bending, front-bust angle, and lateral view as well as the sampling whose factor represented the cervical inclination. A cluster analysis of the photometric measurement resulted in the four types of classification: Type 1, the straight type comprising 13.3% of the whole population; Type 2, the bent-forward type comprising 39.5%; Type 3, the lean-back type comprising 27.4%; and Type 4, the swayback type comprising 19.1%. Accordingly, the bent-forward type was found to be the dominant type among the four lateral body types.
