감각 조직화 검사를 통한 노인의 균형평가를 위한 기능적 뻗기 검사의 유용성 (Availability of Functional Reach Test for Balance Evaluation of the Elderly Through Sensory Organization Test)

  • Purpose : The purposes of this study were to investigate the age-related difference in balance ability in the elderly over 65 years and to verify the clinical usefulness of the functional reach test (FRT) for balance evaluation of the elderly through the sensory organization test (SOT). Methods : The subjects were forty-six community dwelling elderly people over 65 years old in order to verify the correlation of balance measures and to compare the balance ability. Balance was measured using the FRT and the six sub-equilibrium scores and the composite equilibrium score of the SOT. Pearson's product correlation coefficient was used to evaluate the relationships among these measurements of balance. Results : There was a significant difference in functional reach by age in the elderly (p<.01). There was a significant negative correlation between the FRT and the age of the elderly (r=-.396, p<.01). There was also significant high positive correlation between the FRT and the eye closed sway surface (EC/SS) (r=.789, p<.01), and composite equilibrium score (r=.548, p<.01) of the SOT. Conclusion : Thus, it is possible to use the FRT as a quantitative measure of balance, rather than the SOT, which is more expensive and complicated to evaluate elderly people. According to the results of this study, the use of the FRT is required clinically to objectively measure the balance of elderly people in the future.

굳지 않은 모르타르의 채널 플로와 레올로지 특성의 상관관계 (Correlation between Channel-Flow Test Results and Rheological Properties of Freshly Mixed Mortar)

  • 모르타르를 포함한 건설재료의 작업성은 시공 품질을 결정짓는 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 콘크리트 등 건설재료의 작업성을 정량적으로 표현할 수 있는 레올로지 특성은 상용화된 레오미터를 통해 측정할 수 있지만, 경제적 또는 공간적 제약으로 인해 실제 시공현장에서의 사용에는 한계가 있다. 많은 건설현장에서는 콘크리트 또는 모르타르의 작업성을 평가하기 위해 슬럼프 플로 시험 등을 통해 정성적으로 재료의 시공성능을 평가하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 시공현장에서 간편하게 모르타르의 레올로지 특성을 측정할 수 있는 채널 플로 시험과 레올로지 특성과의 상관관계식을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 VOF기법을 이용한 유동 해석을 진행하였으며, 유동 시뮬레이션 결과를 로그함수 모델로 일반화하여 채널 플로 길이와 정지시간을 데이터베이스화 하였다. 수립된 데이터베이스를 기준으로 최소 자승법을 이용한 회귀분석을 진행하였고, 결과적으로 6개의 매개변수로 구성된 모르타르의 채널 플로 시험 결과와 레올로지 특성의 상관관계식을 도출하였다. 또한, 상용 레오미터로 측정한 레올로지 특성과 채널 플로 실험결과로부터 예측된 레올로지 특성을 비교검증 함으로써 제안된 상관관계식의 현장적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

COVID-19 팬데믹을 경험한 저학년 간호대학생의 스트레스, 사회적 지지가 행복감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Stress and Social Support on Happiness of Low-Grade Nursing Students Who Experience COVID-19 Pandemic)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 COVID-19 팬데믹을 경험한 저학년 간호대학생의 스트레스와 사회적 지지, 행복감의 관계를 확인하고 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고자 함이다. 2022년 12월 18일부터 2023년 01월 5일까지 G시 소재 두 개 대학에 재학 중인 간호대학생 1학년과 2학년 195명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, GamesHowell test, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 행복감은 스트레스(r=-.17, p=.017)와 유의한 음의 상관관계를 나타냈고 사회적 지지(r=.68, p<.001)와는 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 행복감에 대한 영향요인은 사회적 지지(β=.63, p<.001), 학과 만족도(β=-.13, p=.015) 순으로 총 변화량의 49.7%를 설명하였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호대학생의 행복감을 향상시키기 위해서는 사회적 지지와 학과만족도를 높일 수 있는 전략과 프로그램이 필요하다.

Correlation Test by Reduced-Spread of Fuzzy Variance

  • We propose some properties for a fuzzy correlation test by reduced-spread fuzzy variance for sample fuzzy data. First, we define the condition of fuzzy data for repeatedly observed data or that which includes error term data. By using the average of spreads for fuzzy numbers, we reduce the spread of fuzzy variance and define the agreement index for the degree of acceptance and rejection. Given a non-normal random fuzzy sample, we have bivariate normal distribution by apply Box-Cox power fuzzy transformation and test the fuzzy correlation for independence between the variables provided by the agreement index.

  • 본 논문에서는 역해석의 한 형태인 시험데이터 보정기법을 제시하였다. 이 방법을 적용하여 계측이 용이한 온도/압력 데이터로부터 상대적으로 계측이 어려운 유량, 열 전달율 등의 데이터를 도출할 수 있었다. 본 논문에서는 시험데이터 보정기법을 활용하여 발사체 가압시스템으로 널리 활용되는 극저온/고압 헬륨 토출시스템의 예비시험을 통하여 획득된 온도/압력 데이터로부터 유량, 열 전달율을 도출하는 방법 및 결과를 제시한다.

Correlations Among Objective Measurements of Spasticity in Patients With Brain Lesions

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate correlations among objective measurements of spasticity in patients with brain lesions. Thirty-two stroke and traumatic brain injury subjects participated in the study. Spasticity was quantified using the knee first flexion angle, relaxation index obtained from a pendulum drop test, and the amplitude of a knee tendon reflex test. Pearson's product correlation coefficient was used to examine relationships among these measurements of spasticity. There was a significant positive correlation between the relaxation index and knee first flexion angle in patients with brain lesions (r=.895, p<.01). There was also significant negative correlation between the amplitude of knee tendon reflex and relaxation index (r=-.612, p<.01), and between amplitude and knee first flexion angle (r=-.537, p<.01). Thus, it is possible to use the knee first flexion angle as an objective measure of spasticity, rather than relaxation index, which is more complicated to obtain. Further studies are needed to explore the effects of functional improvement and long-lasting carryover effects of spasticity using a simple objective measure such as the knee first flexion angle from a pendulum test.

생체(生體)리듬이 작업성과(作業成果)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effect of Biorhythm to Work Performance)

  • This study aims to investigate the effect of biorhythm to work performance. In order to do this, the data are collected from the manufacturing factory which produce a sportware, and the statistical test are made to testify the relationship between the number of defective items and the biorhythm chart of the workers. The number of defective items which made in the peak day, usual day, and critical day on the worker's biorythm chart are compared with each other, and the statistical test are made to see if there are difference between them, and the correlation analysis are made to see if there is any correlation between the work performance and the biorhythm chart. The result of the statistical test shows that the biorythm of the worker gives an effect to his work performance with a correlation.

정지궤도 위성의 열해석 모델 보정 (THERMAL MODEL CORRELATION OF A GEOSTATIONARY SATELLITE)

  • COMS (Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite) is a geostationary satellite and was developed by KARI for communication, ocean and meteorological observations. COMS was tested under vacuum and very law temperature conditions in order to correlate thermal model and to verify thermal design. The test was performed by using KARI large thermal vacuum chamber. The COMS S/C thermal model was successfully correlated versus the 2 thermal balance test phases. After model correlation, temperatures deviation of all individual unit were less than $5^{\circ}C$ and global deviation and standard deviation also satisfied the requirements, less than $2^{\circ}C$ and $3^{\circ}C$. The final flight prediction was performed by using the correlated thermal model.

  • A pneumatic tire is made up of many flexible filaments of high modulus cord of natural textile, synthetic polymer, glass fiber, or fine hard drawn steel embedded in and bonded to a matrix of low modulus polymetric material. Adhesion property of these materials is very important in tire durability safety because belt-leaving-belt tread separation reduces the ability of a driver to control a vehicle, whether or not the separation is accompanied by a loss of air. In this study adhesion test of carcass-belt-tread is conducted on material properties of 5 PCR tire model, which are on sale in domestic market and analyzed adhesion properties. For those tire models FMVSS 109 indoor high speed durability test is conducted to analyze the correlation between adhesion force and high speed performance of tires and found the correlation between the two test results.
