기후 인자와 관련된 육상 탄소 순환 변동: 탄소추적시스템과 CMIP5 모델 결과 비교 (Response of Terrestrial Carbon Cycle: Climate Variability in CarbonTracker and CMIP5 Earth System Models)

  • This study analyzes the spatio-temporal variability of terrestrial carbon flux and the response of land carbon sink with climate factors to improve of understanding of the variability of land-atmosphere carbon exchanges accurately. The coupled carbon-climate models of CMIP5 (the fifth phase of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project) and CT (CarbonTracker) are used. The CMIP5 multi-model ensemble mean overestimated the NEP (Net Ecosystem Production) compares to CT and GCP (Global Carbon Project) estimates over the period 2001~2012. Variation of NEP in the CMIP5 ensemble mean is similar to CT, but a couple of models which have fire module without nitrogen cycle module strongly simulate carbon sink in the Africa, Southeast Asia, South America, and some areas of the United States. Result in comparison with climate factor, the NEP is highly affected by temperature and solar radiation in both of CT and CMIP5. Partial correlation between temperature and NEP indicates that the temperature is affecting NEP positively at higher than mid-latitudes in the Northern Hemisphere, but opposite correlation represents at other latitudes in CT and most CMIP5 models. The CMIP5 models except for few models show positive correlation with precipitation at $30^{\circ}N{\sim}90^{\circ}N$, but higher percentage of negative correlation represented at $60^{\circ}S{\sim}30^{\circ}N$ compare to CT. For each season, the correlation between temperature (solar radiation) and NEP in the CMIP5 ensemble mean is similar to that of CT, but overestimated.

  • Objectives : This study looked at the relationship between occupational stress and the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP), to evaluate the effect of occupational stress-related factors. Methods : Data was obtained from a cross-sectional survey of 260 local officials in Gangwondo. The research comprised three questions relating to subjective oral symptoms, an occupational stress measurement tool and an oral health impact factor which was composed of questions. The data was analysed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation and path analysis in Amos. Results : Occupational stress had a positive correlation to drinking frequency, Oral symptoms had a negative correlation. And drinking frequency, smoking amount and occupational stress had a positive correlation to oral symptoms. It denoted that drinking frequency, occupational stress and oral symptoms had a negative correlation to OHIP. The path model had an excellent goodness of fit (p=0.07, namely p>0.05). Five 'goodness-of-fit indices' of the model were all above 0.9: GFI=0.987, AGFI=0.952, NFI=0.902, IFI=0.939, CFI=0.934), and its RMSEA was 0.045. Occupational stress and oral symptoms had a firsthand impact on OHIP. In addition, it affected OHIP through the parameters of oral symptoms. Occupational stress exercised a firsthand influence on drinking frequency, drinking frequency exercised a firsthand influence on smoking amount. Smoking amount had a firsthand impact on oral symptoms. Conclusions: Oral health education programs for the development of an improved oral hygiene environment through reduction in drinking and smoking also need to focus on relieving stress by improving workplace culture. In addition, due to good communication is required to reduce occupational stress caused by interpersonal conflict.

광센서를 이용한 서리높이 예측 상관식 개발 (A Development of the Correlation for Predicting the Frost Height in Applying Photoelectric Sensors)

  • 본 연구에서는 KS C 9306에 따른 난방 제상능력 시험조건(건구온도 $2^{\circ}C$/습구온도 $1^{\circ}C$)에서 확대모형이 아닌 실제 열교환기의 전방에 디지탈 현미경과 광센서의 발광부와 수광부를 나란히 설치하여 광센서 출력전압과 서리 높이간의 연관성을 규명하기 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 150개의 실험 데이터로부터 서리높이를 예측할 수 있는 선형 상관식을 개발하여 계산한 결과, 측정값의 54%가 상관식으로 예측한 값의 ${\pm}10%$ 이내에서 일치하였으며 서리 높이가 0.3mm 이상의 실험데이터에서는 데이터의 90% 이상이 ${\pm}10%$ 이내에서 일치하였다. Xiao 등의 상관식과 비교하였을 때 출력전압 변화에 따른 서리 높이의 변화를 나타내는 기울기는 2.3% 오차 범위에서 일치하였으나 Xiao 등의 상관식은 실제 열교환기가 아닌 모사 열교환기를 사용한 이상적인 조건에서 개발되었기 때문에 절편 값에서는 큰 차이를 보였다.

공간적 상관성을 고려한 민수용 도시가스 수요결정 요인 분석 (Analysis of Determinants of Civilian City Gas Demand Considering Spatial Correlation)

  • 최근 도시가스 수요에 관한 연구는 광역별, 지역별로 각 지역 특성을 반영하여 미시적 관점에서 접근하는 경향이 확대되는 추세이다. 이때 인접지역이 가지는 사회구조의 유사성과 공급 인프라의 밀집성은 지역 간 미시적인 관계를 가지는 군집성과 공간적 상관성을 유도한다. 이에 민수용 도시가스 수요에 대해 34개 도시가스사의 관할지역을 기준으로 총 54개의 지역으로 구분한 후 공간 상관성을 분석한 결과 전역적, 국지적 관점에서 양의 공간적 상관성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 2014년 1월부터 2022년 12월까지 54개 지역에 대한 민수용 도시가스 수요를 패널데이터로 구성하여 공간패널회귀분석과 일반 패널회귀분석을 비교하였으며, 오차에 공간적 효과가 존재하는 공간오차모형(SEM)이 가장 적합한 모형임을 도출할 수 있었다. 이는 한 지역의 민수용 도시가스 수요가 인접지역과 유의한 관계가 있음을 확인함으로써 정책적, 실무적 시사점을 제시한다.

  • This study is for analyzing best band in image matching using correlation coefficient of left and right images of stereo image pair, lot red, green, blue band images separated from color aerial photo and gray image converted from the same color aerial photo image. The image matching is applied to construct Digital Elevation Model(DEM) or terrain data. The correlation coefficients and variation by change of pixel patch size are computed from pixel patches of which sizes are $11{\times}11{\sim}101{\times}101$. Consequently, the correlation coefficient in red band image is highest. The lowest is in blue band. Therefore, to construct terrain data using image matching, the red band image is preferable. As the size of pixel patch is growing, the correlation coefficient is increasing. But increasing rate declines from $51{\times}51$ image patch size and above. It is proved that the smaller pixel patch size than $51{\times}51$ is applied to construct terrain data using image matching.

음성모음과 신체의 상관관계 분석 (An Analysis of Correlation between Voice vowels and Human body)

  • 본 논문은 음성진단이나 음성치료를 위한 연구로서 음성과 신체의 상관관계를 분석한 것이다. 음성신호와 함께 신체의 머리와 가슴 그리고 복부에서 음성에 의한 진동파형을 측정하였으며, 이 때 사용한 음성은 모음 '아', '에', '이', '오', '우' 이다. 그 결과 모음에 따라 신체의 특징을 잘 나타내는 성분을 확인할 수 있었으며, 신체질량지수(BMI)와의 상관계수를 측정하여 음성에 의한 신체조건 진단의 활용방안을 제시하였다.

Some models for rainfall focused on the inner correlation structure

  • In this study, new stochastic point rainfall models which can consider the correlation structure between rainfall intensity and duration are developed. In order to consider the negative and positive correlation simultaneously, the Gumbels type-II bivariate distribution is applied, and for the cluster structure of rainfall events, the Neyman-Scott cluster point process is selected. In the theoretical point of view, it is shown that the models considering the dependent structure between rainfall intensity and duration have slightly heavier tail autocorrelation functions than the corresponding independent mode]s. Results from generating long time rainfall events show that the dependent models better reproduce historical rainfall time series than the corresponding independent models in the sense of autocorrelation structures, zero rainfall probabilities and extreme rainfall events.

  • This paper numerically investigates thermo-flow characteristics of offset strip fins to obtain a correlation between heat transfer and pressure drop. The flow was divided into three regimes, i.e. laminar, transition and turbulent. The predicted j and f values from the SST k-$\omega$ turbulence model agreed with previous correlations with the error less than 20% in transition and turbulent regimes. Heat transfer and pressure drop were predicted by varying Prandtl number from 0.5 to 40. The Prandtl number showed little effects on pressure drop but had great effect on the heat transfer characteristics. An overall correlation to predict j was suggested by incorporating the effect of Pr and a new j correlation was suggested for each Pr.

  • Molecular dynamics simulation studies for thermotropic liquid crystalline systems conposed of rodlike molecules with 6 Lennard-Jones interaction sites wre performed in NPT ensemble. Within the range of temperature studied, the system exhibited isotropic and smectic phase. For the characterization of the smectic phase, we examined the structure of the liquid crystalline phase via the radial distribution function, its longitudinal and transverse components to the director, and other orientational correlation function, its longitudinal and transverse components to the director, and other orientational correlation functions. In the smectic A phase, our results showed a large anisotropy in translational motion (i.e.,$D_⊥ >> D_∥$), and the decay of the collective orientational correlation function of rank two became slower than that of the single particle orientational correlation function of rank one. Comments on the spontaneous growth of orientational order directly from the isotropic phase are given.
