보정계수 및 시험체두께가 포러스콘크리트의 기초물성에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Properties of Porous Concrete according to Correction Factor and Specimen Thickness)

  • This study is to analyze the influence of correction factor and specimen thickness on the fundamental properties of porous concrete. Results of this study were shown as follows; 1) As correction factor decrease, compaction time according to correction factor and specimen thickness decrease. Also, though correction factor is same, as specimen thickness increase, compaction time increase. So It mutt be considered that the influence of compaction time according to correction factor and specimen thickness. 2) As correction factor decrease, difference of measured thickness and designed thickness according to correction factor and specimen thickness decrease. Also, correction factor of aggregate of 10~l5mm is smaller than that of 5~l0mm. So It must be considered that the influence of correction factor according to size of aggregate.

다차로도로의 서비스수준 분석을 위한 속도보정계수 개선에 관한 연구 (New Speed Adjustment Factor for Analyzing Level of Service at Multi-Lane Highway)

  • PURPOSES : This study is to develop speed correction factor for more realistic Level-of-Service(LOS) at multilane highway. METHODS : In this study, we compared speed difference the degree of speed reductions in actual multilane road conditions with speed reduction considering speed correction factor presented in highway capacity manual using statistical techniques. And also we presents new speed correction factor analyzing collected data at national highway No.1 (Goyang~Wolrung). RESULTS : The result of analyzing and comparing new suggested speed correction factor with speed correction factor in Korea Highway Capacity Manual (KHCM) shows RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) in new speed correction factor (RMSE 1.5) is much lower than existing speed correction factor (RMSE 13.4). New suggested speed correction can be used for analyzing Level-of-Service at multilane highway. And also we suggests improvements for analysis procedure in analyzing Level-of-Service at multilane highway CONCLUSIONS : As a result of comparing differences, we draw the causes that effect the differences in speed and suggest new speed correction factor that consider traffic volumes. It can be more rational because it uses speed correction factor which can consider more realistic traffic conditions, etc.

  • Switching power supply systems are widely used in many industrial fields. Power factor correction (PFC) circuits have a tendency to be applied in new power supply designs. The input active power factor correction (APFC) circuits can be implemented in either the two-stage approach or the single-stage approach. The two-stage approach can be classified into boost type PFC circuit and dc/dc converter. The power factor correction circuit with a boost converter used as an input power source is studied in this paper. In a boost power factor correction circuit there are two feedback control loops, which are a current feedback loop and a voltage feedback loop. In this paper, the regulation performance of output voltage and compensator to improve the transient response presented at the continuous conduction mode (CCM) of the boost PFC circuit is analyzed. The validity of designed boost PFC circuit is confirmed by MATLAB simulation and experimental results.

공공건축물에 적용되는 신·재생에너지원의 새로운 보정계수 제안 (Proposal of New Correction Factors for New and Renewable Energy Sources in Public Building)

  • The government introduced a mandatory installation system of new & renewable energy for public building to meet the target of greenhouse gas reduction and also suggest a correction factor for new renewable energy to expand the installation of various new & renewable energy systems. The introduction of correction factors, however, was followed by the reduction of installation size of new & renewable energy sources. Assuming that it was caused by a correction factor for each new renewable energy source calculated by the initial costs, this study proposed a new correction factor approach based on payback periods to reflect the technology element in the calculation process of correction factors additionally. The application results of new correction factors show that it was possible to do complex calculations including the economic and technological aspects to select a new & renewable energy system and that the installation size was also enlarged.

Experimental Measurement and Monte Carlo Simulation the Correction Factor for the Medium-Energy X-ray Free-air Ionization Chamber

  • A key comparison has been made between the air-kerma standards of the National Institute of Metrology (NIM), China, and other Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP) members in the medium-energy X-ray. This paper reviews the primary standard Free-air ionization chamber correction factor experimental method and Monte Carlo simulation method in the NIM. The experimental method and the Monte Carlo simulation method are adopted to obtain the correction factor for the medium-energy X-ray primary standard free-air ionization chamber at 100 kV, 135 kV, 180 kV, 250 kV four CCRI reference qualities. The correction factor has already been submitted to the APMP as key comparison data and the results are in good agreement with those obtained in previous studies. This study shows that the experimental method and the EGSnrc simulation method are usually used in the measurement of the correction factor. In particular, the application of the simulation methods is more common.

디지털 설진 시스템의 색상 보정 (Colour Interpolation of Tongue Image in Digital Tongue Image System Blocking Out External Light)

  • Objectives The aim of this study is to propose an optimized tongue colour interpolation method to achieve accurate tongue image rendering. Methods We selected 60 colour chips in the chips of DIC color guide selector, and then divided randomly the colour chips into two groups. The colour chips of a group (Gr I) were used for finding the optimized colour correction factor of error and those of the other group (Gr II) were used for verifying the correction factor. We measured colour value of the Gr I colour chips with spectrophotometer, and took the colour chips image with a digital tongue image system (DTIS). We adjusted colour correction factor of error to equal the chip colour from each method. Through that process, we obtained the optimized colour correction factor. To verify the correction factor, we measured colour value of the Gr II colour chips with a spectrophotometer, and took the colour chips image with the DTIS in the two types of colour interpolation mode (auto white balance mode and optimized colour correction factor mode). And then we calculated the CIE-$L^*ab$ colour difference (${\Delta}E$) between colour values measured with the spectrophotometer and those from images taken with the DTIS. Results In auto white balance mode, The mean ${\Delta}E$ between colour values measured with the spectrophotometer and those from images taken with the DTIS was 13.95. On the other hand, in optimized colour correction factor mode, The mean ${\Delta}E$ was 9.55. The correction rate was over 30%. Conclusions In case of interpolating colour of images taken with the DTIS, we suggest that procedure to search the optimized colour correction factor of error should be done first.

Analytical determination of shear correction factor for Timoshenko beam model

  • Timoshenko beam model is widely exploited in the literature to examine the mechanical behavior of stubby beam-like components. Timoshenko beam theory is well-known to require the shear correction factor in order to recognize the nonuniform shear distribution at a section. While a variety of shear correction factors are appeared in the literature so far, there is still no consensus on the most appropriate form of the shear correction factor. The Saint-Venant's flexure problem is first revisited in the frame work of the classical theory of elasticity and a highly accurate approximate closed-form solution is presented employing the extended Kantorovich method. The resulted approximate solution for the elasticity field is then employed to introduce two shear correction factors consistent with the Cowper's and energy approaches. The mathematical form of the proposed shear correction factors are then simplified and compared with the results available in the literature over an extended range of Poisson's and aspect ratios. The proposed shear correction factors do not exhibit implausible issue of negative values and do not result in numerical instabilities too. Based on the comprehensive discussion on the shear correction factors, a piecewise definition of shear correction factor is introduced for rectangular cross-sections having excellent agreement with the numerical results in the literature for both shallow and deep cross-sections.

PET-CT에서 감쇠보정 영상과 비감쇠보정 영상을 통한 Metal Artifact 보정에 대한 고찰 (Metal artifact SUV estimation by using attenuation correction image and non attenuation correction image in PET-CT)

  • 최근엔 대부분의 PET-CT영상의 감쇠보정은 많은 강점을 가지고 있는 CT를 기반으로 사용하고 있다. 하지만 CT 검사때 metal artifact가 발생하게 된다면, PET 영상에서 영향을 주게 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 감쇠보정 영상의 count와 비감쇠보정 영상의 count의 비를 통하여 보정계수($e^{-{\mu}x}$)을 구하였고 이를 통해 측정 SUV에 대입하여 실제 SUV를 추정하는 방법에 대하여 고찰해보았다. 실험장비로는 본원에서 사용하고 있는 Biograph mCT S(40)_SIMENS을 촬영 장비로 이용하였고, phantom은 micro phantom을 사용하였다. 팬텀 실험방법은 micro phantom에 metal artifact를 발생시켜 촬영한 뒤 감쇠보정 영상과 비 감쇠보정 영상으로 재구성하였다. 그리고 SIMENS 사의 Sygo.via VA11A 프로그램을 이용 감쇠보정 영상과 비 감쇠보정 영상의 count를 측정하고 이를 통해 보정계수를 구하여 Metal artifact 발생 부위와 Metal artifact 발생 직전 부위의 보정계수를 비교 분석해 보았다. 임상영상에서는 본원에 내원한 환자 10명($66{\pm}15$세)의 데이터를 이용하여 여러 장기의 평균 보정계수를 계산하였고, Metal artifact가 발생한 연부조직의 보정계수와 metal artifact가 발생하기 직전의 연부조직의 보정계수를 비교 분석하였다. 분석결과 phantom 실험에서는 밝은 artifact 부분에서의 보정 계수는 Metal artifact가 발생하지 않은 부분에서의 보정계수보다 평균 12%증가 되게 나타났다. 어두운 artifact 부분에서의 보정계수는 발생하지 않은 부분에서의 보정계수보다 6% 감소 되게 나타났다. 또한 phantom 실험결과 본 논문에서 사용한 식을 이용한 추정 SUV가 실제 SUV와 유의미한 차이가 없다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 임상영상에서는 normal 장기의 보정계수를 계산 하였고, 이를 이용한 각 장기의 평균 보정계수를 계산하여 그래프를 작성하였다. 그리고 이 결과 값을 통해 CT number가 큰 조직 일수록 보정계수도 커지는 상호 비례 관계를 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한 metal artifact시 밝은 artifact 부분의 연부조직 보정계수는 metal artifact가 발생 하지 않은 연부조직 보정계수에 비해 평균 20% 증가, 그리고 어두운 artifact 부분은 10% 감소된 것으로 나타났다. 그래프로 작성한 soft tissue 평균값과 비교 하였을 때는 metal artifact가 발생 하지 않은 연부조직에 비해 밝은 artifact 부위는 평균 19% 증가 어두운 artifact 부위는 평균 9% 감소 된 것으로 나타났다. 즉 경우에 따라 각 개인의 보정계수를 계산 할 필요 없이 그래프로 작성한 평균값을 간편하게 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 이와 같이 실험결과로 보아 본 논문에서 제시하였던 감쇠보정 영상과 비 감쇠보정 영상에서의 count의 비를 통해 metal artifact가 발생하지 않는 부위의 보정계수와 발생한 부위의 보정계수를 구하고, 이를 활용하여 측정 SUV에 대입하여 실제 SUV를 추정하는 방법 역시 metal artifact 발생 부위의 더 정확한 정량분석 위하여 고려 해볼 수 있는 대안이 될 수 있을 것이라 사료 된다.

  • In this paper, we design and implement the monolithic power factor correction IC for system power modules using a high voltage(50V) CMOS process. The power factor correction IC is designed for power applications, such as refrigerator, air-conditioner, etc. It includes low voltage logic, 5V regulator, analog control circuit, high-voltage high current output drivers, and several protection circuits. And also, the designed IC has standby detection function which detects the output power of the converter stage and generates system down signal when load device is under the standby condition. The simulation and experimental results show that the designed IC acts properly as power factor correction IC with efficient protective functions.

  • In this paper, we design and implement the monolithic zero crossing detection power factor correction IC using a high voltage 30V BCD process. The ZCD PFC IC is designed for power applications, such as notebook, LCD monitor, etc. It includes power factor correction function and several protection circuit, regulator, high-voltage high current output drivers. And also, the designed IC has restart timer function which the output pulse is generated if the output signal of IC is not in a 200us. The simulation results show that the designed IC acts properly as power factor correction IC with efficient protective functions.
