GB-SAR 간섭기법을 이용한 반사체의 인위적 변위탐지 및 대기습도보정 (Detection of Artificial Displacement of a Reflector by using GB-SAR Interferometry and Atmospheric Humidity Correction)

  • 이 논문에서는 지상용 SAR (GB-SAR) 시스템의 간섭기법을 이용하여 특정 산란체의 인위적 변위를 탐지하고 대기습도보정을 통하여 정확도를 향상시켰다. GB-SAR 자료는 중심주파수 5.3 GHz, 거리 해상도 25 cm, 방위해상도 $0.324^{\circ}$로 모든 편파(HH, VV, VH, HV)에 대해 얻어졌다. 삼각삼면반사체(triangular trihedral corner reflector)를 시스템 전방 160 m 지점에 위치시킨 후 인위적으로 0 - 40 mm의 변위를 주어 측정하였다. 그 결과, 모든 편파에서 실제 변위와 GB-SAR 시스템을 통한 측정 변위의 RMS 오차는 1.22 mm로 나타났으며, 실제변위 40 mm 일 때의 최대 측정오차는 HH편파에서 2.72 mm로 나타났다. 대기 중 습도에 대한 보정을 실시하였고 그 결과, RMS 오차는 0.52 mm로 줄어들었다. 이를 통해 GB-SAR 시스템은 밀리미터 이하의 정밀도가 요구되는 자연산란체나 인공구조물의 변위측정 및 안정성 평가 분야에 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • This paper presents the new method for a six-degree-of-freedom (DOF) motion measurement and those dynamic characterizations in an ultraprecision linear stage using angle sensor-implemented grating interferometry. It consists of a diffractive optical element, a corner cube, four separate two-dimensional position sensitive detectors, four photodiodes and auxiliary optics components. From the previous study, it was confirmed that the proposed optical system could measure a six-DOF motion error in a linear stage. In this article, six-DOF motion dynamic characteristics of the stage were investigated through the step response and with respect to the conditions with a different speed of a slide table. As a result, the natural frequency and damping ratio according to a six-DOF direction was obtained. Also, it was seen that the speed of slide table had an significant effect on a six-DOF displacement motion, especially, X, which was considered as the effect of friction mechanism and local elastic mechanical deformation in a slide guide.

무선 비디오 통신을 위한 피드백 채널 기반의 에러복구 알고리즘의 개발 (An Error Control Algorithm for Wireless Video Transmission based on Feedback Channel)

  • 피드백 채널을 이용한 디코더는 인코더로 전송에러에 의한 오염된 매크로 블록들의 주소를 알려준다. NACK 메시지의 수신으로 인코더는 전송에러가 발생된 프레임의 GOB와 MB를 기준으로 forward dependency를 적용으로 확산된 에러전파영역을 지닌 다음순서의 프레임을 만들어낸다. 이 프레임으로 현재 인코딩 하려는 프레임의 각 MB안에 4-corner에 존재하는 픽셀들에 대한 backward dependency를 적용함으로써 오염된 MB을 찾아낼 수가 있다. 이들 오염된 MB들에 대한 INTRA코딩을 적용함으로써 에러확산을 완전히 중단시킬 수 있다. 이와 같이 빠른 알고리즘의 적용으로 보다 적은 연산량과 보다 적은 양의 메모리 요구를 얻을 수 있다 또한 이러한 장점은 실시간 비디오 전송에 특히 적합하다.

  • Implicit finite element analysis of the flat surface-straight edge hemming process is performed by using a commercial code ABAQUS/Standard. Methods of finite element modeling for springback simulation and contact pair definition are discussed. An optimal mesh system is chosen through the error analysis that is based on the smoothing of discontinuity in the state variables. This study has focused on the investigation of the influence of process parameters in flanging, pre-hemming and main hemming on final hem quality, which can be defined by turn-down, warp and roll-in. The parameters adopted in this parametric study are flange length, flange angle, flanging die corner radius, face angle and insertion angle of pre-hemming punch, and over-stroke of pre-hemming and main hemming punches.

Virtual Simulation of Temperature Distribution throughout Beef Packages with Time-temperature Indicator (TTI) Labels

  • If the time-temperature indicator (TTI) experienced a different temperature than the accompanied packaged food, influenced by heat transfer between the TTI, package, and ambient air, TTI would incorrectly predict the food quality changes with temperature. Temperature distributions of a finite slab with different sizes, representing beef packaged with TTI, were estimated by the finite element method (FEM). The thermal properties of the beef and TTI, such as heat capacity, density, and heat conductivity, were estimated from the relevant equations using their chemical compositions. The FEM simulations were performed for three cases: different locations of TTIs on the beef, different thicknesses of beef, and non-isothermal conditions of ambient air. The TTIs were mounted in four different locations on the beef. There was little difference in temperature between four locations of the TTI on the package surface. As the thickness of the slab increased, the temperature of the TTI changed faster, followed by the corner surface, as well as middle and bottom parts, indicating the possible error for temperature agreement between the TTI and the slab. Consequently, it was found that any place on the package could be selected for TTI attachment, but the package size should carefully be determined within a tolerable error of temperature.

근접노드와 거리변화량분석기법을 이용한 선내 위치인식 개선 알고리즘 (An improvement algorithm for localization using adjacent node and distance variation analysis techniques in a ship)

  • 최근 정보 통신 기술의 발전에 따라 GPS를 이용한 실외 위치 기반 서비스와 더불어 정밀한 위치추적이 필요한 실내 위치 기반 서비스에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 철골 구조로 이루어진 선박은 전파의 회절 및 굴절에 의한 레인징 오차로 인하여 정확한 위치 측정이 어렵다. 이러한 실내 환경에서 발생하는 위치측정 오차를 줄이기 위하여 본 논문에서는 다중경로에 강인하고 자유공간에서 수 센티미터의 오차를 가지는 UWB(Ultra-wide-band)를 이용하여 어떠한 부가적인 센서 없이도 선내 복도와 같은 좁은 통로에 적합한 거리 개선 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 개선 방법은 고정노드 배치로 인한 거리 오차는 피타고라스 이론과 근접노드기법으로 해결하고 복도의 코너 구역에서 크게 발생하는 레인징 오차는 거리변화량분석기법을 적용하여 보정하였다. 실험결과 제안한 방법이 기존의 CSS(Chirp spread spectrum) 방법과 비교할 때 노드 수와 거리오차를 각각 66%와 57.41%로 줄였다.

  • In this study, the analysis was carried out for Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) characteristics of the Cu electrodes by LIGA process. The shape of electrodes has 324 pins for the cavity of BGA(Ball Grid Array) type test socket mold. BGA test sockets are used in the inspection process of the semi-conductor I.C chip manufacturing. In the work, the machining performance for EDM of the electrodes was analyzed on dimensional accuracy and wear rate. The dimensional accuracy was measured for dimension of the pins, pitch size between the pins and the roundness of corner edge using optical measuring machine.

  • Recently the first author and his coworker report a new finite element method for the Poisson equations with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions on a polygonal domain with one re-entrant angle [7], They use the well-known fact that the solution of such problem has a singular representation, deduced a well-posed new variational problem for a regular part of solution and an extraction formula for the so-called stress intensity factor using tow cut-off functions. They use Fredholm alternative an Garding's inequality to establish the well-posedness of the variational problem and finite element approximation, so there is a maximum bound for mesh h theoretically. although the numerical experiments shows the convergence for every reasonable h with reasonable size y imposing a restriction to the support of the extra cut-off function without using Garding's inequality. We also give error analysis with similar results.

Elongation of Contact Length on the Line of Action in Roll Forming of Gears

  • The elongation of contact length on the line of action is considered with particular reference for roll forming of gears, and for dynamic behavior of the tooth in meshing. However there is no paper that discuss the elongation of contact length in the load meshing of gears. Based on our investigation, the contact length on the line of action elongates more than the kinematically calculated value. In rolling, as the tool approaches the workpiece, the center distance of the gears decreases by a small amount. But, the elongation of contact length is sensitive. Therefore, the contact point on the line of action is difficult to be determined, which complicates the tooth analysis. In this study, the exact relation between the elongation of contact length and the tooth space over the recess or before the approach are revealed by experiments and kinematic theory. This analytical result applies not only for rolling, but also for the single flank meshing which is done under constant center distance.

  • This paper presents the algorithm of FIC inspection in chip mounter. When device is mounted on the PCB, it is impossible to get zero defects since there are many problems which can not be predicted. Of these problems, devices with bent corner leads due to mis-handling and which are not placed at a given point measured along the axis are principal problem in SMT(Surface Mounting Technology). In this paper, we proposed a new algorithm based on the Radon transform which uses a projection to inspect the FIC(Flat Integrated Circuit) device and compared this method with other algorithms. We measured the position error and applied this algorithm to our image processing board which is characterized by line scan camera. We compared speed and accuracy in our board.
