The academic library development plan has external importance as it explicitly declares the library's role and development direction. Internally, it is also a library service guideline. To develop the development plan, libraries must understand the trends and needs of international, national, and affiliating universities and their constituents. Accordingly, this research includes case, content, and network analyses of foreign academic libraries' development plans to identify the trends. The analysis results show most foreign academic libraries employed various strategies and plans, which can be characterized as 'collaboration,' 'collection development,' and 'research support.' Consequently, we propose the following factors to consider when developing an academic library development plan: specification of mission, vision, and core values; recognition of core values such as diversity, equity, and inclusion; awareness of the significance of collaboration and partnership with other units within the universities and external organizations; and utilization of university library development plans as tools for achieving management objectives.

This study analysed the long-term plans of academic libraries to raise their usefulness at universities in Korea. Especially, this study focused the evaluation of strategic plans, and drew an evaluation guideline based on the evaluation methods of strategic plan of academic library in foreign countries. This study checked the long-term development plans of academic libraries in Korea, and evaluated how much the core elements of strategic plan are reflected in the long-term plans. As the result, it has come out that there are more characteristics of operation plans as routine services than those of strategic plan as long-term view which contributes to the development of libraries in the long-term plans of academic libraries in Korea.

This study suggested a vegetation restoration plan for a coastal area where the ecosystem conservation fund return project, targeting the whole area of Dalmaji-gil, located in Haeundae, Busan. After distinguishing if it would be a proper site for the operation of the ecosystem conservation fund return project by analyzing the ecological environment, human environment, and the current status of land owners, the target species for vegetation restoration was determined, and the facilities and programs were selected in accordance with the spatial division of the biosphere reserve. The basic direction is as follows. First, is the expansion of green space and the securement of life habitats downtown. Second, is the conservation of core areas by separating the conserved area from the space for use. Third, is the establishment of ecological resting space and the reinforcement of an ecological educational programs. The significance of this study is to suggest a vegetation restoration plan of a coastal area, fully utilizing the existing vegetation of the subject area, by suggesting the land use and flow planning, environmental improvement (vegetation restoration) plan, life habitats establishment plan, planting plan, and hydrologic plan, facilities, maintenance, and monitoring plan based on the basic direction. This study would provide useful basic data for ecosystem conservation and restoration in the Korean Peninsula, surrounded by the ocean on three sides.

This paper reviews the Korean government’s selection process of core wireless communications technologies, and presents technology trends, perspectives and strategies of 5 core technologies to develop in wireless communications areas based on the mid term IT technology development plan(2002∼2004). Delphi Panel Method and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) Analysis were adapted to select 30 core technologies in 9 strategic areas. Especially, 5 core wireless communications technologies out of 24 required technologies are selected: 4 G Core Technology, Broadband Wireless Access Network Technology, IMT-2000 Plus STP Technology, OBP Based Multimedia Satellite Communications Technology, Stratosphere Communications System Technology. Strategic national IT R&D program has been essential to continue success story of CDMA technology, and acquiring technology independency from advanced nations. In long term perspectives, a strategy of intensive investment with prudent selection onto core technologies should be deployed in the IT R&D programs. Also, the national IT R&D programs should be limited in the high risk & high returen areas where only government can afford the failures as well as better spill over effects are expected for the technology development and national economy. Korean industry has some strength in wireless communications technology area. Therefore, more policy concerns should be given into this area not only to secure present strength but also to explore better technology competitiveness.

Just as social welfare facilities and system are the barometers of a nation's quality & standard of living, the facilities of student's union building symbolizes level of welfare facilities and systems of a university. A university is a group of individuals searching for and studying the truth, so it is the highest of all education centers. At the same time, a university builds one's character. this infers that leisure activity in a university is a condition that facilitates the ability to create a healthy body and healthy soul. Additionally, active experiences for a human social life take people away from daily stresses and release the tensions of university studies. Therefore, a university campus should be built not only for students researching and studying, but also to aid in the growth of a students body, soul and mind. When creating a university master plan, increasing the number of students, promotion of a good educational environment and preparation of students for future development should be of primary consideration. There are several factors to aid this. The factors are; the academic plan, leisure activity, the belief system of university student and physical and environmental factors. The research presented here tells us the most important factor for developing the master plan of a student's union building

Objectives: This study aimed to develop dietary education textbooks for elementary school students by focusing on the three core values of environment, health and gratitude from the National Food Education Plan. Methods: The contents of textbooks and teacher's guidebooks were developed with brainstorming of the authors as well as consultation with experts and by considering not only the three core values of environment, health, and gratitude, but also the performance indicators of the 2nd National Food Education Plan and the key competencies and creative convergence approach of the 2015 revised national curriculum. Results: A total of 12 different dietary education textbooks named 'Good Dietary Life Guide' and the teachers' guidebooks from the first to the sixth grade of elementary school were developed. The textbooks were fundamentally developed connecting the three core values, the outcome indices of the 2nd National Food Education Plan and the key competences of the 2015 revised national curriculum. Various educational activities such as thinking, debate, writing, cooperative learning, experience, practice were included to promote students' participation. These books could be utilized in every field of dietary education targeting elementary students such as creative experiential activity, convergent classes (integrated subjects, Practical arts, Social studies, Science, Moral education and Korean), after school classes, rural experience, general agricultural education, after-school child care services and community child care centers. Conclusions: The continuous and repetitive use of the textbooks from the first to the sixth grade would contribute to the improvement of food habits and the personalities of elementary school students, and consequently make the students grow up as healthy citizens.

The automation technology is able to enhance the business process more rapidly and effective. Open BIM technology which supports automation technology of building overcomes the limitations of two dimensions drawings system. The purpose of this study is on the development of open BIM based modules for creating and verifying the core model for super-tall building in the schematic design phase. The module is expected to create cases of core models automatically and it is expected to verify the requirement of building model. This module is anticipated to utilize for creating the core model rapidly in order to create the alternative plan and to make the model accurate by its verification.
