This research aims to figure out the impact of different reflective thinking methods on pre-service geography teachers' teaching knowledge. Four pre-service teachers in the same level were selected through the first simulated instruction, Then, different reflective methods were given them to carry out the reflection. Afterwards, they carried out their second simulated instruction. The change of average score of pre-service teachers was analyzed through the peer reviews and Paired samples T-test. The results are as follows. First, when the first peer review score were compared with second peer review, average score of all pre-service teachers improved. But, pre-service teachers who got cooperative reflection with a specialist had the widest variation in the increase level of average score comparing to those without reflection or reflective journal writing. Second, reflective journal writing through self-reflection led to their reflective thinking, but it did not induce them to reflective practice. Finally, pre-service teacher who got cooperative reflection with experienced teachers got the significant improvement in PCK through the T-test. In particular, it had significant statistical value in instruction section and understanding of students section. It demonstrates that the contextual section could be improved by self-reflection or repetitive class practices, while instruction section and understanding of students section needed consulting by assistants.

A Cooperative Intelligent Transportation System (CITS) provides useful information on upcoming hazards in order to prevent vehicle collisions. In addition, the availability of individual vehicle travel information obtained from the CITS infrastructure allows us to identify the level of road safety in real time and based on analysis of the indicators representing the crash potential. This study proposes a methodology to derive road safety content, and presents evaluation results for its applicability in practice, based on simulation experiments. Both jerk and Stopping Distance Index (SDI) were adopted as safety indicators and were further applied to derive road section safety information. Microscopic simulation results with VISSIM show that 5% and 20% samples of jerk and SDI are sufficient to represent road safety characteristics for all vehicles. It is expected that the outcome of this study will be fundamental to developing a novel and valuable system to monitor the level of road safety in real time.

A tugboat (tug) is a boat that maneuvers vessels by pushing or towing them. Tugs move vessels that should not move themselves alone, such as ships in a crowded harbor or a narrow canal, or those that cannot move themselves, such as barges, disabled ships, or oil platforms. Tugboats are powerful for their size and strongly built, some are ocean-going. Historically tugboats were the first seagoing vessels to receive steam propulsion, freedom from the restraint of the wind, and capability of going in any direction. As such, they were employed in harbors to assist ships in docking and departure. Towage is in essence a service by one vessel to another vessel for a fixed remuneration. The most common reason for requiring this service is the lack of its own motive power. Conventionally, towage is defined as "the employment of one vessel to expedite the voyage of another, when nothing more is required than the accelerating of her progress". Apart from accelerating vessels, acquiring towage service is a common practice for towing barges, platform of drilling oil, floating ship yards, etc.

This study explores how an elementary school homeroom teacher who continued to lecture, can use diversified science teaching methods for learner-centered instruction. Using an auto-ethnographic approach over the course of a year, self-memory data, facebook diaries, class diaries, and interview data of an elementary teacher's day-to-day preparations and practice of elementary science, in the context of a Korean elementary school, were collected. The data was analyzed through cultural historical activity theory, examining how the interplay of key elements (i.e., the subject as a homeroom teacher with instructional expertise, norms, community, division of labor, tools, and goals) was characterized within and across distinct two-activity systems, and how these elements shaped the teacher's teaching methods into either lecture format or diversified teaching. The study revealed that a non-cooperative community, lack of division of labor, and norms that neglect preparation for science class were the elements that perpetuated the lecture format, and that a contradiction between goals and tools occurred in the activity system. However, these elements were able to be transformed into a cooperative community, shared labor, and norms that saved preparation time for both science class and diversified teaching methods, and those changed elements facilitated the teacher in using diversified teaching methods (e.g., experiments, subject-integrated classes, field work), thereby mitigating the contradiction. This study also discusses that diversified teaching methods can be facilitated when dealing with norms, community, and division of labor elements in an elementary school context as well as improving individual teachers' instructional expertise.

This study aims to investigate the changes of their recognition and childcare practices before and after the training for disability awareness targeting class teachers in inclusive childcare setting. Subjects of this study were 9 teachers and the data was collected from 3 focus group (3 persons per group) and personal interviews in case of study needs. The results of this study are as follows: childcare teachers appealed ignorance and fear of children with disabilities before learning to improve their disability awareness, and have learned from the non-prejudiced attitudes of non-disabled children. The need for understanding and knowledge of children with disabilities was high, and they voluntarily and actively participated in the education for the improvement of disability awareness. Since participating in education, teachers have shown changes in perceptions of children with disabilities and changes in the way they practice childcare for disabled children. As regards cognition, teachers have become more interested in and understanding of children with disabilities and have tried to treat them equally with non-disabled children. Regarding the practice of childcare, they practiced the integrated program together with the non-disabled child and the disabled child through cooperative partnership. They also provided the disability awareness education to the non-disabled children and provided the partial integrated childcare program flexibly in one class according to the situation. The results of this study were analyzed and discussed about the general childcare teachers' experience related to the education for improving disability recognition and caring at childcare setting.
The purpose of this study was to examine practice of strategies childcare teachers use in order to promote peer interaction among young children and difficulties in implementing strategies by using mixed methodology. In this study, in order to practice the social inclusion of libraries, the related policies currently announced in the 3rd Comprehensive Library Development Plan were examined, and the current status of tasks promoted by central administrative agencies and metropolitan and provincial libraries was examined based on these policies. As a result, first, in terms of active information welfare realization, various programs and services are being implemented to bridge the knowledge and information gap, but it seems that the scope of the target should be expanded in the future, cooperation with related organizations, and infrastructure improvement. Second, in terms of expanding the openness of the space, the expansion of the open space as an open space and the application of universal design are being performed. In the future, it seems that the scope of universal design application should be expanded in consideration of budget investment for continuous space reconstruction and diversity of users. Third, in terms of linking services across boundaries, services and programs are provided to infants and toddlers, children, women, the elderly, the underprivileged, job seekers, and multicultural families. In the future, it seems that the improvement of the service system for the expansion of inclusive services in libraries should precede, and cooperation between related ministries should be made to provide differentiated services. Finally, it is expected that future policy-making tasks for social inclusion should be considered not only for books, programs, and spaces, but also for librarians' education, establishment of cooperative networks with related organizations, and marketing for services and programs.
