  • Background: This study investigated the status of oral health promotion activities for adult workers in public health centers and industrial dental offices and provided basic data for the model development of oral health promotion program for adult workers in Korea. Methods: A questionnaire was developed separately according to the person who in charge of the oral health promotion activities in public health centers nationwide and dental hygienists working in 20 industrial dental offices. This survey was conducted through postal survey and consisted of 29 items and 35 items respectively, including 19 common items for general information, oral health promotion program status and opinion. Statistical analysis was performed using the IBM SPSS ver. 23.0. Results: We analyzed the data of 147 public health centers (57.9%) and 9 industrial dental offices (45.0%). A workforce with a lack of practice was the biggest barrier to oral health promotion activities for adult workers. However, both groups showed high intention for the practice of adult worker's oral health promotion activities. Also, they showed willingness to work together in an organic partnership to perform their roles (94.4% and 77.8%, respectively). Regarding the scope of cooperation in the implementation of the industrial oral health promotion activity linked to the public health center, dental hygienists of industrial dental offices responded that they could coordinate necessary matters and schedule management. Conclusion: The development of an oral health promotion program aided by the relationship between public health centers and industrial dental offices is essential for the oral health promotion of adult workers. The possibility of cooperation between the abovementioned centers was confirmed through this study. In a long-term perspective, it would be necessary to identify a method to institutionalize industrial dental hygienists for the provision of continuous oral health care in workplaces.

The proposed system has a multiple control sun tracking function and high quality emotional LED lamps. The system is designed to absorb maximum sun lights by temperature sensor and humidity sensor of control circuits. A battery charge-discharge controller is developed for high efficient usage of battery charger for utilization of new and renewal energy. An interface circuit for remote monitoring and controlling is included in the developed system. The proposed multi tracking solar power emotional LED street lamps is better than conventional systems in aspect of tracking operation and energy efficiency, and expected to be a leading model for next generation solar power street lamp system, because it is a new technology combining sun tracking solar power system and emotional lightening system.

  • We have analyzed the electrical defect detection mechanism using low energy microcolumn on the TFT substrate for TFT-LCD. In this study, we have acquired the SEM images of the various pixel defects for 7-inch TFT substrate by scanning of low energy electron beam in the high vacuum chamber. Futhermore, we have interpreted the defect detection mechanism through the correlations between the SEM images and electrical behaviors of the defective pixels. As a result, we obtained consistent results as the follows. We can confirm that the SEM images using low energy electron beam are significantly affected by the space charge effect.

  • In this study, flow characteristics in a multi-cavity injection molding process were investigated. One of main problems occurred in the multi-cavity molding is a flow imbalance among cavities since it affects physical properties and quality of products. Charge imbalance is caused by the uneven shear stress. Therefore, changes in viscosity affect the physical properties of resin and injection conditions differ in the filling imbalance phenomenon. Through, this study focus on experimental studies of flow imbalance for PC and PP resin occurring in a balanced delivery system. Experimental results were compared with CAE results. By experimental and CAE analysis, main cause for the flow imbalance is temperature distribution in cross section of runner. New runner system with a simple change of runner shape was suggested to avoid the flow imbalance. A series of simulation to confirm feasibility of Volume Runner's effects was conducted using injection molding CAE.

  • We have performed numerical simulations of the electrical characteristics for multi-layer organic light emitting diode devices with doped emitting layer using a commercial simulation program. In this paper, the basic structure consists of the ITO/NPB/$Alq_3$:C545T(%)/$Alq_3$/LiF/Al, four devices that were composed of $Alq_3$ as the host and C545T as the green dopant with different concentration, were studied. As the result, the variations of the doping concentration rate of C545T have a effect on the voltage-current density characteristics. The voltage-current characteristics are quite consistent with the results which were experimentally determined in a previous reference paper. In addition, the voltage-luminance characteristics were greatly improved, and the luminous efficiency was improved three times. In order to analyze these driving mechanism, we have investigated the distribution of electric field, charge density of the carriers, and recombination rates in the inner of the OLED devices.

  • This paper presents a Electrical characteristics of the Memristor device using the PSPICE for circuit analysis. After making macro model of the Memristor device for circuit analysis, electric characteristics of the model such as time analysis, frequency and DC analysis according to the input voltage were performed by PSPICE simulation. Also, we made simple circuits of memristor series and parallel structure and analyzed the simulated SPICE results. Finally, we made a memristor-capacitor (M-C) circuit. charge and discharge characteristics were analyzed. In case of input pulse signal of 250 Hz, the Memristor-capacitor circuit showed delay time of 0.6ms, rising time of 0.58 ms and falling time of 1.6 ms.

  • Railway signaling system is the vital control system in charge of the core for safely train operation, its functional safety must be checked through sufficient verification. Until now, to verify the interoperability of developed railway signaling system, the on-site testing approaches have been applied after testing in laboratory with simulator. This approaches are some limited range of interoperable verification, so more systematic verification interoperability is required. In this paper, the three phases of interoperability verification for railway signaling system was proposed, and methodology for each phases are represented. And also The interoperability validation methodology and supported testing tool for railway signaling system is represented in this paper

  • In the event of the emergency patient care, cabin crew must take the charge of the first responder quickly. The basic emergency treatment knowledge of the cabin crew consisted of 80.5%~97.8% when the emergency scene showed up in the passenger and the types of emergency care with that the cabin crew could cope were bleeding control, fever, seizures, myocardial infarction, airway management, and partial airway obstruction management. Considering these cares, the improper emergency types revealed approximately 3.2%~20.0%. In airway obstruction there was followed by loss of consciousness and this led to cardiac arrest. In case of cardiac arrest, the cabin crew must know how to check breathing and to use the automated external defibrillator(AED). The life-threatening cardiac arrest can happen to any passenger in any time, so the cabin crew should meet with the emergency accident and apply the AED to the cardiac arrest victim.

Based on the literature reviews, this study employs five factors in two group of influencing factors, market orientation characteristics and creativity characteristics as key determinants of new product performance. The data have been collected from 136 enterprises and the respondents were person in charge of new product development of each corporation. The results of hypotheses testing through multiple regression analysis are summarized as follows. Firstly, all factors of market orientation and creativity have positive influence upon new product performance. Secondly, in terms of the relationship between market orientation and creativity and new product performance, the results showed significant differences between continuous innovation and discontinuous innovation samples. Based on the findings, implications and directions for future research are discussed.

  • This paper describes the system configuration and measured performances of a wireless power transmission system which utilizes microwave. The technically final target of this system is to provide DC power to various mobile terminals within limited spaces such as buildings, conference rooms, and so on. The prototype system is built using in-house designed and fabricated circuits such as microwave oscillator, high power amplifier, microstrip patch antenna, low pass filter, and detector/rectifier. The fixed RF power of 29.3dBm at 2.4GHz is produced from the high power amplifier and transmitted through the transmitting antenna, while the received RF power at the receiving antenna is transformed into DC power through the detector/rectifier. The measured change of DC voltage according to the distance between transmitting and receiving antenna is described.
