A Study on the Pixel-Paralled Image Processing System for Image Smoothing (영상 평활화를 위한 화소-병렬 영상처리 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper we implemented various image processing filtering using the format converter. This design method is based on realized the large processor-per-pixel array by integrated circuit technology. These two types of integrated structure are can be classify associative parallel processor and parallel process DRAM(or SRAM) cell. Layout pitch of one-bit-wide logic is identical memory cell pitch to array high density PEs in integrate structure. This format converter design has control path implementation efficiently, and can be utilize the high technology without complicated controller hardware. Sequence of array instruction are generated by host computer before process start, and instructions are saved on unit controller. Host computer is executed the pixel-parallel operation starting at saved instructions after processing start. As a result, we obtained three result that 1)simple smoothing suppresses higher spatial frequencies, reducing noise but also blurring edges, 2) a smoothing and segmentation process reduces noise while preserving sharp edges, and 3) median filtering, like smoothing and segmentation, may be applied to reduce image noise. Median filtering eliminates spikes while maintaining sharp edges and preserving monotonic variations in pixel values.

  • The available power generated from the FC power plant may not be sufficient to meet sustained load demand, peak demand or transient events. An supercapacitor bank(SCB) can supply a large burst of power, but it cannot store a significant amount of energy. The combined use of FC and SCB has the potential for the better energy efficiency, reducing the cost of FC technology and improved dynamic response. In this paper, A single PEMFC and PEMFC operated in parallel with a SC bank are presented, A new dynamic model of PEMFC system, the converter and controller has been developed for stand-alone applications. The simulation results are presented using Matlab/Simulink, and SimPowerSystems environments. It is confirmed that the results show a good performance and stable DC-link voltage for proposed dynamic and mathematical models developed for the combined FC/SCB.

  • 본 논문에서는 2KW급 LLC 컨버터를 적용한 전원장치의 병렬운전 및 Load Sharing 기법을 제안한다. 각 모듈의 제어기로는 TI사의 TMS320F28035를 사용하였으며 모듈 각각의 독립적인 전압제어를 담당한다. 그리고 Load Share 모드에서는 CAN통신을 사용하여 각 전원장치의 전류제어 및 전압제어를 수행한다. 각 모듈에 전체전류의 1/N의 균일한 전류를 흐르게 하여 각 모듈에 임피던스 불균형으로 인한 스트레스를 줄일 수 있다. 기존방식은 마스터(Master) 모듈의 지령치에 따라 슬레이브(Slave)모듈에서 부한 분담을 수행하는 반면, 제안된 Load Share 알고리즘은 멀티 마스터(Multi-Master: MM) 방식으로써 각 모듈의 평균전류를 레퍼런스로 갖는 구조로 정확한 부하분담을 수행한다.

  • This paper describes a current fed high frequency resonant inverter can be used as the power supply for wax-sealing. This circuit configuration is composed of conventional two unit inverter of single ended current find type in parallel. The proposed inverter can realize ZVS operation by using resonant capacitor to ZVS capacitor and has merits not only reduction of switch current distribution but also extension of load range in comparison with the conventional single-ended current fed high frequency resonant inverter. This analysis of proposed circuit uses normalized parameter and characteristic estimation which is needed in each step before design is generally described according to normalized frequency($\mu$), normalized resistance(λ) and parameters. On the basis of characteristic values, a method of the circuit design is presented. Also, the theoretical analysis is proved through experiment and this proposed circuit shows that it can be practically used as the power supply system for wax-sealing and DC-DC converter.

  • In this paper, It is indicating that an issues of the conventional boost converter for high frequency induction heating. To improve those issues, it is proposed, simulated and analyzed that the current resonant circuit, simulated. As the result, we knew that the proposed circuit has a good point to improve the waveform of input current and to make high efficiency. On the other side, in the inverter for the high current power supply, it is proposed that the high frequency inverter of the half bridge topology, be done the circuit analysis to extract the optimal circuit parameter. It is making sure of the soft switching operating by the inductor to reverse parallel connected on the inverter main switch, decreasing the surge voltage when the switch is turn-off by compulsion, and repressing the switch current and bringing the high current amplitude operation by the multi resonance.

  • This paper proposes an improved feed-forward controller that calculates the gain value by estimating the changed boost inductance in practical operating condition of transformer. The boost inductance is estimated by the measurement of input current and voltage. The estimated boost inductance is optimized by the least square method. The proposed feed-forward controller can be achieved the robust control through the gain value calculating the estimated boost inductance despite of the changed condition of transformer and can minimize the interference phenomenon by reducing the harmonics of input current. The validity of proposed technique is verified through the simulation and experiment.

  • This paper presents the power supply system which is made of three units: the capacitor charging and main pulse unit, simmer power supply unit, and series trigger unit. The capacitor charging and main pulse unit charges the capacitor bank by using the series parallel resonant converter and the generated main pulses apply to the lamp. The series trigger unit ionize the xenon gas located in the lamp and the simmer power supply unit sustains the ionized condition. It means that the lamp lifetime and efficiency are advanced by reducing the number of triggering. Not only the operation of the proposed system but also the performance of each unit will be verified by the experimental results.

  • The use of semiconductor devices as a component of eco-friendly motor vehicles has increased and their widespread use as high voltage switches is expected. On the other hand, in the case of high-voltage switches, reliability test equipment is not localized. To test high voltage switches, this paper analyzed the relevant test standards for developing power supplies. In particular, for the automotive semiconductor reliability test, the AEC (Automotive Electronic Council) Q101 was analyzed. Based on that, the standard specifications of the power supply were determined. For the main power circuit, the pull bridge converter was adopted and based on the specification, the circuit parameters were determined and verified by simulation. The interface for the parallel and pattern operation was designed. The characteristics of the power supply were tested.

  • This paper proposes a solar tracking system without photo-sensors. The system can be classified into four modules: Solar Tracking, MPPT, ESS, and Real-Time Monitoring. Nine solar panels, as a basic unit, are adopted with grid structures of different heights to reduce wind influence and to enable solar tracking without photo-sensors. The low-cost MCU implements MPPT method which generates PWM switching signal for boost converter. The unit of ESS consists of three-series and four-parallel lithium-ion batteries in order to enable monitoring for abnormalities in temperature and electrical characteristics of battery. Four MCUs used in the system consists of two AVR Atmega128, and two Raspberry PI, and they exchanges operation informations. Experimental results of the proposed system show the solar tracking performance, the possibility of on-site and remote monitoring and the convenience of maintenance based on IoT technology.
