The set of continuous maps of a space X to real usual space R equipped with the toplogy of pointwise convergence will be denoted by $C_p$(X). In this paper, we prove that; $C_p$(X) is hereditarily separable and hereditary Lindelof if and only if $X^n$ is hereditarily separable and hereditary Lindelof.

For the polymatroidal network, which has set-constraints on arcs, solution procedures to get the weighted maximal flows are investigated. These procedures are composed of the transformation of the polymatroidal network flow problem into a polymatroid intersection problem and a polymatroid intersection algorithm. A greedy polymatroid intersection algorithm is presented, and an example problem is solved. The greedy polymatroid intersection algorithm is a variation of Hassin's. According to these procedures, there is no need to convert the primal problem concerned into dual one. This differs from the procedures of Hassin, in which the dual restricted problem is used.

This paper proposes a efficient algorithm of letter-box converter using 4:3 decimation algorithm. To display 16:9 wide images on a 4:3 screen, there is need to convert the 16:9 wide images. The letter-box converter is designed with multiplierless architecture. We have modeled the letter-box converter in verilog-HDL and verified to show little difference between the original image and the converte image.

In this paper, we describe the design of the ATM adapter circuit in the BSC for IMT-2000 Network. This ATM adapter circuit can convert received ATM cell into TDM data in the BSC and vice versa. In the ATM adapter, we implemented both AAL1 and AAL5 functions to provide constant bit rate voice data and variable bit rate packet data servives, simultaneously.

The purpose of this study is developing a converter which is able to convert a 300[KW] power, and is a DC power supply output a 1500[V] DC voltage for inverter driving. The power converter is driven by two converter serisely and keep a high power factor of power source. This system is haven all the characteristic of voltage source converter by having a processing ability of regenerating power. The two converters controls a PWM modulation and output voltage using a only one 16 bit DSP processor.

The behavior of woman consumer is changing according is its situation and includes its complexity. The complexities are being changed by the economic, psycalogical social, and cultural factors. The influence of group on the behavior of consumer -the primary, secondary, formal, informal, membership and reference group -has a great influence on the buying decision. Though manufacturers have pursued only behavior, now they must pursue the positive promotion behavior on the basis of convert behavior of current consumer's behavior. The research of consumer's behavior must be performed scicntificallyan and it must be more practical approach.

Replacements for natural dentition must fulfil many criteria. An important aspect, especially for the patient, is aesthetic consideration. The shape and colour can be important factors in the aesthetic success of an anterior restoration. In order to allow for proper shape; the outline form, the spatial position of individual teeth and the surface characteristics must be considered. For the colour; translucency, value, chroma and hue must be expressed exactly. The dentist and technicians should catch up these very specific characteristics of the patient and convert them accurately to the restorations with the simplest way.

The standard stellar models for HIP 20916 and HIP 101769 have been constructed to determine the properties of the binary system. Augmented with speckle data which is the magnitude difference between stars of the binary system, the previously determined parameters, such as [Fe/H], distance, total mass, and etc, are used to construct the standard stellar models. And the Green table is used to convert L and $T_{eff}$ into $M_v$ and color for comparison between models and observational data. We present the constructed stellar models of the system.

In this study, succinic acid production using fumaric acid fermentation broth was investigated. We tried to produce fumaric aicd from glucose by Rhizopus oryzae and then convert fumaric acid fermentation broth into succinic acid by Enterococcus faecalis RKY1. Conversion ratio of succinic acid was more than 0.90 g/g-fumaric acid. Furthermore, we optimized conditions of conversion from fermentation broth. As a result, when fumaric acid fermentation broth for succinic acid production was employed, we could decrease the amount used of glycerol and yeast extract.

We present a couple of tools that can be used in the solution of nonsymmetric eigenvalue problems. The first one allows us to convert power iterates into Arnoldi's results so that a few eigenpairs are easily obtainable. The other converts Arnoldi's results into power iterates to simulate the power method and improve the result. Suggestions for application are also given.
