  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to identify the critical factors that restaurant management should consider strategically when making a decision after COVID-19 under the digital transformation and non-contact service expansions environment. Design/methodology/approach - The thirty six experts and managers who have 5 years or more experience in restaurant industry in Korea participate this study. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SER-M were used to analyze the experts' opinion Findings - As a result of the analysis, 'management environment' (0.313) showed the highest relative importance priority, followed by 'brand (0.263)', 'management characteristics (0.254)', and 'physical factors (0.17)'. And, as for the sub-factor value, 'lifestyle (0.087)', 'awareness (0.084)', 'consumer desire (0.075)', and 'loyalty (0.068)' were ranked highest among the 19 influencing critical factors. Research implications or Originality - In the case of large restaurant enterprises, it is judged that the subject(CEO, Management) is actively pursuing a strategy to acquire the necessary resources for the given environment of digital transformation and customer demand for non-contact services. On the other hand, in the case of middle and small restaurant enterprises, it seems that they are fully aware of the demand for expansion of non-contact services and the digital transformation required in the post COVID-19 era, but information technology utilization ability, usage experience, technology acceptance ability, and education and training support for this are only available to large enterprises.

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the efficiency of digital conversion by presenting factors that domestic small and medium-sized manufacturers should consider when attempting digital conversion. Using SME data from 2019 to 2021, we analyze the impact of digital transformation on the financialization of enterprises and which digital technologies affect financialization, and further analyze the mediating effect of green technology innovation between digital transformation and business finance. did The results of the study support the negative impact of digital technologies on corporate finance, and cloud computing technologies have been found to significantly inhibit the level of corporate finance. In addition, it was found that green technology innovation plays a mediating role in suppressing corporate financialization by promoting green technology innovation through digital transformation. Digital transformation influences corporate decision-making through green technology innovation, suggesting that the combination of digital technology and green projects should be considered.

This paper implement four related researches. First, the impact analysis of entrepreneur's personal characteristics on coaching activities, second, influences of entrepreneurs environmental factors on them, Third, impact of coaching activities on entrepreneur's awareness conversion effect, Fourth, how strongly this conversion effect contributing on the performance of startup. As results of empirical research, first, this paper prove that entrepreneur's environmental factors impact positively on coaching activities over entrepreneur although failing on validating on significant impact of entrepreneur's personal characteristics on coaching activities. Second, this paper prove that coaching activities positively influence on entrepreneur's awareness conversion, hence ultimately positively on the performance of startups. • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the rental determinants of a small shopping mall located in Seoul, Korea, and the characteristics of four commercial districts (CBD, GBD, YSD, etc.). Research design, data, and methodology: For the characteristics of the data, descriptive statistics and frequency analysis were used. Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) have been used as rental determinants for small shopping malls. The characteristics of 4 commercial districts were analyzed using Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and post-hoc analysis. Results: 1) CBD 14.8%, GBD 16.7%, YSD 13.0%, others 55.6%. 2) The order of important variables affecting rent: CBD=1> GBD=1> vacancy rate> rental index> number of buildings> YBD=1> average gross floor area> conversion rate> average floor. 3) Characteristics of commercial district: Rents in CBD and GBD are high. The conversion rate is high in the GBD commercial area. The number of buildings is high in the CBD. The average area of GBD is larger than that of other commercial districts. Conclusions: 1) Several factors should be considered when investing in or renting a small shopping mall. 2) Depending on the investment and business purpose, factors such as rent, conversion rate, building, and area average should be considered.

  • Most of expert systems use the text-oriented knowledge bases. However, knowledge management using the knowledge bases is considered as a huge burden to the knowledge workers because it includes some troublesome works. It includes chasing and/or checking activities on Consistency, Redundancy, Circulation, and Refinement of the knowledge. In those cases, we consider that they could reduce the burdens by using relational database management systems-based knowledge management infrastructure and convert the knowledge into one of easy forms human can understand. Furthermore they could concentrate on the knowledge itself with the support of the systems. To meet the expectations, in this study, we have tried to develop a general-purposed knowledge conversion tool for expert systems. Especially, this study is focused on the knowledge conversions among text-oriented knowledge base, relational database knowledge base, and decision tree.

  • Decreasing actual greenhouse gas will be difficult if it is not solved addressed in architectural fields. Zero emission building or zero energy building, maximize the efficiency of energy, which means the building can operate by their own renewable energy facility without any other supplying. To be a zero emission building, a building needs realization of high efficiency low energy consumption, construction of building its own energy production facilities and lastly a power grid connection. According to increasing of DC load about TV, LED lighting, computer, IT in building for living and business, it is expected the save of energy when the system of AC power distribution change into the system of DC power distribution. Renewable energy exists a big different rate produced by outside environment. When electrical power overproduce, it can supply for system. Otherwise, if electrical power produce less, it can receive supply from system. Send and receive power can lead to zero to annual standard. This paper shows the simulation about efficient control of power conversion which is related to DC power distribution of architecture and DC output of renewable energy by using L-type converter.

  • Purpose - This study investigated the demographic characteristics of retirees who sought not to be reemployed or join an organization but, instead, to be self-employed. This study verified self-employment by regional and/or educational features to determine the self-employment factors and the policies required. Research design, data, and methodology - Models and hypotheses were used to verify the conversion into self-employment depending on retirees' demographic characteristics. This study investigated regions according to precedent studies and used SPSS 18.0 as follows. First, frequency was used to investigate the general characteristics. Second, a factor correlation analysis was done. Results - Hypothesis 1, which stated that, "retirees with low educational background often start a self-employed business," was significant. Hypothesis 2, which stated that, "retirees in metropolitan areas frequently start a self-employed business," was significant. Hypothesis 3, which stated that, "retirees in a megalopolis frequently start a self-employed business," was significant. Conclusions - A preliminary startup education was needed to lessen the losses. Retirees should have preliminary knowledge of actual self-employment conditions to be given a startup education.

  • Various kind of business process exists within enterprise. These business processes achieve business purposes while operate and control using eAI solution. However legacy systems-ERP, PDM are able to many cooperations and interoperability. Generally real data is becoming interoperability using query based on store-procedure on legacy system for business process transaction. Also, It may occur some problems among schema conversion, matching, mapping and other heterogeneous between data interoperability in process. We propose business process interoperability framework based on XMDR Hub that can guarantee interoperability between legacy systems using process that is consisted of SQL query based on store-procedure. It is easy to process data interoperability between legacy systems when business process execute.
