The lips and corners of the mouth are not only important for appearance but are also essential for facial expression, speech, and nutrition. Defects in these areas can be caused by congenital clefts of the lip and face, trauma, infection, cysts, and excision of benign or malignant tumors. Numerous techniques have been introduced for reconstruction of the lips and corners of the mouth, and in particular, techniques such as the Kazanjian Roopenian I and II, Converse method, Zisser method, Platz and Wepner method. Gillies and Millard method are commonly utilized for elongation and reconstruction of the mouth corner. Few reports exist in the oral and maxillofacial surgery literature regarding correction of microsomia and reconstruction of the corners of the mouth. As such, the authors report a case of the corners of the mouth elongation in a patient with burn-induced microstomia using the Converse flap which yielded a satisfactory outcome.

Functoriality conjecture is one of the central and influential subjects of the present day mathematics. Functoriality is the profound lifting problem formulated by Robert Langlands in the late 1960s in order to establish nonabelian class field theory. In this expository article, I describe the Langlands-Shahidi method, the local and global Langlands conjectures and the converse theorems which are powerful tools for the establishment of functoriality of some important cases, and survey the interesting results related to functoriality conjecture.

In this paper we investigate the problem of exponential asymptotic stability (EAS) in perturbed nonlinear systems of the differential system x' = f(t, x). Also, a simple method for constructing Liapunov functions is used to prove a kind of Massera type converse theorem.

A useful method of proving the finite decidability of an equationally definable class V of algebras (i.e., variety) is to prove the decidability of the class of finite directly indecomposable members of V. The validity of this method relies on the well-known result of Feferman-Vaught: if a class K of first-order structures is decidable, then so is the class {$\prod$$_{i}$＜n/ $A_{i}$│ $A_{i}$ $\in$ X (i < n), n $\in$ $\omega$}. In this paper we show that the converse of this does not necessarily hold.d.d.

A method for recovering Chui-Lian's orthogonal symmetric/antisymmetric multiwavelets of order 2 from orthogonal two-direction wavelets of order 2 was proposed by Yang and Xie. In this paper we pursue the converse, that is, we propose a method for constructing orthogonal two-direction wavelets of order 2 from orthogonal symmetric/antisymmetric multiwavelets of order 2.

The metathesaurus(UMLS, 2003AA edition) supports multi language and includes 875, 233 concepts, 2, 146, 897 concept names. It is impossible for PubMed or NLM serve searching of the metatheaurus to retrieval using a query that is not to be text, a fault sentence structure or a part of concept name. That means the user notice correctly suitable medical words in order to get correct answer, otherwise she or he can't find information that they want to find I propose that the method of searching unified medical language system using automatic modified a query for problem that I mentioned. This method use dictionary that is standard for automation of modified query gauge similarity between query and dictionary using string comparison algorithm. And then, the tested term converse the form of metathesaurus for optimized result. For the evaluation of method, I select some query and I contrast NLM method that renewed Aug. 2003.

In the teaching of Chinese characters, making full use of the phonetic function of phonetic symbols can help learners improve their learning efficiency. The research on the characteristics of phonetic symbols and the rules of their construction is the premise of teaching Chinese characters with phonetic symbols. The phonetic symbols that can accurately prompt the pronunciation of the whole word and the homophone characters that they constitute provide the applicable materials for the teaching of Chinese characters. The split method simply and intuitively reflects the internal relationship among shape, sound and meaning in pictophonetic characters. "The analogy method of homophonic character group" and "the converse method of homophonic character group" are the combination of the function of the sound prompt and the characteristics of the analogy and induction of homophonic character, which can not only help students save the time of memorizing the sound, but also effectively increase the amount of literacy. The quantitative analysis of phonetic symbols and homophone symbols is of great significance to the classification of Chinese characters and the improvement of textbook editing.

The main purpose of this study is the vibration suppression of rotating composite blade containing distributed piezoelectric sensors and actuators. The blade is modeled by thin-walled, single cell composite beam including the warping function, centrifugal force, Coriolis acceleration and piezoelectric effect. Further, the numerical study is performed m ing finite element method. The vibration of composite rotor is suppressed by piezocomposite actuators and PVDF sensors that are embedded between composite layers. A velocity feedback control algorithm coupling the direct and converse piezoelectric effect is used to actively control the' dynamic response of an integrated structure through a closed control loop. Responses of the rotating blade are investigated. Newmark time integration method is used to calculate the time response of the model. In the numerical simulation, the effect of parameters such as rotating speed, fiber orientation of the blade and size of actuators are studied in detail.

A newly developed heuristic algorithm, Harmony Search, is applied to the parameter calibration problem of the nonlinear Muskingum model. The Harmony Search could, mimicking the improvisation of music players, find better parameter values for in the nonlinear Muskingum model than five other methods including another heuristic method, genetic algorithm, in the aspect of SSQ (the sum of the square of the deviations between the observed and routed outflows) as well as in the aspects of SAD (the sum of the absolute value of the deviations), DPO (deviations of peak of routed and actual flows) and DPOT (deviations of peak time of rented and actual outflow). Harmony Search also has the advantage that it does not require the process of assuming the initial values of design parameters. The sensitivity analysis of Harmony Memory Considering Rate showed that relatively large values of Harmony Memory Considering Rate makes the Harmony Search converse to a better solution.

In this study, the method of the finite element modeling for free vibration control of beam-type smart structures with bonded plate-type piezoelectric sensors and actuators is proposed. Constitutive equations for the direct piezoelectric effect and converse piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric materials are considered. By using the variational principle, the equations of motion for the smart beam finite element are derived, The proposed 2-node beam finite element is an isoparametric element based on Timoshenko beam theory. Therefore, by analyzing beam-type smart structures with smart beam finite elements, it is possible to simulate the control of the structural behavior by applying voltages to piezoelectric actuators and monitoring of the structural behavior by sensing voltages of piezoelectric sensors. By using the smart beam finite element and constant-gain feed back control scheme, the formulation of the free vibration control for the beam structures with bonded plate-type piezoelectric sensors and actuators is proposed.
