The purpose of the convergence study is to confirm the relevance between communication awareness and communication ability and communication self-efficacy. The subjects were 128 college students studying convergence education. They answered to a self-report questionnaire during March 13 to 24, 2017. The instrument for Awareness toward communication, Communication ability, Communication self-efficacy was done by Likert 5 point scale. Data was analyzed by technical statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and post-hoc Scheffe test using SPSS/Win 21.0 program. As a result, awareness toward communication level $3.50{\pm}.41$ point, communication ability $3.32{\pm}.38$ point and communication self-efficacy $3.00{\pm}.40$ among. Communication Awareness was positively correlated with communication ability level and communication self-efficacy. If there is an intervention program that improve the level of communication self-efficacy, it is expected to enhance the communication ability.

As the developing of the information communication technology, more and more devices are with the capacity of communication and networking. The convergence businesses which communicate with the devices have been developing rapidly. The IT convergence communication is viewed as one of the next frontiers in wireless communications. In this paper, we analyze detailed security threats against M2M(Machine to Machine), intelligent vehicle, smart grid and u-Healthcare in IT convergence architecture. We proposed a direction of the IT convergence security that imbedded system security, forensic security, user authentication and key management scheme.

L2 learners deal with communication problems encountered during the course of their oral communication by employing what are known as communication strategies(CSs). As CSs play a significant role in communication and language learning, identifying CSs that facilitate communication has become important in L2 research. However, there have been some controversies about how to identify CSs, especially about data sources: conversation data, retrospective interview data, or combining two types of data. Drawing on the advantages of converged data, this study aimed to identify CSs that L2 learners use in their English communication through a convergence analysis of data. In this qualitative case study, the data were collected from Korean L2 learners' conversations and retrospective verbal reports in stimulated recall interviews. Using a data convergence approach, various CSs were identified: definition replacement CSs, message change CSs, time-gaining CSs, and comprehension CSs. This study suggests the effectiveness of CSs in handling L2 communication problems and the usefulness of data convergence in L2 CS research.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect on improving communication by conducting a tea culture convergence program for elderly people using facilities. The subjects of this study consisted of a tea culture convergence program for 3 months, 60 minutes once a week for 7 people using the Elderly Day Care Center in the H-S S welfare center. Psychological and behavioral changes related to communication by sessions were compared by comparing elderly patients at each session of the Tea Culture Convergence Program.Tea culture convergence program was found to have a positive effect on behaviors and attitudes related to communication among the elderly in the facilities. As a result of analyzing pre- and post-action and attitudes, the Tea Culture Convergence Program brought positive changes in communication by acting as emotional and social support for the elderly. These findings suggest that the Tea Culture Convergence Program is a psychologically necessary program for the elderly in that it shows that the Tea Culture Convergence Program is an effective program that promotes communication among the elderly in the facilities.

Creative thinking and fusion diversity of the performing arts pursue the settlement of empirical value realization by assuming new communication by genre. This new value and communication can create a type of collective intelligence with a different attempt based on the individual communication and horizontal thinking of the masses. Therefore, the empirical value and communication of the 21st century convergence(fusion) performing arts is possible through new types and analysis, and also were understood as the horizontal creation structure of the artist. As a result, first, the concept of the right value of 'convergence' was perceived as empirical communication depending on the empirical thinking ability of genre artists. Second, off-genre and collaborative tendencies are due to cooperation based on intellectual ability and recognition of horizontal communication by genre. Third, in the collaboration, the public's individualized communication ability and universal communication recognition should be premised and perceived the empirical definition about the collective intelligence. In conclusion, it is concluded that empirical value and communication of convergence performing arts enable to the experimental creation of collective intelligence, and that the relationship structure extends to a meaningful transition of convergence interpretation and expression of performing arts.

This paper focuses on issues in the convergence of library and information science and communication studies. Common research topics in both fields include scholarly communication, knowledge gaps, invisible colleges, diffusion of innovations, human interaction with communication technologies, information-seeking behavior, information theory, and the information society. To consider these two disciplines in this broader context, this paper compares these two discipline's paradigms, suggests four models of convergence, and traces bibliometric studies performed. This study may be of use to those studying scholarly communication or bibliometrics, to faculty constructing curricula in either of the disciplines, to communication and information science scholars seeking new areas of research, and to collection development librarians in drawing the boundaries of these disciplines.

This paper proposes a convergence education method that combines architecture and communication through a documentary film entitled the Talking Architecture. The purpose of this program is to propose a new teaching and learning method for architecture education and investigates what would be an effective method of communication for architects. As mentioned above, this paper proposes a teaching method and a model applicable to actual classes based on the Talking Architect. It is proved that the method can be used for various types of classes and fields such as architectural expression, architectural planning and designing, housing theory, building structure, building materials, and other subject matters. In addition, this paper explores how architects communicate as described in the film. The findings show the potential of integrity, negotiating capability, and the convergent method of thinking and communication between the humanities and architecture as a positive communication model for architects. This paper opens up the possibilities for convergence education in the field of engineering education through three key words: film, architecture, and communication. And this paper is worth in that it is a useful method for developing convergence courses and team-teaching courses.

This paper presents the performance analysis of a long-range marine communication system developed for monitoring the fishing gears. LoRa based buoys were developed to monitor fishing gears. The buoy sends its coordinates along with other relevant information to the central monitoring station via a gateway. During the experiment, a up to 30 km of communication between a buoy and a gateway was successfully tested.

Since the first semester of 2020, domestic and overseas universities mostly provided untact online classes and limitedly provided face-to-face classes due to COVID-19 in operating courses. The convergence subjects provided in undergraduate courses attach importance to contents-centered, design-based, hands-on education, and field experience. In the situation where online education was not revitalized, instructors in charge of convergence subjects had difficulty in developing online class materials, and students' satisfaction with the classes was not high. Especially, a problem was raised that students taking the convergence subjects that included practice had difficulty in communicating with the instructors. We would investigate the present condition of distance learning in domestic universities, which came suddenly due to the global pandemic of infectious disease and make suggestions for effective distance learning in the coming era of Metaverse by emphasizing the interaction and communication between instructors and learners through an analysis of distance learning of a convergence subject.

In this paper, the android platform based on the morning call system using multi-point group communication is proposed. Implemented multi-point group communication was applied by fusing a variety of techniques such as JAVA NIO, JSP, MySQL, DBMS Pool, GCM and JSON. Some experiments are conducted so as to verify the proposed method, and as a result, morning-call application based multi-point group communication is well performed.
