Analyzing the diffusion of a convergence product is a new and challenging research field. It is very difficult to find research dealing with this issue due to the inherent complexity and lack of data. In analyzing the diffusion of a convergence product, we should simultaneously take into account its relationship with related single-function products because of their similarities in terms of technology and functionality. In this study, we empirically analyze the diffusion of the convergence mobile phones in South Korea and find that the convergence products can affect the diffusion of MP3 players and digital cameras positively or negatively. This research may be significant for business strategies in technology management and product development.

This paper examined whether quality management(QM) positively impacts Kazakh companies' business performance (financial and non-financial performance). As a result of testing ten hypotheses based on the research model for 287 companies in Almaty, only eight hypotheses were supported. Top management leadership was identified as a critical factor that positively affected financial performance, and customer-centered thinking is strongly related to non-financial performance. Employee participation and quality information analysis factors also positively affected business performance, but their influence was lower than top management leadership and customer-centered thinking factors. Finally, the supplier management factor did not significantly affect business performance, and the two related hypotheses were not supported. These results are presumed to be due to the characteristics of the target companies, such as oil and raw material manufacturing and construction, rather than high-quality finished products.

With the energy paradigm shift from supply side management to demand side management, many researches have been done on demand side resource management and demand response. At the same time, Obix, BacNet-WS and OPC-UA are popularly used in buildings and industry energy management system. However, it is not easy to interchange the data and information among the systems cause a variety of protocols are used in buildings and factories. Therefore, in this paper, we are proposing an open business platform not only to integrate and manage the demand resources using various protocols and standards, but also to allow to plug-ins a new business service on top of the platform.

Recently, according to rapid technological development trend of mobile devices revolutionary transforming our lives in various fields, thereby combining the latest in communications technology. The information technology, in the digital economy era, does a very important role not only for the country's administrative management innovation but also for the business and for the everyday life. Specifically, the e-business for the company or organization is defined as "using the Internet and IT, rescheduling of business process management activities to increase productivity and efficiency and to create new business opportunities." Thanks to the Korea's recent efforts, overall level of informatization and digitalization is able to receive high praise. This study attempted to provide implications by analyzing the impact of business Owner's safety commitment on industrial accidents and examining the mediating role of management supervisors' safety leadership and worker participation. Analysis was conducted on 2,067 manufacturing sites with 20 to 50 employees in the 10th Occupational Safety and Health Survey data. SPSS waw used to secure the reliability of the measurement variable. Hypothesis vertification was carried out after securing the suitability and validity of the structural model using AMOS. The direct impact of three latent variables on industrial accidents was confirmed: the business owner's safety commitment, the management supervisor's safety leadership, and the worker participation. The employer's safety will and the management supervisor's safety leadership do not directly affect industial accidents, but it has been verified that worker participation has a diret impact on industrial accident reduction. In addition, it has been confirmed that the safety leadership and worker participation of the management. Supervior have a complete mediating effect on the reduction of industrial accidents by mediating with the safety leadership of the management supervior and the participation of the workers. This study analyzed the impact on industrial accidents by dividing the stakeholders constituting the workplace into three classes: business owners, superviors, and workers, but the results suggest that employers and all workers inside the workplace may be organically linked to achieving the goal of reducing industrial accidents. Therefore, in order to establish an autonomous safety management system for safety and health at workerplaces, efforts are needed to reduce industrial accidents in their respective location by forming an organic community among internal stakeholders.

Many firms are efficiently applying smart business technology and smart business model to their management activities in order to raise their business results in a smart business environment. Firm's smart business capability is very crucial for the efficient execution of its management activities and to improve the performance of business tasks in a global business environment. An evaluation framework is necessary for effectively evaluating a firm's smart business capability to manage and improve its smart business capability in a total smart business perspective. We generated the first 21-item based on previous literature. This research found an 11-item framework that can efficiently evaluate an enterprise smart business capability by verifying based on previous studies. This framework can be used for effectively evaluating a firm's smart business capability in a comprehensive perspective.

Standards offer numerous opportunities and benefits not only to provide effective and efficient way for business goals internally, but also to increase company's competitiveness externally. However SMBs can't get have benefits from standards management due to lack of resources and awareness. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of standard management in business hierarchy from SMBs' cases leading to raising the awareness and providing strategic implications for standards management. The utilization of Standards management was investigated by adopting Anthony framework and Miles and Snow typology targeting SMBs which have awarded the World Standards Day Prize. The results of case study indicated that standards can be used as not only a strategic tool for achieving business goal and but also an effective way for raising brand awareness in global market. This study has originality and practical value in that it enhances the awareness and provides strategic implications for standards management in global business environment.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the strategic direction of organizations and their employees to efficiently utilize smart factories and enhance business performance among Korean manufacturing companies. Research design, data, and methodology: We derived a structured research model to check the mediated effect of utilization of smart factory between the characteristics of smart factory and the innovation activities. Results: Quality characteristics of smart factory and Innovation activities were all found to have a statistically significant effect on utilization of smart factory, utilization of smart factory was found to have a statistically significant effect on the business performance. And it has been shown that the utilization of smart factory is partially mediated relative to the quality characteristics of smart factory and business performance and relative to innovation activities and business performance. Conclusions: Smart factory builders can reflect the areas that affect utilization of the smart factory in their strategies by considering the quality characteristics of the smart factory and innovation Activities. Therefore, smart factory builders can identify the quality characteristics of smart factory and reflect them in the process and analyze active utilize measures through the innovative activities of the employees of the organization, thereby influencing business performance.
