Study on UxNB Network Deployment Method toward Mobile IAB

  • 본 논문은 모바일 IAB를 향한 UxNB 네트워크 배포 및 운영 방안을 제안한다. SDN(Software Defined Network) 기반으로 UxNB 네트워크를 운영하여, 이동 통신 서비스를 원하는 지역에 UxNB를 배포한다. 서비스 지역에 UxNB를 배포한 후, IAB를 설정하여 이동 통신 서비스를 수행할 수 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 먼저 UAV 컨트롤러(UAV controller)와 SDN 컨트롤러(SDN controller)로 구성되는 UxNB 네트워크 컨트롤러(UxNB NC; UxNB network controller)를 제안하고 필요한 기능들을 기술한다. 다음으로 UxNB 네트워크를 배포하고 운영할 수 있는 시나리오를 단계별로 상세하게 제시한다. 또한 UxNB 네트워크 컨트롤러의 위치, UxNB에 대한 UAV 컨트롤러 제어 명령 전달 방법, UxNB 네트워크를 위한 IAB 적용 방법, UxNB 네트워크의 최적화, UxNB 네트워크의 RLF(radio link failure) 복구 및 UxNB 네트워크의 보안(security)에 대한 향후 연구를 논한다. 제안한 UxNB NC 아키텍처와 UxNB 네트워크 배포 및 운영 방안을 이용하여 모바일 IAB에 UxNB 네트워크를 원활하게 통합할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

A Study on Tracking Control for Networked Multi-Motor Systems

  • In recent years, a lot of industrial equipments have serial communication channel such as FieldBus (CAN, Profibus, etc.) or Ethernet that provides real time communication between industrial equipments. Theses applications include gantry crane, robot, chip mounter, etc.. In this paper, we discuss the synchronization technique for networked multi-motor systems where controllers (commercial servo amps) are distributed and interconnected by CAN (Controller Area Networks). We first describe the equivalent model for the individual servo-amp and motor using the frequency response. We design the $H{\infty}$ controller for motion synchronization. Finally, the synchronization technique using the equivalent model and the $H{\infty}$ controller is verified by the simulation and the experiment.

기존제어기와 신경회로망의 혼합제어기법을 이용한 미사일 적응 제어기 설계 (Adaptive Control Design for Missile using Neural Networks Augmentation of Existing Controller)

  • This paper presents the design of a neural network based adaptive control for missile is presented. The application model is Exocet MM40, which is derived from missile DATCOM database. Acceleration of missile by tail Fin control cannot be controllable by DMI (Dynamic Model Inversion) directly because it is non-minimum phase system. So, the inner loop consists of DMI and NN (Neural Network) and the outer loop consists of PI controller. In order to satisfy the performances only with PI controller, it is necessary to do some additional process such as gain tuning and scheduling. In this paper, all flight area would be covered by just one PI gains without tuning and scheduling by applying mixture control technique of conventional controller and NN to the outer loop. Also, the simulation model is designed by considering non-minimum phase system and compared the performances to distinguish the validity of control law with conventional PI controller.

Performance Evaluation of SDN Controllers: RYU and POX for WBAN-based Healthcare Applications

  • Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) have made it easier for healthcare workers and patients to monitor patients' status continuously in real time. WBANs have complex and diverse network structures; thus, management and control can be challenging. Therefore, considering emerging Software-defined networks (SDN) with WBANs is a promising technology since SDN implements a new network management and design approach. The SDN concept is used in this study to create more adaptable and dynamic network architectures for WBANs. The study focuses on comparing the performance of two SDN controllers, POX and Ryu, using Mininet, an open-source simulation tool, to construct network topologies. The performance of the controllers is evaluated based on bandwidth, throughput, and round-trip time metrics for networks using an OpenFlow switch with sixteen nodes and a controller for each topology. The study finds that the choice of network controller can significantly impact network performance and suggests that monitoring network performance indicators is crucial for optimizing network performance. The project provides valuable insights into the performance of SDN-based WBANs using POX and Ryu controllers and highlights the importance of selecting the appropriate network controller for a given network architecture.

  • 소프트웨어 정의 네트워크는 네트워크 제어 기능을 데이터 전송 기능으로부터 물리적으로 분리하여 소프트웨어적으로 구현한다. 광범위한 지역으로 소프트웨어 정의 네트워크를 설치하기 위해서는 다중의 제어기가 요구되며, 제어기의 배치는 소프트웨어 정의 네트워크 성능에 중요한 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 정의 네트워크에서 효율적인 제어기 배치를 위한 메타 휴리스틱 알고리즘인 타부 서치 알고리즘을 제안한다. 보다 좋은 결과를 효과적으로 얻기 위해 새로운 타부 서치의 이웃해 생성 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 소프트웨어 정의 네트워크에서 최소 전송지연과 실행속도 관점에서 성능을 평가하며, 유전 알고리즘 및 랜덤방법과 비교하여 제안된 알고리즘의 성능이 우수함을 보인다.

  • This paper is devoted to investigating direct adaptive neural control of nonlinear systems with uncertain or unknown dynamic models. In the direct adaptive neural networks control area, theoretical issues of the existing backpropagation-based adaptive neural networks control schemes. The major contribution is proposing the variable index control approach, which is of great significance in the control field, and applying it to derive new stable robust adaptive neural network control schemes. This new schemes possess inherent robustness to system model uncertainty, which is not required to satisfy any matching condition. To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed leaning algorithms and direct adaptive neural networks control schemes, intensive computer simulations were conducted based on the flexible joint robot systems and functions.

TF-CPABE: An efficient and secure data communication with policy updating in wireless body area networks

  • The major challenge in wireless body area networks (WBAN) is setting up a protected communication between data consumers and a body area network controller while meeting the security and privacy requirements. This paper proposes efficient and secure data communication in WBANs using a Twofish symmetric algorithm and ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption with constant size ciphertext; in addition, the proposed scheme incorporates policy updating to update access policies. To the best of the author's knowledge, policy updating in WBAN has not been studied in earlier works. The proposed scheme is evaluated in terms of message size, energy consumption, and computation cost, and the results are compared with those of existing schemes. The result shows that the proposed method can achieve higher efficiency than conventional methods.

  • 로봇의 고성능화, 지능화에 따라 다수의 센서, 액츄에이터 및 제어기 적용이 확대되고 있다. 기존의 로봇 내부의 와이어링 기술은 점대점으로 직접 배선을 연결하는 방식이었으나 최근에는 버스 구조의 네트워크를 채택하고 있다. 다양한 버스 구조의 네트워크 중 차량에 이미 적용 중이고 신뢰성이 입증된 CAN(Controller Area Network)의 적용이 보편적이다. 이에 따라 로봇 내부 통신시스템의 성능평가를 통해 네트워크의 실시간성 및 신뢰성에 대한 분석이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 CAN기반의 로봇 내부 네트워크에 대한 성능평가시스템을 구성하고 네트워크 관리도구 및 응용 모듈 등을 개발하였으며 이를 이용하여 실제 CAN 통신 시스템에 대한 전송시간 및 표준편차를 분석함으로써 네트워크 시스템의 실시간성을 판단할 수 있음을 보인다.

네트워크 토폴로지에 따른 CAN-FD 통신 영향성 분석 (Performance Analysis of CAN-FD Based Network Against Network Topology)

  • The most common communication interface for automotive electronic control devices is CAN (Controller Area Network). Sine CAN was first adopted to Daimler vehicles in 1991, all of automobile manufacturers use the CAN communication for in-vehicle networks. However, as the number of electronic control devices connected to the CAN network rapidly increases, the CAN protocol reaches the limit of technology. To overcome this limitation, Bosch introduced the new communication protocol, that is CAN-FD (Flexible Data-rate). In this paper, we analyze the characteristics and limitations of CAN-FD communication according to the topology under the in-vehicle wiring harness environment designed based on the existing classic CAN communication.

  • The Controller Area Network (CAN) is being widely used in real-time control applications such as automobiles, aircraft, and automated factories. Unfortunately, CAN, in its current form, is not able to either share out the system bandwidth among the different devices fairly or to grant an upper bound on the transmission times experienced by the nodes connected to the communication medium as it happens, for instance, in the token-based networks. In this paper, we present An Application Layer Design for Humanoid Robot in the CAN. Besides introducing the new algorithm, this paper also presents some performance figures obtained using a specially developed software simulator and experimentation for composition of CAN which uses JTAG mode of a parallel debugging., while the behavior of the new algorithm is compared with the traditional CAN systems. in order to see how effective they are.
