약제에 의한 가잠교미아의 할애효과에 대하여 (Selection of Chemicals for Separation of Copulated Moth of Silkworm, Bombyx mori L.)

  • 잠종제조시 많은 잠종제조 노력을 성력화하기 위하여 누에 교미나방이의 할애제를 선발하고져 시중에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 몇 가지 약제를 서로 잘 배합하여 이의 할애효과를 실험한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 약제 처리별 경시적 할애비율에 있어서 TCTFE 처리구는 10분만에 완전히 할애되었고 그 다음은 TCT FE+acetone (87.5 : 12.5 v/v) 배합구와 TCTFE+acetic acid (50 : 50v/v) 배합구가 약제 처리후 25분에 완전히 할애되었다. 그 외 acetic acid 원액처리는 1시간 40분 후에 완전히 할애되었다. 2. 약제 처리별 산란 조사에 있어서는 TCTPE+acetone (87.5 : 12.5 v/v) 구가 아구별 평균 산란수 및 아구별 평균 수정란수를 보아도 약제 처리중에서 가장 성적이 좋았고 무처리구인 대조구에 비해서는 유의성이 인정되지 않았다. 그러나 TCTFE와 acetic acid 단일처리구는 대조구에 비해 산란수 및 수정란수 모두 대조구보다 적었으며 불산란아도 acetic acid구는 39아로서 가장 많아 acetic acid 단일처리시는 약해로 인하여 산란태율이 저하되는 것으로 사료된다. 3. 약제 처리에 의한 다음 세대에 어떠한 영향을 주는가를 알고자 약제 처리를 한 후 산란한 다음 세대잠란을 사육한 결과 전처리구가 경과일수 21일 23시간으로 대조구와 같았으며 화용비율, 수견양, 단견중, 견층중 및 견층비율 등의 실용형질은 대조구와 같은 수준으로 유의성이 인정되지 않았다. 이상을 종합하여 보면 처리구중 TCTFE구는 누에 교미나방이의 할애제로서 효과는 인정되나 누에의 생이와 관련하여 볼 때 단용처리보다는 TCTFE와 acetone 등 적당한 다른 유기용제를 선발하여 이들을 적당량배합하므로서 할애효과를 더 높힐 수 있다고 생각된다25%, 45.5%, 8%, 2.7%, 5% 및 29.3%를 배출하고 있었다. 4. 배출된 충체는 모두 암놈이 었다. 충체의 길이는 일자별로 20일에서 40일째까지 일정한 양상으로 발육하고 있었고, 각 일자별, 증례별로 충체 길이는 정규분포 형식으로 분포하고 있었다. 이상의 소견에서 요충 암놈의 인체내 발육기간은 40일 이상이고 감염후 16일째까지의 어린 충체는"메벤다졸"이 나 "피란텔"에 대해서 정도의 차이는 있으나 치료에 저항한다고 결론을 내릴 수 있었다. 양 바이러스 감염잠에서는 2개로 분리되었다. 8. 체액단백질의 전기영동상은 FV 및 DNV감염잠 공히 건전잠의 것과 유사하나, 바이러스 접종 8일 후에는 양적인 감소를 나타내어 건전잠의 약 40%에 지나지 않았다. 9. FV 감염중장조직을 pyronin-methyl green 2종 염색을 하여 광학현미경으로 관찰한 결과, 바이러스 접종 8일 후의 중장원동세포내에서 A형 및 B형 봉입체가 형성되었음을 확인하였다. 10. FV감염 중장조직세포의 전자현미경 관찰에서는 바이러스 접종 5일 후에 배상세포의 'cytoplasmic wall'이 비대해지고 그 내부에 virus-specific vesicle이 형성되었으며, 바이러스 접종 8일 후에는 virus-specific vesicle, 바이러스 입자, linear structure, tubular structure 및 전자밀도가 높은 matrix 등의 바이러스 감염에 대한 특이적인 구조물이 배상세포의 세포질에서 관찰되었으며, microvilli내에서 바이러스 입자의 존재도 확정되었다. 특히 virus-specific vesicle 주위에서는 전자밀도가 높은 구형의 바이러스 입자 유사체가 관찰되었는데, 이것은 virus-specific vesicle 주위에서 바이러스 조립이 일어나는 것을 추정된다

Effect of two-phase fabrication method for the optimum fit of light-polymerized record bases

  • PURPOSE. The aims of this study were to suggest a method of fabrication of the record base using a light-polymerized resin by applying the two-phase fabrication method for the improvement of the fit of the record base and to compare the degree of fit according to the separation site. MATERIALS AND METHODS. In the edentulous cast of maxilla, four test groups were considered. In the first, second, third, and fourth test groups (n = 12 in each group) the separation was done at 0, 5, 10, and 15 mm, respectively below the alveolar crest along the palatal plane. For the control group, the record base was made without separating the two sections. The light-body silicone material was injected into the fitting surface of the record base. It was then placed onto the cast and finger pressure was applied to stabilize it in a seated position followed by immediate placement onto the universal test device. Finally, the mass of the impression material was measured after it was removed. ANOVA was performed using the SAS program. For the post-hoc test, the Wilcoxon Rank-Sum test and the Tukey-Kramer HSD test were performed ($\alpha$ = 0.05). RESULTS. The control group and Group 3, 4 showed significant differences. The Group 3 and 4 showed significantly smaller inside gaps than the control group which was not made with the two-phase fabrication method. CONCLUSION. The two-stage polymerized technique can improve the fit of the denture base particularly when the separation was made at 10 to 15 mm from the alveolar crest.

  • 본 논문에서는 철도의 운영효율을 향상시킬 수 있는 무선통신에 기반을 둔 열차제어기술에 대해 연구하였다. 현재 국내에서 사용되고 있는 신호시스템은 궤도회로 기반의 열차제어시스템으로서 열차의 이동성과 안정성을 고려하여 사용한 기술이다. 최근의 세계적 추세는 열차간격을 고밀도로 제어하기 위해 새로운 패러다임으로 떠오르고 있는 무선통신기반 열차제어시스템이다. 국내에서도 이에 대한 기술 확보가 요구되며, 이에 따른 무선통신기반 열차제어시스템의 연구개발을 추진하였다. 본 논문에서는 열차제어시스템의 구성 중 핵심적인 요소인 차상제어장치를 개발하였고, 이를 수도권 광역전철중의 하나인 분당선의 전동차에 설치하여 시험한 결과를 설명하고 있다.

  • Importance of separation of a nonlinear dynamical system into nonlinear static part and linear dynamical part was insisted in designing a controller for the nonlinear system. We further proposed compensation techniques for oscillation of controlled variables caused by system time delay and compensation of steady state errors caused by modelling errors of the systems. The proposed principle of designing procedure and the compensation methods were discussed by applying them for temperature and level control of an actual tanked water system.

Effect of Ice accretion on the aerodynamic characteristics of wind turbine blades

  • Cold regions with high air density and wind speed attract wind energy producers across the globe exhibiting its potential for wind exploitation. However, exposure of wind turbine blades to such cold conditions bring about devastating impacts like aerodynamic degradation, production loss and blade failures etc. A series of wind tunnel tests were performed to investigate the effect of icing on the aerodynamic properties of wind turbine blades. A baseline clean wing configuration along with four different ice accretion geometries were considered in this study. Aerodynamic force coefficients were obtained from the surface pressure measurements made over the test model using MPS4264 Simultaneous pressure scanner. 3D printed Ice templates featuring different ice geometries based on Icing Research Tunnel data is utilized. Aerodynamic characteristics of both the clean wing configuration and Ice accreted geometries were analysed over a wide range of angles of attack (α) ranging from 0° to 24° with an increment of 3° for three different Reynolds number in the order of 105. Results show a decrease in aerodynamic characteristics of the iced aerofoil when compared against the baseline clean wing configuration. The key flow field features such as point of separation, reattachment and formation of Laminar Separation Bubble (LSB) for different icing geometries and its influence on the aerodynamic characteristics are addressed. Additionally, attempts were made to understand the influence of Reynolds number on the iced-aerofoil aerodynamics.

  • This paper addresses a method for nonlinear controller construction for a general nonlinear system with the separation of controller construction and manipulated values generation. The nonlinear system model is firstly expressed with the coefficients of state-depended representation. The nonlinear control is designed without any approximation based on the model with state-depended representation.   • Role-Based Access Control(RBAC) security policy is being widely accepted not only as an access control policy for information security but as both a natural modeling tool for management structure of organizations and flexible permission management framework in various commercial environments. Important functions provided by the current RBAC model are to administrate the information on the components of RBAC model and determine whether user's access request to information is granted or not, and most researches on RBAC are for defining the model itself, describing it in formal method and other important properties such as separation of duty. As the current RBAC model which does not define the definition, design and operation for applications is not suitable for automated information systems that consist of various applications, it is needed that how applications should be designed and then executed based on RBAC security model. In this paper, we describe dynamic properties of session which is taken for a passive entity only activated by users, as a vehicle for building and executing applications in an automated information systems. And, a framework for session-oriented separation of duty property, application design and operation is also presented.

  • This paper presents a new kurtosis-based algorithm for blind separation of convolutively mixed source signals. The algorithm whitens the signals not only spatially but also temporally beforehand. A separator is built for the whitened signals and it exists in the set of para-unitary matrices. Since the set forms a curved manifold, it is hard to treat its elements. In order to avoid the difficulty, this paper introduces the Cayley transformation for the para-unitary matrices. The transformed matrix is referred to as para-skew-Hermitian matrix and the set of such matrices forms a linear space. In the set of all para-skew-Hermitian matrices, the kurtosis-based algorithm obtains a desired separator. This paper also shows the algorithm's application to electrogastrogram datum which are observed by 4 electrodes on subjects' abdomen around their stomachs. An electrogastrogram contains signals from a stomach and other organs. This paper obtains independent components by the algorithm and then extracts the signal corresponding to the stomach from the data.

  • In this paper, the output feedback stabilizing problem is solved using any given state feedback control law. Compared to the linear systems is not so straightforward for nonlinear systems. We briefly explain the intrinsic obstructions for this problem and provide new output feedback scheme which achieves the semi-global stabilization with the high-gain state observer. THe overall uniform observability of the plant. Therefore, the result can be regarded as an extension of the separation principle for linear systems in some aspect.
