1kW 고체산화물 연료전지(SOFC) 시스템 설계 및 자열운전 (Design and Self-sustainable Operation of 1 kW SOFC System)

  • KEPRI (Korea Electric Power Research Institute) has studied planar type solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) stacks using anode-supported cells and kW class co-generation systems for residential power generation. In this work, a 1 kW SOFC system consisted of a hot box part, a cold BOP (balance of plant) part, and a hot water reservoir. The hot box part contained a SOFC stack made up of 48 cells, a fuel reformer, a catalytic combustor, and heat exchangers. Thermal management and insulation system were especially designed for self-sustainable operation in that system. A cold BOP part was composed of blowers, pumps, a water trap, and system control units. When the 1 kW SOFC stack was tested using hydrogen at $750^{\circ}C$, the stack power was about $1.2\;kW_e$ at 30 A and $1.6\;kW_e$ at 50 A. Turning off an electric furnace, the SOFC system was operated using hydrogen and city gas without any external heat source. Under self-sustainable operation conditions, the stack power was about $1.3\;kW_e$ with hydrogen and $1.2\;kW_e$ with city gas respectively. The system also recuperated heat of about $1.1\;kW_{th}$ by making hot water.

칩셋 페어링 접근제한시스템 환경에서 다중 셋톱박스를 지원하는 키 분배 기법 (Key Distribution Scheme for Supporting Multiple Set-Top Box in Chipset Pairing Conditional Access System)

  • 본 논문에서는 유연한 칩셋 페어링 접근제한시스템을 위한 새로운 키 분배 기법을 제안하였다. 칩셋 페어링 접근제한시스템은 셋톱박스에 내장된 보안 칩과 스마트카드를 함께 사용해 CA(Conditional Access) 모듈을 구현한 것으로, 셋톱박스에 내장된 보안 칩은 스마트카드와 셋톱박스 사이에 보안 채널을 형성한다. 즉, 스마트카드는 암호화된 제어단어를 셋톱박스로 출력하고, 셋톱박스는 내장된 보안 칩을 이용해 암호화된 제어단어를 복호화하는 시스템이다. 이 방식은 셋톱박스와 스마트카드를 바인딩 하는 방식으로 하나의 스마트카드는 정해진 하나의 셋톱박스에서만 사용이 가능하다는 단점을 가진다. 제안하는 키 분배 기법은 중국인의 나머지 정리를 이용하여 기존의 칩셋 페어링 접근제한시스템이 가지는 문제를 해결하였다. 우리의 키 분배 기법은 하나의 스마트카드를 다수의 셋톱박스에서 사용하는 것이 가능하며, 큰 변경 없이 현재의 칩셋 페어링 접근제한시스템에 적용이 가능하다는 장점을 가진다.

  • A vehicle driving simulator is a virtual reality device which a human being feels as if the one drives a vehicle actually. Driving Operation System acts as an interface between a driver and a driving simulator. This paper suggests the driving operation system for a driving simulator. This system consists of a controller, DC geared motor, MR brake, rotary encoders, steeping motor and bevel gear box. Reaction force and torque on the steering system were made by DC_Motor and MR_Brake. Reaction force and torque on the steering system were compare between real car and a driving simulator. The controller based on the 80C196KC micro processor that manage and transfer signal.

AV 기기를 위한 AC 입력 전류 모니터링 대기 전력 저감 시스템 (Reducing Standby Power Consumption System by Monitoring the AC Input Current for the AV Devices)

  • This paper proposes a system for reducing the standby power consumption in using the consumer electronic devices such as a television, a home theater, a set-top box, or a DVD player. The system is consisted of a flyback converter, monitoring circuits, a relay and a micro-processor. The proposed system can reduce the standby power consumption by disconnecting the AC input and the consumer devices can be turned on with a remote control. The proposed standby power system consumes the low power to receive the infrared signal from the remote controller. Furthermore, a electronic double layer capacitor is used to store the energy with high efficiency. The proposed power system can operate the 플라이백 converter to charge the electronic double layer capacitor and connect the AC input to the consumer electronic devices. The proposed power circuit can reduce the standby power consumption in AV devices without increasing the cost. The prototype is implemented to verify the system with the commercialized products.

캐드 환경에서 플라스틱 사출 금형 설계 시스템의 개발 (Development of Plastic Injection Mold Design System on the CAD Environment)

  • In this work, we have been concerned with developing an intelligent mold design system for plastic injection molding on the AutoCAD. We have concentrated on building a viable environment, including a mold parts database and a menu-driven user interface. This provides a more interactive and interface for selection of optimal mold-base and mold parts in mold design system. This work presents a method which allows the designer to select the mold parts and mold-base directly within an AutoCAD environment. It can also automatically generate detailed 3D drawings of the mold parts and mold-base. The system shows its potential capability for future enhancement. Since the system is independent of the data, it could easily be extended to other mold-bases and mold parts. In addition, it can be linked to the molding analysis system by creating subtracted 3-D models.

  • This paper concerns developing a integrated online/offline light facility management system for light facility using internet and building a database system for control box and street light. Also, we designed the system to minimize the disparity with the conventional management system by referring to a old management ledger format. Thus, the proposed method may enable the system manager to administer the light facility efficiently and to reduce the manpower cost, and time economically.

  • Blade pitch control system monitors and adjusts angle of the blades and controls rotation speed of blades. This paper shows 2MW pitch system hardware and electric part. Blade pitch system consists of pitch drive, gear box, motor and energy storage. Fieldbus is base on CANopen protocol. Fail-Safe system moves the blades to a safety position in case of any fault condition. The super capacitor energy storage provides emergency back up to the Pitch servo driver during feathering the blades. This paper studied Blade pitch servo driver and a bi-directional DC-DC converter for fail-safe system.

  • 교량 상시계측시스템을 이용하여 교량을 감지할 경우 지속적인 교량의 거동이력을 확인할 수 있어 손상의 진행을 관리자가 손쉽게 확인할 수 있으며, 지진이나 홍수와 같은 대규모의 재난상황이 발생할 경우 교량의 상태변화를 정량적으로 파악하여 교량 통제 및 통행제한 등 적절한 사전 조치 등 취할 수 있다. 또한 보수 및 보강 등의 교량 성능향상 작업시점을 적절하게 판단할 수 있어 생애주기를 통한 교량 유지관리 비용을 절감할 수 있다. 교량 상시계측시스템에 적용되고 있는 다양한 계측시스템의 계측항목별 관리 기준치 설정방법 중 범용 유한요소 해석프로그램을 이용하여 교량의 관리기준치를 설정하는 방법을 분석하고 강상자형교에 대한 계측항목별 관리기준을 설정하여 유한요소 해석프로그램을 통한 강상자형교 상시계측시스템 계측항목별 관리기준치 설정의 기준을 제시하였다.

칼만 필터와 뉴럴 네트워크 모델링을 이용한 연속생산공정의 통계적 공정관리 시스템 (Statistical Process Control System for Continuous Flow Processes Using the Kalman Filter and Neural Network′s Modeling)

  • This paper is concerned with the design of two residual control charts for real-time monitoring of the continuous flow processes. Two different control charts are designed under the situation that observations are correlated each other. Kalman-Filter based model estimation is employed when the process model is known. A black-box approach, based on Back-Propagation Neural Network, is also applied for the design of control chart when there is no prior information of process model. Performance of the designed control charts and traditional control charts is evaluated. Average run length(ARL) is adopted as a criterion for comparison. Experimental results show that the designed control chart using the Neural Network's modeling has shorter ARL than that of the other control charts when process mean is shifted. This means that the designed control chart detects the out-of-control state of the process faster than the others. The designed control chart using the Kalman-Filter based model estimation also has better performance than traditional control chart when process is out-of-control state.

안정된 로봇걸음걸이를 위한 견실한 제어알고리즘 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Robust control Algorithm for Stable Robot Locomotion)

  • This study presents new scheme for various walking pattern of biped robot under the limitted enviroments. We show that the neural network is significantly more attractive intelligent controller design than previous traditional forms of control systems. A multilayer backpropagation neural network identification is simulated to obtain a learning control solution of biped robot. Once the neural network has learned, the other neural network control is designed for various trajectory tracking control with same learning-base. The main advantage of our scheme is that we do not require any knowledge about the system dynamic and nonlinear characteristic, and can therefore treat the robot as a black box. It is also shown that the neural network is a powerful control theory for various trajectory tracking control of biped robot with same learning-vase. That is, we do net change the control parameter for various trajectory tracking control. Simulation and experimental result show that the neural network is practically feasible and realizable for iterative learning control of biped robot.
