OFDM-TDD 기반 이동 릴레이 시스템을 위한 다중 셀 분산형 릴레이 전력 제어 방법 (Distributed Relay Power Control Scheme for Multi-cell OFDM-TDD Based Mobile Relay System)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동성을 갖춘 릴레이를 도입한 다중 셀 OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)-TDD (Time Division Duplex) 시스템에서 각 셀의 수율을 개별적으로 최대화시키기 위한 분산형 이동 릴레이 전력 제어 방식 (Distributed Mobile Relay Power Control; DMRPC)을 제안한다. DMRPC 방식을 사용한 릴레이 시스템에서는 서로 다른 셀 간 협력과 그에 따른 시그널링 오버헤드 없이 각 셀에서 개별적으로 릴레이의 전력 레벨을 제어한다. DMRPC 방식을 사용한 시스템이 전력 제어 없이 릴레이를 사용한 최대 전력 릴레이 시스템과, 릴레이를 사용하지 않은 기존 시스템에 비하여 향상된 셀 수율 성능을 보이는 것을 모의 실험을 통하여 검증한다. 또한, 최대 전력 릴레이 시스템이 기존 시스템에 비해 셀 외곽 지역 평균 수율 성능이 떨어지는 반면, DMRPC 방식을 사용하면 기존 시스템에 거의 근접한 셀 외곽 지역 평균 수율 성능을 얻을 수 있는 것을 보인다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to design a robust adaptive control algorithm for a class of systems having continuous relay nonlinearity. This continuous relay nonlinearity can be defined as an analytic nonlinear function having unknown parameters and bounded unmodeling part. By this mathematical modeling, the whole system can be considered as a nonlinear system having unknown parameters and bounded perturbation. The control algorithm of this paper, RALC, can be constructed by robust adaptive law, feedback linearization, and indirect robust adaptive control. By this RALC, we can obtain that the output of given system can follow that of a stable reference linear model made by designer and the boundedness of all signals in closed-loop system can be maintained. Therefore, we can confirm a robust adaptive control for a class of systems having continuous relay nonlinearity.

Impact of Power Control Optimization on the System Performance of Relay Based LTE-Advanced Heterogeneous Networks

  • Decode-and-forward relaying is a promising enhancement to existing radio access networks and is already standardized in 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) as a part of long term evolution (LTE)-Advanced Release 10. Two inband operation modes of relay nodes are supported, namely type 1 and type lb. Relay nodes promise to offer considerable gain for system capacity or coverage, depending on the deployment prioritization, in a cost-efficient way. Yet, in order to fully exploit the benefits of relaying, the inter-cell interference which is increased due to the presence of relay nodes should be limited. Moreover, large differences in the received power levels from different users should be avoided. The goal is to keep the receiver dynamic range low in order to retain the orthogonality of the single carrier-frequency division multiple access system. In this paper, an evaluation of the relay based heterogeneous deployment within the LTE-Advanced uplink framework is carried out by applying the standardized LTE Release 8 power control scheme both at evolved node B and relay nodes. In order to enhance the overall system performance, different power control optimization strategies are proposed for 3GPP urban and suburban scenarios. A comparison between type 1 and type 1b relay nodes is as well presented to study the effect of the relaying overhead on the system performance in inband relay deployments. Comprehensive system level simulations show that the power control is a crucial means to increase the cell edge and system capacities, to mitigate inter-cell interference and to adjust the receiver dynamic range for both relay node types.

  • In this paper, intelligent methods using digital protection relay in power management and control system is developed in order to protect power systems by means of timely fault detection during operation and control at starting for induction motor which have various load environments and capacities in power systems. The digital protective relay was designed with DSP CPU(TMS320C31) to Protect and measure more quickly and precisely. The test result on the basis of KEMCl120 and IEC60255, show that the operation time error of the digital motor protection relay is improved within $\pm$5%. Also, we can control motors at starting according to starting types with simple method as programmable sequence editor. So we can improve the demerits of high cost and much manhour for rework.

3GPP LTE-Advanced 시스템의 Relay 환경에서 효율적인 Serving Cell 선택을 위한 Power Control 기법 (Power Control Scheme for Effective Serving Cell Selection in Relay Environment of 3GPP LTE-Advanced System)

  • 본 논문에서는 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) LTE (Long Term Evolution)-Advanced 시스템의 Relay 환경에서 효율적 serving cell 선택을 위한 power control 기법을 제안한다. Relay를 사용하는 환경에서 UE가 백홀 링크의 채널 상태를 고려하지 못하는 기존의 serving cell 선택 과정은 백홀 링크 (backhaul link)가 좋지 않은 상황에서도 액세스 링크 (access link)가 다이렉트 링크 (direct link)보다 채널 상태가 좋다면 RN (Relay Node)을 serving cell로 선택하여 최대 throughput을 얻을 수 없는 문제점을 갖는다. 또한, 제안된 기존의 해결 기법인 eNB (evolved NodeB)나 RN이 백홀 링크의 채널 정보를 리포팅하는 방식은 추가적인 데이터 전송이 필요하고, UE (User Equipment)가 백홀 링크의 채널 상태까지 고려하여 serving cell을 선택하기 때문에 serving cell 선택 과정의 복잡도가 증가하며, 백홀 링크의 채널 상태가 좋지 않아서 serving cell을 eNB로 선택한 경우에 RN에 의한 강한 간섭의 영향으로 수산 신호가 열화되는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서, 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 RN이 백홀 링크의 수신 SINR (Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio) 에 따라 송신 전력을 조절하는 power control 기법을 제안하며, 다양한 모의실험을 이용한 성능 분석을 통해 제안하는 방식이 3GPP LTE-Advanced 시스템의 Relay 환경에서 매우 유용한 것을 입증하였다.

릴레이 제어법을 이용한 유연 판상체의 정전부상에 관한 연구 (Electrostatic Suspension System of Flexible Objects using Relay Feedback Control)

  • A design and control of electrostatic suspension system for flexible objects is presented. A number of electrode pairs of which the number depends on the object flexibility are positioned above the object and the voltages applied to each electrode pair are controlled, independently on the others, on the basis of the gap length. To implement the system with low cost and compactness, switched-voltage control scheme that is based on the relay feedback control is utilized. Relay feedback control method deploys only a single high-voltage power supply that can deliver a DC voltage of positive and/or negative polarity and thus high voltage amplifiers that are costly and bulky are not needed any more. It is shown that despite the inherent limit cycle property of the relay feedback based control, an excellent performance in vibration suppression is attained due to the presence of a relatively large squeeze film damping originating from the electrodes and levitated object. Employing fourteen electrode pairs, a thin aluminum plate with a thickness of 0.1 mm has been suspended at a gap length of 0.75mm.

  • It is very difficult to control batch reactor with conventional linear controller due to its severe nonlinearity. To control the nonlinearity of batch reactor, we applied with relay feedback method and SOAS. The SOAS can be designed to work quite well, but it requires engineering effect and some knowledge about the process in order to get a satisfactory performance of the closed loop system For the applications to more reliable, further studies on robustness in various situations and process noises and would be required.

  • Domestic Foreign automaker's are focused on the high-efficiency, low emission cars development. On the way, the hybrid car is the first priority. Hybrid electric vehicle battery pack configurations, EV Relay one of the key components of the engine driving, to assist in the drive motor to supply electrical energy to the battery is a device for opening and closing of the output device. EV Relay determine the longevity and the replacement cycle, The EV Relay environmental conditions and duty cycle considering the reliability tests are essential requirements of many automotive companies to respond to RFQ, this test is essential. This paper using Maxwell Software for Prediction of the Ev Relay impulse, the theoretical data to obtain the impulse to develop methods for mechanical testing after to take advantage of it.

  • Various auto-tuning methods using relay feedback are presented recently. They are composed of the consecutive procedures identifying Nyquist critical point using relay feedback and designing PID controller by one point of Nyquist plot mapping. This paper suggests a strategy to get the knowledges of Nyquist critical point and the neighborhood point of it using relay feedback. The parameters of PID controller are established by dominant pole approximation based on these knowledges. Designers can make use of the damping ratio as a time domain specification. So design flexibilities are taken in view of stability and performance of the system response considering practical system condition.

  • At present. distance relay and ${\Delta}I$ current increment relay are used as primary and secondary protection in the AC feeder system. However. electric railway vehicles according to power electronic's development had developed resistance control, thyristor phase control and PWM control system. and operation of train is increasing in a feeder section. Therefore this paper analyzes the load characteristics and situation of relay's maloperation caused by load current increase, harmonics, regenerative braking current and operation of the different vehicles in same feeder section. Based on this analysis. this paper proposes consideration items for relay correction and advanced adaptive relay that can change operation area according to load current.
