Thermal imaging is mainly used in military equipment required for night observation. In particular, technologies of uncooled thermal imaging detectors are being developed as applied to low-cost night observation system. Many system integrators require different specifications of the uncooled thermal imaging camera but their development time is short. In this approach, EOSYSTEM has developed a small size, TEC-less uncooled thermal imaging camera module with $32{\times}32mm$ size and low power consumption. Both domestic detector and import detector are applied to the EOSYSTEM's thermal imaging camera module. The camera module contains efficient infrared image processing algorithms including : Temperature compensation non-uniformity correction, Bad/Dead pixel replacement, Column noise removal, Contrast/Edge enhancement algorithms providing stable and low residual non-uniformity infrared image.

Four to seven percent of infants born with aortic atresia have a normal-sized left ventricle in association with a ventricular septal defect and a normal mitral valve. In contrast to the more common group of infants with aortic atresia whose left ventricle is hypoplastic, this important subgroup has potential for complete operative correction involving both the right and left ventricle. Our approach was to perform complete repair at one stage. The patient who underwent single-stage repair was discharged from the hospital in good condition. Achieving a physiologically normal circulation simplifies the postoperative management of this condition.

The k-$\varepsilon$ turbulence models by Launder et al.(1977, LPS) and Leschziner and Rodi(1981, LR) are modified to account for the secondary straining effect with having a generality in the present paper. The modified models are obtained by replacing the gradient Richardson number used to account for the secondary straining effect in the original models by a new parameter with a tensor-invariant correction form. These two modified models are used to predict the turbulent flow over a backward-facing step. In contrast to both standard and modified LR models, the modified LPS model is found to predict the reattachment point fairy well, as well as mean velocity, wall static pressure, turbulent kinetic energy and Reynolds shear stress in the recirculating region.

Loop transversal codes take an alternative approach to the theory of error-correcting codes, placing emphasis on the set of errors that are to be corrected. Hitherto, the loop transversal code method has been restricted to linear codes. The goal of the current paper is to extend the conceptual framework of loop transversal codes to admit nonlinear codes. We present a natural example of this nonlinearity among perfect single-error correcting codes that exhibit efficient domination in a circulant graph, and contrast it with linear codes in a similar context.

This paper describes a normalized numeric image descriptor used to assess the luminance and contrast of the image. The proposed image descriptor used the each pixel data as weighted value of the probability density function (PDF) and defined by normalization in order to objective represent. The proposed image numeric descriptor can be used to the adaptive gamma process because it suggests the objective basis of the gamma value selection.

We consider the problem of architecting a reliable content delivery system across an overlay network using TCP connections as the transport primitive. We first argue that natural designs based on store-and-forward principles that tightly couple TCP connections at intermediate end-systems impose fundamental performance limitations, such as dragging down all transfer rates in the system to the rate of the slowest receiver. In contrast, the ROMA architecture we propose incorporates the use of loosely coupled TCP connections together with fast forward error correction techniques to deliver a scalable solution that better accommodates a set of heterogeneous receivers. The methods we develop establish chains of TCP connections, whose expected performance we analyze through equation-based methods. We validate our analytical findings and evaluate the performance of our ROMA architecture using a prototype implementation via extensive Internet experimentation across the PlanetLab distributed testbed.

Congenital supravalvar aortic stenosis is an obstruction caused by localized or diffuse narrowing of the aortic lumen commencing immediately above the aortic valve. We experienced a case of diffuse supravalvar aortic stenosis involving ascending aorta from just above the sinuses of Valsalva to the proximal l cm of the innominate artery. Supravalvar aortic stenosis in this patient, in contrast to the form seen in infants and children, was not associated with mental retardation, peculiar faces or the syndrome of hypercalcemia. Diagnosis was confirmed by retrograde left heart catheterization and left ventriculography. Surgical correction was performed by the replacement of oval shaped Woven Dacron patch over the narrow segment of aorta under the cardiopulmonary bypass. Blood pressure was controlled sufficiently with some adjunct of Inderal postoperatively. The patient was discharged with much improvement.

본 논문에서는 X-선 혈관 조영 영상 내 심혈관의 추출 방법을 제안한다. 본 방법은 불균일 조명 보정 필터를 사용함으로써 X-선 영상 내에서 나타나는 일정하지 않은 contrast, 낮은 명암도 및 불균일 조명 문제를 해결한다. 또한 영상의 지역적인 밝기 값의 변화의 특징을 고려하면서 분할 대상영역의 각 픽셀들의 2 차 미분((second partial derivation)을 행렬의 요소(element)로 갖는 Hessian 행렬의 고유치 (eigenvalue)를 영역확장의 문턱치 결정에 이용하여 전역적인 밝기값(intensity)만을 사용하는 분할의 단점을보완하였다.

"San-Jia-Zhu" is the integrated study of "Shi-Ji" of the Sui and Tang dynasty. First, he paid attention to the contrast between different versions very much, to determine the word errors using the similarities and differences between different versions of the diffracted off. This draft is $\ll$Shiji${\gg}$ from ancient Chinese research methods to explore the characters, phonology, syntax, exegesis, collation of historical value.

When investigating the droplet, spray, and impact of liquid on a solid plate, backlight imaging has been widely used to understand these phenomena. However, some previous studies have suffered from poor image quality. In this study, various combinations of image processing algorithms, such as white image correction, histogram equalization, CLAHE, Otsu's binarization, and multi-Otsu's binarization, have been applied to flash boiling spray images to enhance image quality for qualitative observation and semi-quantitative spray angle evaluation. To acquire images with high contrast for qualitative observation, applying CLAHE was effective, making small droplets and detailed shapes of the jet noticeable. However, when images were averaged to determine spray angle or penetration length based on intensity, this method induced artifact unphysical patterns, thus requiring careful consideration. Based on the algorithm proposed in this study, the spray angle variation according to injection pressure and temperature has been calculated, showing a reasonable trend.
