  • This paper proposes a spoken Korean processing model which is extensible to large vocabulary continuous spoken Korean system. The integration of phoneme level speech recognition with natural language processing can support a sophisticated phonological/morphological analysis. The model consists of a diphone speech recognizer, a viterbi dictionaly searcher and a morpheme connectivity information checker. Two-level hierarchical TDNNs recognize newly defined Korean diphones. The diphone sequences are segmented and converted to the most probable morpheme sequences by the Viterbi dictionary searcher. The morpheme sequency are then examined by the morpheme connectivity information checker and the correct morpheme sequence which has the greatest probability is collected. The experiments show that the morphological analysis for spoken Korean can be achieved for 328 Eojeols with 80.6% success rate.

  • The baby makes very great strides in the first year of his life. The developmental principles may be summarised as follows : first, the continuous process from conception to maturity, second, the physical manifestation of neural maturation, third, the cephalocaudal direction, from proximal to distal, fourth generalized mass activity to specific individual responses, fifth, reflex dominance to integration. The stages of normal movement development an head control, rolling creeping(on belly), sitting crawling(on hands and on knees), standing and walking. The knowledge of normal movement development needs for the assessment treatment and management of C.N.S. injuried infant.

  • This paper describes the continuous flow operation of membraneless sodium perborate fuel cell using acid/alkaline bipolar electrolyte. Here, hydrazine is used as a fuel and sodium perborate is used as an oxidant under Alkaline-acid media configuration. Sodium perborate affords hydrogen peroxide in aqueous medium. In our operation, the laminar flow based microfluidic membranleless fuel cell achieved a maximum power density of $27.2mW\;cm^{-2}$ when using alkaline hydrazine as the anolyte and acidic perborate as the catholyte at room temperature with a fuel mixture flow rate of $0.3mL\;min^{-1}$. The simple planar structured membraneless sodium perborate fuel cell enables high design flexibility and easy integration of the microscale fuel cell into actual microfluidic systems and portable power applications.

  • This study investigates predictors of continuance intention and purchase intention in mobile application(App) stores. This study identifies the structural relationships among app store quality, user habit, switching costs, user loyalty, continuance intention, and purchase intention in mobile application stores. The results indicate that user loyalty increases continuance intention and purchase intention and that user habit positively affects perceived switching costs and user loyalty. App store quality is a formative construct including quality of content, ease of use, and security. App store quality affects user habit positively. This study theoretically and practically contributes to the integration of influential factors for continuance intention as well as purchase intention.

  • This research has been focused upon and analyzing Medison, once a leading New Technology-Based Finn (N1BF) in Korea with exceptionally advanced technology in 3D ultrasound diagnostic imaging devices (UDIDs) (armored with 23 subsidiaries at its peak expansion), from the perspective of Dynamic Finn Capability(DFC). The underlying hypothesis is that the various problems from its pointless pursuit of the business styles or precedents of the existing large firms might be traced to its specific characteristics as an NTBF, which should have more preferably been based upon the distinctive competences such as differentiated technologies, institutional linkages, organizational routines, and complementary assets, etc. In conclusion, for the NTBFs with different DFC domains from those of the large firms, the optimal external linkages and comprehensive integration efforts (Process) under their specific organizational characteristics and constraints (path) are highly recommended for the continuous accumulation of their core capabilities based upon the technological assets (Position).

  • Because, next generation web, semantic web consists of documents with semantic information, it enables computer interpret the contents of the documents, so that the information retrieval, interpretation and integration can be automated. The web documents with the semantic information may be made in ontology. In this paper, collaborative approach among the ontology design techniques is more excellent than the other techniques because it design the ontology through continuous evaluations and modification in terms of multiple views. So, we propose the process of designing and implementing the ontology for specific domain, which is Yeomigi tour place. Delphi technique, that is a kind of collaborative approach, is used when the ontology is designed.

  • A variety of medical devices are utilized to repair or help injured body functions after accidental injury(such as a traffic accident), population aging, or disease. Such medical devices are being actively researched and developed in portable form, skin patchable type, and further, implantable form. In the future, active implantable medical devices for neuro and brain sciences are expected to be developed. Active implantable medical devices that detect brain signals and control neurology for a wider understanding of human cognition and nerve functions, and for an understanding and treatment of various diseases, are being actively pursued for future use. In this paper, the core elements of implantable devices that can be applied to neuro and brain sciences are classified into electrode technologies for bio-signal acquisition and stimulation, analog/digital circuit technologies for signal processing, human body communication technologies, wireless power transmission technologies for continuous device use, and device integration technologies to integrate them. In each chapter, the latest technology development trends for each detailed technology field are reviewed.

  • Here we report the architecture for a non-volatile n-type memory paper field-effect transistor. The device is built using the hybrid integration of natural cellulose fibers (pine and eucalyptus fibers embedded in an ionic resin), which act simultaneously as substrate and gate dielectric, with amorphous GIZO and IZO oxides as gate and channel layers, respectively. This is complemented by the use of continuous patterned metal layers as source/drain electrodes.

  • To simulate the large-scale failure evolution with current computational facilities, a simple approach, that catches the essential feature of failure mechanisms, must be available so that the routine use of failure analysis is feasible. Based on the previous research results, a simple analysis procedure is described in this paper for failure simulation. In this procedure, the evolution of localization is represented by a moving surface of discontinuity, and the transition between continuous and discontinuous failure modes are described via the moving jump forms of conservation laws. As a result, local plasticity and damage models, that are formulated based on thermodynamic restrictions, are still valid without invoking higher order terms, and simple integration schemes can be designed for the rate forms of constitutive models. To resolve localized large deformations and subsequent cracking, an efficient structural solution scheme is given for Static and dynamic problems.

  • A distributed nonlinear mathematical model for investigation of regenerative heat exchangers of both a continuous and periodic operation is described in the paper. The non-iterative numerical integration scheme for conjugate unsteady heat exchange problem of one dimensional flows and two dimensional matrix wall conductivity is developed. Case study of a regenerative heat exchanger with a rotary ceramic matrix is presented. The range of optimum rotation rates of the regenerator providing the greatest calorific efficiency is determined.
