방사선사의 보수교육에 관한 연구 : 보수교육 현황 및 만족도를 중심으로 (A Study on the Continuing Education of Radiologic Technologists : Focused on Current Status and Satisfaction of Continuing Education)

  • 본 연구는 방사선사 보수교육의 현황을 파악하고 전반적인 평가와 개선방향을 모색하기 위하여 보수교육에 참가한 방사선사 93명을 대상으로 보수교육 실태와 만족도 및 요구도를 조사하였다. 설문은 크게 보수교육 참여도, 만족도, 요구도로 나누어 조사를 하였다. 또한 방사선사 보수교육 규정 등 관련 자료를 수집하여 보수교육 이수현황 및 관리체계를 분석하였다. 그 결과 2010년부터 2012년 까지 방사선사의 보수교육 이수율은 각각 42.6%, 43.4 %, 34.2%로 의료기사의 평균 이수율과 비슷한 비율을 보였다. 보수교육에 대한 참여도는 연간 5회 이상 10회 미만의 경우가 48.4%로 가장 많았고, 만족도는 보통(3)이 34.4%로 가장 많았다. 보수교육 요구도에 대해 조사한 결과 전공분야의 임상기술에 대한 교육을 원한다는 응답이 32.8%로 가장 많았다. 보수교육은 형식적인 교육 이수가 아닌 방사선사의 실력향상 및 자기개발에 도움을 줄 수 있는 방향으로 운영할 필요가 있다. 또한 방사선사의 요구도에 따라 보수교육의 질적 향상과 만족도를 높여야 할 것이다.

개발도상국 의사들의 역량강화를 위한 임상연수 프로그램의 효과 (The Effect of a Clinical Training Program for Capacity Building of Medical Doctors in a Developing Country)

  • Mongolia is suffering from the inadequate capacity of medical doctors due to a poor education and training system. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the effect of a clinical training program for capacity building of medical doctors in Mongolia, and to suggest an effective model for continuing professional development in developing countries. Based on the results of a needs assessment, Korean and Mongolian medical experts developed a clinical training program and trained the trainers on 32 topics regarding major clinical problems in 6 specialties, including cardiology, endocrinology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, and emergency medicine. Surveillance survey and pre/post-test were used on every topic to evaluate the satisfaction and achievement, respectively, of the trainees. Six months after the clinical training program, we interviewed a sample of medical professionals to evaluate the change and impact. A total of 612 (person-year) medical doctors participated in the training, and the average score for satisfaction was 7.69 out of 8. The average score of the pre-test was 46.9 out of 100, while the post-test was 82.4. After the training, the medical doctors were applying their new knowledge and skills to their practice, and using the materials as guidelines, which improved their practice and increased patient satisfaction. They also started their own training program and adopted new equipment at their hospitals. The satisfaction and achievement of the trainees were very high, and there was significant change in the medical practice, education system, and infrastructure after the training program. This training program can be an effective model for capacity building of medical doctors in developing countries.

보육교직원 (Childcare Staff)

  • 우리나라는 양적으로 확대된 어린이집의 보육서비스 질을 제고하기 위해 2005년 1월 영유아보육법을 개정하면서 보육교사의 자격 기준을 강화하였다. 이후 원장의 국가자격증 도입, 명칭 변경, 원장과 보육교사 자격기준 강화와 보수교육 체계 정비, 보육교사 자격취득 보육관련 교과목 및 학점기준 강화, 2012년에는 보수교육 보육교사자격검정 등 업무위탁관련 조항을 정비하는 등 보육교직원 관련 법적 근거의 변화가 있었다. 이는 보육교직원이 보육의 질 향상과 밀접한 관련이 있으며 영유아에게 직접적인 영향력을 주는 매우 중요한 변인이기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 보육교직원과 관련된 법적 근거 규정이 계속 강화되고 있는 시점에서 문헌조사와 분석을 통해 보육교직원의 현황과 발전방향을 서술하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 크게 3가지 측면을 다루고 있다. 첫째, 보육교직원 관련 역사적 흐름을 리뷰하고 보육교직원의 개념과 역할, 전문성, 법적지위를 조사 분석하였다. 둘째, 보육교직원의 양성기관, 자격체계, 재직 보육교직원, 처우의 현황을 조사하였다. 셋째, 이 모든 것을 토대로 양성체계, 자격기준, 보수교육과 훈련체계, 처우개선 및 지위 향상을 위한 발전방향을 제안하였다.

영국의 NHS 병원약사 수련 현황 (NHS Hospital Pharmacist Training Programme in UK)

  • The aim of the research was to explore post-registration training opportunities for NHS hospital pharmacists which contributes to promote structural reform of the professional development and lifelong learning for Korean hospital pharmacists. In UK, all pharmacists are required to complete at least 9 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) entries per each year to maintain their professional registration. Types of accredited postgraduate qualification (part-time) in Pharmacy Practice available for hospital pharmacists are Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert, year 1), Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip, year 2), Master of Science (MSc year 3), and Professional Doctorate in Pharmacy programme (DPharm, 4-5 years or more). Clinical pharmacy diploma is more likely to become a minimum qualification in order to progress whilst working for the NHS. Pharmacy independent prescribers are allowed to prescribe all medications except cocaine, dipipanone, and diamorphine for the purpose of treating addiction within their competencies. NHS pharmacists are also classified by band point system depending on their practical/clinical knowledge and skills which starting from band 5 (Pre-registration pharmacist) up to band 9. Various learning and development options are also offered including teaching sessions, conferences and local forums.

의료기관 종별 간호사의 임상간호교육 참여 현황과 보수교육 요구 분석 (Analysis of Participation Status in Clinical Nursing Education and Needs for Continuing Education among Clinical Nurses according to Hospital Type)

  • Purpose: This study investigates the participation status in clinical nursing education and nurses' continuing education needs to develop educational programs. Methods: Participants were 227 nurses working in medical institutions where nursing students practiced, and the selection criteria were nurses with more than two years of clinical education experience; data were collected using structured questionnaires. Results: More than half of the clinical nurses had completed a preceptor training program for clinical nursing education, and the subjects mainly educated by nurses were new graduate nurses and nursing students. The obstacles to clinical nursing education were lack of compensation, lack of manpower, lack of patient nursing time, excessive workload, and lack of knowledge as educators. The educational methods preferred in continuing education were small-group workshops and online education. The desired educational topics in continuing education were current nursing practice standards, simulation nursing education, and the role of clinical nursing educators. Conclusion: Based on our results, it is necessary to understand the importance of clinical nursing education, which is essential for clinical nurses, to prepare a specific system for them and to develop and operate a systematic education program according to medical institutions' characteristics.

Perceived Competency, Frequency, Training Needs in Physical Assessment among Registered Nurses

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify registered nurses learning needs about physical assessment. Specifically, what are the perceived competency, frequency of skill use and the unmet training needs. Methods: The study was an exploratory survey study. The sample was 104 registered nurses. Data were collected through three instruments: The Perceived Competency in Physical Assessment Scale, the Frequency of Physical Assessment Scale, and the Training Needs of Physical Assessment Scale which incorporated 30 core Physical Assessment skills. Descriptive statistics, t-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data. Results: Auscultation of heart and lung sounds and inspection of the spine were rated by the subjects as physical assessment skills they feel least competent and also were less frequently performed. The most competent area for physical assessment was neurological system. The respiratory and abdominal system was identified as two systems that more education would be needed. Nurses with less than one year of working experience reported needing more training. Nurses with more than five years of clinical work experience performed physical assessment more frequently than nurses with less than five year of work experience. The perceived competency was positively related to the frequency of physical assessment. Conclusion: Continuing education is necessary to further train registered nurses regarding physical assessment skills and the program needs to be focused on the area which nurses are less competent for and have high training need.

충청북도지역 학교급식의 위생교육 운영현황 및 조리종사원의 실천수준 평가 (A Study on the Perception and Practice of Sanitation Training Program at School Foodservice Operations in Chungbuk Province)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the perception level about food safety of school foodservice dietitians and employees and to assess their food hygiene practice level in school foodservice operation in Chungbuk Province. A questionnaire survey of 250 dietitians and 744 employees at school food service operations was conducted and 143 and 421 respective responses were available for this study. The collected data were analyzed using SAS V8.2 for windows. The main results of this study can be summarized as follows: 98.60% of respondent school foodservice dietitians operated sanitation training programs one time or more per month. As for the reason why the program was not performed at frequent intervals, the majority of the dietitians and employees attributed it to the conventional practices. The employees' perception level of importance about sanitary training program was marked at 4.31(out of 5 scale). The employees' performance level of sanitary training program was ranked above 4.0 point(out of 5 scale) in the 26 items out of the total of 29 items. The results indicated that there was positive correlation between perception level and performance level of sanitation training program. The findings suggest that continuing sanitary education is important to ensuring food safety at school foodservice operations.

  • 이 연구는 어린이사서의 전문성 개발에 대해 논의하고 있다. 이를 위해 어린이사서의 자질과 역할을 살펴보고, 어린이사서의 양성과 관련한 문헌정보학 교육과정과 사서재교육과정의 운영실태를 살펴보았으며 그 문제점을 분석하였다. 이후 어린이사서의 전문성개발을 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

유아영어교사의 자질과 양성 교과목에 관한 실태연구 (A Study on the Qualifications of Early Childhood English Teachers and Curricula for Early Childhood English Teachers in Training)

  • This study examined educational and career backgrounds of 180 early childhood English teachers and curricula of training courses for early childhood English teachers in continuing education centers across 6 areas in Korea. Data analyses showed that (1) curricula for early childhood English teachers consists of basic practical conversation, English teaching skills, understanding early childhood education and general English knowledge. (2) Most teachers are women between 30 to 40 years of age, university graduates with majors in English literature, English education and/or early childhood education with confidence in speaking in and listening to English. (3) They were satisfied with their retraining courses. (4) English pronunciation skill was not always related to English conversation skill, but clarity of pronunciation influenced teaching confidence.

사서교육훈련 효과성 입증을 위한 평가체계 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study on Development of Evaluation System for Demonstrating Effectiveness of Librarian Education Program)

  • 교육훈련 평가는 교육프로그램과 관련한 내용을 측정, 관찰하여 품질을 평가하고 이를 통해 교육훈련 변경에 대한 근거를 제공하는 행위이다. 국립중앙도서관은 사서교육 훈련프로그램 교육과정의 성과와 질을 제고할 수 있는 평가방법의 도입이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구는 국립중앙도서관의 사서교육훈련 직무교육의 효과성을 객관적이고 복합적으로 측정할 수 있는 평가모형을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 Kirkpatrick의 4단계 평가모형을 적용하였으며, 선행연구, 국립중앙도서관 사서교육훈련 교육과정 현황조사, 이해관계자 요구분석을 실시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 사서교육훈련 평가체계 방향성을 설정하기 위한 평가체계 및 평가도구를 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과는 실제 국립중앙도서관 사서교육훈련과정의 현실적인 평가체계로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
