스마트 홈은 유비쿼터스 환경의 각종 센서와 정보가전에서 얻어지는 데이터에서 사용자의 Context를 추출하여 사용자에게 적응적인 서비스를 제공한다 지금까지의 Context는 사용자가 한 명일 경우를 가정하였지만 실제 집이라는 공간은 가족이라는 구성원이 함께 생활하는 공간으로 동시에 여러 개의 Context가 존재하며 이러한 Context는 서로 충돌할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 집에서 여러 Context들 간에 충돌이 일어났을 때 이를 해결하는 방법을 제안한다. 집은 여러 사용자가 공유하고 있지만 각 구성원의 침실이나 화장실처럼 한 개인의 영역이 존재한다 또한 침실은 쉬는 곳, 주방은 요리를 하고 음식을 먹는 곳, 거실은 가족끼리의 모임을 갖거나 TV 시청, 음악감상 등의 여가를 즐기는 곳 등 공간마다 나름의 용도를 가지고 있다 본 논문은 Context들간의 충돌을 조정을 위해 이러한 공간의 특성을 이용할 것을 제안한다.

In the last few years, there is growing interest in the field of simultaneous equation estimation in finance due to the endogeneity problem caused by measurement errors, simultaneity, or omitted variables. This study aims to discuss the endogeneity problem in corporate financing decisions and investigate the interrelationship of financial decision-making such as investment decision, dividend decision, and external financing decision in Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) using two-stage least squares (2SLS) and generalized method of moment (GMM) estimation. The Bruech-Pagan test shows that the data has no heteroskedasticity issue and 2SLS is a better approach in the context of this study as compared to the GMM approach, and internal instruments are also sufficiently strong and valid. The three financial decision-making attributes are not jointly determined, and the dividend is influenced by one-sided investment. In the emerging stock market context, external financing and investment are not inter-related and did not affect each other. The question of whether the simultaneous equation estimation can be useful in the context of the emerging stock markets and newly-growing firms remains unanswered. The inclusive evidence shows that the theoretical link in the emerging stock market is difficult to prove like in developed stock markets.

In ubiquitous environment, information retrieval using collaborative filtering is a popular technique for reducing information overload. Collaborative filtering systems can produce personal recommendations by computing the similarity between your preference and the one of other people. We integrate the collaboration filtering method and context-aware information retrieval method. The proposed method enables to find some relevant information to specific user's contexts. It aims to makes more effective information retrieval to the users. The proposed method is conceptually comprised of two main tasks. The first task is to tag context tags by automatic tagging technique. The second task is to recommend items for each user's contexts integrating collaborative filtering and information retrieval. We describe a new integration method algorithm and then present a u-commerce application prototype.

As pervasive computing technology, which aims to get linked to useful knowledge, information or services anytime, anywhere, using any devices and/or artifacts, is proliferating, desirable impacts on knowledge management systems are now available. The pervasive computing technology will potentially enable the knowledge management systems to realize individualization and socialization and ultimately increase the knowledge processing productivity. However, researchers who apply the pervasive computing methodologies to novel way of knowledge management have been very few. These result in unsatisfactory consideration of establishing pervasive knowledge management systems. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to cast the vision of pervasive knowledge management and search for a couple of possible research issues and possibilities. This paper suggests a framework of ubiDSS, an amended knowledge management system for the next generation deploying pervasive and autonomous knowledge acquisition capabilities of ubiquitous computing technologies. Also the CKAM, context-based knowledge acquisition module, is illustrated as a prototype of future knowledge management systems.

적응 서비스는 사용자들이 접근하는 상황의 끊임없는 변화를 반영하기 위하여 필요하다. 상황-인식은사용자 상황에 기반하여 사용자와 기기간의 상호운용성을 지원함으로서 정보 획득과 수행을 증대시키는 기술이다. 본 연구는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에서 상황-인식을 다루는데 필요한 미들웨어를 개발하는 것을 그 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 수행하기 위해서 본 연구에서 개발한 미들fil어는 블루투스 무선통신기술을 사용하여 이동시의 이동노드를 인식하고, 컨텍스트 서버에서 획득한 상황에 따라서 적절한 수행모듈을 수행하는데 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 또한, 개발한 미들웨어를 사용한 상황 정보에 따라서 음악 연주 서비스를 제공하는 응용 프로그램을 개발하여 미들웨어의 유용성을 확인하였다.

상황인식 컴퓨팅에서의 불확실성은 주로 상황 획득 메커니즘과 상황처리의 복잡성에 영향을 준다. 상황인식 어플리케이션에 불확실성이 존재하면 어플리케이션에 사용자 만족도에 손상을 주고 이를 쓸모없게 만든다. 본 논문은 상황에 대한 불확실성의 원천을 식별하고, 불확실한 상황정보를 표현하며 이들을 처리하는 방법을 결정할 수 있는 세 가지 전략을 제시하였다. 센서네트워크시스템은 특성상시스템전 과정에 사람의 개입이 없기 때문에 상황정보에 대한 불확실성을 제거하는 노력의 수준에 따라 시스템의 신뢰도에 영향을 주게 된다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 기법을 센서네트워크 시스템 개발에 적용하여, 불확실성 관리가 시스템개발 수명주기의 한 부분으로 적용이 될 수 있으며, 시스템을 실험한 결과 안정정인 탐지 성능을 나타냄을 확인할 수 있었다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술이 발전함에 따라 상황인지는 유비쿼터스 환경을 구성하는 중요한 요소들 중의 하나로 안정되고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 모든 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에 적용될만한 일반적인 상황모형 (generic context model)은 제시되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문의 목적은 혼합형 다단계(hybrid multi-level) 다이어그램을 이용해 보다 적합한 일반적 상황모형을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존의 다양한 상황 모형들을 분석하고 이를 토대로 유비쿼터스 지능 공간에서의 컴퓨팅 시스템 환경에 적합한 일반적 상황모형을 제안하였다.

Recently, because most of buildings in the city become bigger and higher, so various convenient facilities and high-tech management skills are required to prevent potential disasters. Especially, because fires in huge buildings can cause serious damage, technologies and methods that help people quickly and safely to escape from the building is very important to extinguish the fire in initial state and to minimize the damage. This paper suggests a context-aware service system that can provide optimal escape routes to tenants with their smart-phones. The proposed system collects contexts with real time through USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) and provides an optimum escape route based on the collected contexts through service users' smart phones. In addition, The system provides not only safe routes from the fire but also valuable information for rescue operations with real time.

IoT 환경에서는 대용량 IoT 데이터들이 다양한 IoT 디바이스들에서 수집된다. 대용량 IoT 데이터로 인해 사용자 요구사항에 맞는 데이터 처리와 제공을 위한 서비스가 필요하다. 이에 상황 정보를 이용한 온톨로지 기반 IoT 데이터 관리 시스템 설계를 제안한다.
