  • The purpose of this study is to verify the applicability of concept mapping in the process of planning social welfare program based on community network. Concept mapping is a kind of decision-making method that structuralized complex ideas and presented visually. Already, concept mapping is widely utilized in counseling, nursing and public health area to plan and evaluation their program and service. For recent, effectiveness of concept mapping has been reported. Concept mapping is a effective decision-making method that they recognize outcome gap between service provider and client, reach the outcome's consensus in counseling and nursing, medical area. In this study, we conceptualized 3rd year outcomes of Community Impact Project that was supported from Busan Chest using concept mapping. This CI project intervenes children and youth who lives in Buk-gu, Busan. Concept mapping has six stages-preparation, collecting ideas, structuring statements, representing statement, interpreting the results of the analysis, applying the results. We followed these steps. The participants were working at social welfare organizations, total 11 persons. We obtained 60 statements and analyzed using multidimensional scaling. we collected 5 clusters, cluster 1 'awareness and attitude change of children and youth', cluster 2 'social system change of children and youth', cluster 3 'friendly community formation', cluster 4 'community people change', cluster 5 'service provider change'. As a result, among total 5 clusters formed, 'awareness and attitude change of children and youth' came to the strongest outcomes. When concept mapping was applied to the program planning, the consensus of the opinion came easily in the decision-making process, and the participants were empowered. In addition, clear conceptualization on each element of the program planning was made.

  • Recently recommendation methods need personalization and diversity as well as accuracy whereas the traditional researches have been mainly focused on the accuracy of recommendation in terms of quality. The diversity of recommendation is also important to people in terms of quantity in addition to quality since people's desire for content consumption have been stronger rapidly than past. In this paper, we pay attention to similarity of data gathered simultaneously among different types of contents. With this motivation, we propose an enhanced recommendation method using correlation analysis with considering data similarity between two types of contents which are movie and music. Specifically, we regard folksonomy tags for music as correlated data of genres for movie even though they are different attributes depend on their contents. That is, we make result of new recommendation movie items through mapping music folksonomy tags to movie genres in addition to the recommendation items from the typical collaborative filtering. We evaluate effectiveness of our method by experiments with real data set. As the result of experimentation, we found that the diversity of recommendation could be extended by considering data similarity between music contents and movie contents.

  • The 2020 Gwangju Media Art Festival (2020 GMAF) was held in the area of the National Asian Cultural Center. Under the slogan "The entire Gwangju shines under the theme of "Aesthetics of Light and Coexistence," the media festival demonstrated projection mapping to Jeonnam (former) Provincial Office at the DATA+ Research Institute of Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Video. This paper focuses on explaining the overall production process and content development of projection mapping demonstrated in the Jeollanam-do Provincial Government, which is a symbol of Korean democratization and is located in the center of Gwangju, Jeolla-do. It was intended to faithfully express the history of the 2020 GMAF and Jeonnam (former) provincial government, Gwangju's history, and democratization records. It was intended to show images, background sounds, sound effects, and visual effects using various special effects and high-power laser devices using unique characteristics of projection mapping. To this end, about 5 minutes and 30 seconds of content were planned, and it was divided into parts and topics, and one individual story was developed for each chapter.

  • There are limitations to the manager's investigation of all damage sites and establishment of management plan in terms of manpower and cost. Community mapping can be used to overcome these problems with the information. However, it is difficult to make decisions when multiple information are registered in multiple areas of damage. Because community mapping information are registered only with pictures and simple contents, it is so difficult for the manager to clearly understand the site situation. This study suggests a methodology to support decision-making processes during disaster management through system integration between the community mapping and the drone mapping. By applying the proposed method, decision makers can make a timely judgment effectively on the damage situation. It is expected that the proposed method will save time, manpower, and cost in the recovery phase.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of two different types of texts, which were narrative and expository, on the understanding of content. Elementary students' perceptions of the two types of the texts were also investigated. In the comparison of the effects on the understanding of the text contents, test scores of mind-mapping, closed-answer question, and essay test were used. The analyses of mind-mapping tests showed narrative text was more effective to figure out main concepts of the text throughout the mind-mapping test. But expository text was more effective in the hierarchical organization of the concepts. In the closed-answer questions and essay test, narrative text was more effective than expository text. However when the contents of text were difficult and complex, there was no meaningful difference between the two types of texts. The analyses of students' perceptions of the texts showed that narrative texts were preferred. Students perceived that the narrative text was more interesting and familiar. However, the perceptions of helpful text for their science learning were not different by the types of texts.

  • Recently many studies has been conducted for interactive game to contents immersion through visual stimuli. Among them, Multi-Plane Image tech is suitable for projecting video in wide views, but it is difficult to perform calibration and mapping tasks for viewing separately. In this paper, we developed a calibration mapping applies to the field archery game space in the form of CAVE. As a result, we maintained the resolution confirmed the space through the video without distortion and expect to be applicable to the fields requiring presence, such as training contents.

Application of Concept Mapping in Program Planning for the Mental Disorders: Can be Achieved Consensus Expected Outcomes of the Mental Disorders and Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center Employees through Client Participation? • This study apply concept mapping to realize of client participation and self-determination in social welfare program for the mental disorders. They are relatively easily marginalized in decision-making process of their program. But realization of client participation and self-determination is directly connected with effect of service. For this reason, we confirmed the applicability of concept mapping in program planning that support client participation. Case of this study is social welfare program of B community psychiatric rehabilitation center located in the A city. This program is community interchange service for the mental disorders. Interchange type is to have a food with the mental disorder and the solitary elderly. We took advantage of the concept mapping to derive the outcomes that are expecting the mental disorders and mental health social workers. Concept mapping was proceeding in six steps; preparation stage ${\rightarrow}$ idea collection stage ${\rightarrow}$ structuralization stage ${\rightarrow}$ analysis stage ${\rightarrow}$ interpretation stage ${\rightarrow}$ application stage. Participants were a total of 25 people including the mental disorders and community psychiatric rehabilitation center employees. The participants produced 42 statements. Sorting results, the mental disorders produced 6 clusters; community psychiatric rehabilitation center employees produced 3 clusters. The mental disorders classified better detail than community psychiatric rehabilitation center employees. Two group were found gap of expected outcomes each other, went narrowed it. They agreed 3 expected outcomes finally. We identified empirically the usefulness of concept mapping to realize self-determination and program participation.

  • The purposes of this study were grasping the degree of students' understanding for course contents through the concept mapping strategy as meaningful learning in science and measuring the effect for change of conception and changing the misconception. The results of the study were as follows: 1. Before the lesson, only 10.7% of students had scientific conception of molecular motion. Other students had various kinds of misconceptions. 2. The extent of concept formation after lesson through the using concept mapping strategy was tested. As a result, compared with the controlled group, the experimental group showed higher extent of sound concept formation (statistical significance level 0.05). 3. The differences between the experimental group and the control group were analyzed into quantitative and qualitative points of view. The results of the comparison showed that the maps of the students were well configured in the categories of the relationship, the hierarchy and the examples; while students showed lower abilities in the category of the cross-links. 4. The student's attitudes to ward concept mapping was positive. Most of the students answered that teaching strategy of concept mapping benefits them in meaningful learning outcomes.
