Since the national curriculum and textbooks are essential to understand the country's educational system, the importance of the textbook analysis should be emphasized to understand the education in North Korea. In this study, the science textbooks of North Korean elementary schools published since the year 2000 were analysed in depth and compared with those of 1990's, then the change in North Korean elementary science education was investigated. As for the external format, the total pages of 3rd grade textbooks of 2000's decreased notably. The 4th grade textbooks show an emphasis on the integrating feature of season-related chapters. The analysis of each category using a content framework of TIMSS shows that the content proportion relating to Earth Science and Physical Science was increased, while the proportion relating to Biological Science was decreased. Besides, changes of proportion of each subcategories were analysed and discussed.

GIS systems have gradually been utilized in life information as well as special businesses such as traffic, sight-seeing, tracking, and disaster services. Most GIS services focus on showing stored information on maps, not providing a service to register and modify their preferred information. In this paper, we present a new method which reduces DXF map data into Simple Geographic Information File format using format conversion algorithms. We also present the prototype implementation of a GIS search system based on ontologies to support associated information. Our contribution is to propose a new digital map format to provide a fast map loading service and individual customized information on the map service.

인터넷 기반 멀티미디어 서비스가 확대되고 IPTV 기술의 발달로 방송과 통신의 융합을 지원하기 위한 제어 기술이 더욱 발전할 것으로 보인다. 특히 실시간 TV 방송을 위한 멀티캐스트 제어 기술을 지원하기 위한 인증 및 자원 제어 기술 그 외에 서비스의 가치를 높이기 위한 다양한 양방향 서비스 제공 기술이 개발될 것으로 보인다. 그리고 인터넷 기반 전송환경에서 비디오 콘텐츠 전송을 할 때 비디오 콘텐츠 전송을 위해 RTP(Real Time Transport Protocol)를 사용한다. 따라서 표준화 기구인 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)에서는 RTP 내에서 다양한 오디오 및 비디오 포맷에 따라 전용 전송포맷(RTP Payload Format)을 별도의 표준으로 정하고 있으며, 스케일러블 비디오 콘텐츠는 "RTP Payload Format for SVC(Switched Virtual Connection) Video"로 표준화가 현재 진행 중이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 방송 통신 융합 시스템의 질적 향상을 위하여, 상위 계층 응용이 적응적으로 반응하도록 함으로써 기존의 MPEG2-TS로 제공되는 다양한 콘텐츠를 RTP를 이용하여 다양한 장치에 적용하여 소비자의 ETE(End-to-End) QoS(Quality of Service)를 향상하기 위한 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

모델링 및 시뮬레이션 분야에서 이미 모델링되어 있는 환경 데이터를 재사용하고 확장할 수 있는 방법은 매우 중요하다. 이에 환경데이터의 공유 필요성을 만족할 수 있도록 확장될 수 있는 환경 데이터 표현 및 교환 메카니즘이 절대적으로 필요하다고 할 수 있다. SEDRIS의 STF(SEDRIS Transmittal Format)는 이러한 목적을 가능케 하는 표준으로써, 환경 데이터 사용자 및 생성자에게 명료하게 정의된 교환 명세를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 SEDRIS의 표준 교환 포맷을 이용하여 상용 포맷(Maya)을 정보 내용의 의미 손실 없이 교환 포맷으로, 교환 포맷을 상용 포맷으로 변환하기 위한 자동변환기를 설계 및 구현하였다.

Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) is the mobile TV service based on a digital radio transmission system that provides high quality audio/video and other auxiliary data services. As users want to store the DMB content in their device to be consumed later or to be shared among users, a standardized format needs to be specified to guarantee the interoperability for the DMB contents for various devices. DMB AF (Application Format) specification defines a file format for DMB contents and services. It specifies how to combine the variety of DMB contents with associated information for a presentation in a well-defined format that facilitates storage, interchange, management, editing, and presentation of the DMB contents in protected, governed, and interoperable ways. In this paper we present our implementation of DMB AF as part of the development of DMB AF reference software. Our implementation of DMB AF is developed as the reference software for the standard specification that consists of a three applications: packager, media player, metadata browser and collection of supporting libraries used by the applications.

본 논문에서는 MPEG-21 기반 멀티미디어 파일 포맷의 구조, 그리고 파일 내 또는 외부의 동영상, 정지영상, mp4 파일과 같은 미디어리소스를 참조 하는 방법을 통한 파일화 절차를 제안하였다. 제안한 멀티미디어 파일 포맷은 MPEG-4 터미널에서도 상호 운용 가능케 하는 구조(backward compatibility with MPEG-4)이며, XML로 구성된 MPEG-21 콘텐츠인 디지털아이템에서 정의된 미디어리소스를 효과적으로 참조하는 방법을 포함한다. 본 논문에서 정의된 파익 포맷은 디지털 방송, 무선통신, 인터넷 환경에서의 다양한 형태의 콘텐츠들을 효과적이고 체계적으로 조합할 수 있는 기능 및 효과적인 저장 기능을 제공하며, 향후 XML기반 메타데이터와 미디어리소스를 포함하는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 파일 포맷에 대한 참고 모델로서 사용될 수 있다.

최근 VR 콘텐츠의 인기와 함께 다양한 촬영장치를 이용한 실사기반 VR 360 영상제작이 주목을 받고 있다. 과거 VR 콘텐츠 제작은 많은 작업이 필요해 연구소 수준에서만 가능했으나 최근 카메라의 소형화로 VR 실사 촬영이 콘텐츠 제작자들에게 보편화되고 있다. 본 논문은 오늘날 상황에서 유통되는 다양한 VR 콘텐츠를 비교 연구하고 비용면에서 강인한 실사 기반 360 영상제작의 장단점을 분석하고 있다. 기존 영상 촬영 전문가가 사용하기 어려운 단점을 지적하고 이를 위한 해결 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 액션캠이나 일체형 카메라보다 수동조작이 가능하고, 원규격(raw foramt) 지원 카메라에서 360 촬영이 영화식 후반작업에 더 적합하다는 것을 간단한 실험 촬영을 통해 증명하였다.

본 연구는 안전한 학교 실현을 위한 학교의 역할과 책임을 명확히 하기 위하여 학교안전기준의 내용과 형식을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학교안전기준이 학교 현장에서 운영하는데 어려움을 교육행정사무관, 장학사, 연구사 총 26명으로 4개의 소그룹으로 나누어 현장 전문가의 의견을 청취하고 관련 자료를 분석하였다. 결과적으로 학교안전기준안에 대한 시도교육청에 재직하고 있는 교육행정사무관, 장학사, 연구사의 심층 면담을 종합적으로 분석하여, 학교안전기준 개발의 필요성, 학교안전기준 내용의 적정성, 학교안전기준 형식의 적절성, 학교안전기준안의 현장 적용성 등 넷 측면에서 결과를 도출하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교안전기준 개발 방향 설정에 관한 내용이다. 둘째, 학교안전기준 체계 및 내용 탐구에 관한 내용이다. 셋째, 학교안전기준 내용 초안 마련에 관한 내용이다.

The Digital Multimedia Broadcasting(DMB) system is developed to offer high quality multimedia content to the mobile environment. The system adopts the MPEG-4 standard for the main video, audio and other media format. For providing interactive contents, it also adopts the MPEG-4 scene description that refers to the spatio-temporal specifications and behaviors of individual objects. With more interactive contents, the scene description also needs higher bitrate. However, the bandwidth for allocating meta data, such as scene description is restrictive in the mobile environment. On one hand, the DMB terminal renders each media stream according to the scene description. Thus the binary format for scene(BIFS) stream corresponding to the scene description should be decoded and parsed in advance when presenting media data. With this reasoning, the transmission delay of the BIFS stream would cause the delay in transmitting whole audio-visual scene presentations, although the audio or video streams are encoded in very low bitrate. This paper presents the effective optimization technique in adapting the BIFS stream into the expected bitrate without any waste in bandwidth and avoiding transmission delays inthe initial scene description for interactive DMB content.

본고는 소장데이터용 MARC 포맷의 일반적 특성과 개발현황에 대해 살펴보고, 아울러 MARC 포맷의 3요소로 일컬어지는 구조와, 내용표지법, 레코드의 내용을 이미 개발된 USMARC과 KORMARC 포맷을 중심으로 분석하였다. 레코드의 구조와 내용표지법은 서지용 및 전거용포맷과 대부분 동일하다. 데이터필드는 기본적으로 기능별블록으로 구분되어 있으나, 현재는 0XX, 5XX, 8XX 필드만이 사용되고 있다. 008 필드의 레코드 내용에는 수서와 보유정책 등 자료의 소장에 관련된 요소들이 추가되어 있다. 가변길이필드의 내용은 번호와 코드, 주기, 소재와 접근, 소장데이터 필드 등으로 구성되며, 특히 소장데이터필드는 다시 캡션과 패턴, 권호와 연대, 문장형식소장정보 자료정보 등의 필드로 구성된다. 본고에서는 각 필드별로 그 내용을 구체적으로 분석하고 있다.
