As consumer, one of the most important things how to get manufactured good is an assurance of quality. We have a consumer protection law which is weaker than product liability law(so called PL law), but stronger than civil law. In this special issue, we want to explain PL law which will be legislated within not long time and to propose a method of protection and defence in building and housing field. As the quality control of constructor, ISO 9000 series for quality assurance and CM (Construction Management) for quality assister are concerned in all construction process. Therefore, above mentioned PL law is very serious problems which are applied in apartment housing, if applied, a little part as not real estate will be possible.

The purpose of this code is to relate the various controllable factors to the comfort and well-being of the people using the building, so that the requirements of the system may be specified to the designers and the constructor. This study deals with the work involved in design and installation of residential mechanical ventilation. The recommendations made in this code recognize the need to optimize the use of energy, reduce hazards and minimize effects detrimental to the environment. This code was prepared by a committee convened by SAREK. The code provides broad guidance only on certain topics. The titles of standard and code referred to in this code are listed on the reference.

The block-unit housing renewal project was presented as an alternative method to overcome the side effects of large-scale renewal projects while improving poor residential conditions. However, projects implementation is prolonged and even the pace of projects, which was considered an various incentives, is being delayed for the most part. In this study, delay factors are drawn by eight; conflict among association members, contract delay of joint implementation, participation paucity of constructor, inadequate project guidelines, alteration of project plan, lack of renewal project professionals, stricter loan restriction of HUG, lack of capacity of project operator. We categorized those eight factors to three aspects such as implementation, participants and proposition and suggested improvement alternatives according to three aspects.

Today's construction is a large-scale and long life span program, so called Mega-scale project, that every moment constructor faces much of hardships, It is because of a large amount of stakeholders, data and complicated relationship among workers. In order to overcome these problems, IETM(Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) has been introduced to construction industry recently, It is regarded as a useful tool for handling the data, procedures of the construction, but it is similar to existing IT-based information systems, the PMIS(Project Management Information System) and the KMS(Knowledge Management System), without characterizing. This research is intended to find out IETM's property and to present the Ontology scheme discriminating Construction IETM from existing systems..

When we compare CM system with Design Bid Build system, we can see two striking features in CM system. First, CMr participates in construction team along with Owner, Designer and Constructor. The newcomer can change boundaries of function and responsibility. Second, Compatibility through each phase and Objectivity of decision-making become more important, because relation among stakeholders changes from a rectilinear to a network. However, it is not clear how the risk of completion is reasonably treated. So we have to think about the relations between Owner and CMr, CMr and Specialist Contractor from a point of trade risk. This paper covers them.

Construction inspection and monitoring are key activities in construction projects. Automation of inspection tasks improves the limitations and inefficiencies of manual construction inspections, enabling systematic and consistent construction inspections. In this paper, an RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) system is used to remotely manage and supervise the construction site without having to visit the construction site by deploying a robot on site on behalf of four construction stakeholders (owner, supervisor, constructor, and designer). I would like to propose. The proposed system can contribute to identifying and monitoring the process process and work results at the construction site in real time.

건설산업분야에 CAD시스템이 도입된 이래 CAD로 작성된 도면으로부터의 물량산출에 관한 연구가 지난 20여 년간 많은 관심 속에 국내외 적으로 지속되어 왔으나, 성과는 그다지 만족스럽지 못하였다. 특히 3D CAD 시스템을 활용한 설계 및 물량산출은 제조업에서는 괄목할 만한 성과를 거두고 있음에도 불구하고 건설 산업에서는 3D CAD 시스템에 의한 물량산출시스템의 개발 및 운영에 많은 어려움이 있다. 3D CAD 시스템에서는 3D 라이브러리(3D Object)의 구축 및 활용이 매우 중요하며 건설 산업의 특성상 설계과정에서 발생하는 신규 부재(3D object)에 대한 신속한 지원이 없이는 설계 및 물량산출에 3D CAD 시스템의 활용에 많은 어려움이 있다. 또한 3D CAD 모델로 부터의 물량산출을 지원하는 시스템은 개념설계(schematic design)단계에서도 개략견적이 가능하여야 하며, 상세설계(detailed design) 단계 및 시공도면작성(construction design)단계에 이르는 각 단계마다 물량산출 및 비용 산출이 가능하여야 한다. 다음으로는 설계과정 및 의사결정단계를 거치면서 계속 진화하는 설계변경(revision)에 따라 유연하게 물량 및 비용 산출이 가능하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 3D 모델을 기반으로 한 상용화된 5D(3D+cost+schedule) CAD 시스템인 컨스트럭터(Constructor)의 기본개념을 살펴보고 특히 레서피(Recipe)기반의 물량산출 모듈에 대한 설명 및 시범 프로젝트 적용결과에 대해 검토하고 앞으로의 기대효과 및 건설 산업에서의 3D CAD 기반 응용시스템 연구 방향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

This study has provided the answer which construction companies to make complete competitive factors for sustainable growth in construction industry with to 21C environment changes. So the purpose of study is to provide a guideline for establishing the strategy of existence and growth. In order to carry out this purpose of study, above all after has been reviewed Quality Management by considering the characteristics of construction companies, TQM component and business performance, the study has been made a close inquiry in causal relationship between TQM component(leadership, participation, education-training) and business performance(safety) in construction industry. The result of the study can be summarized as follows : First, a test was conducted to whether TQM component(participation) has a significantly positive effect on business performance(safety). Second, it was found that there was a positive casual relationship between each of the TQM factors and business performance(safety). TQM(Total Quality Management) factors had great influences on the business performance of construction companies. So construction companies needed to make continuous efforts to enhance the business performance through TQM approach.

The purpose of this paper was to review critiques on methodological problems relating to Piaget's researches in terms of its scientific nature. On the basis of review of literature, the following problems were pointed out: 1. Notwithstanding Piaget's emphasis on the scientific requirement for verification, Piaget was against the deductive method typical of scientific verification. 2. Piaget's theory was so vague that it couldn't be falsified. 3. Piaget ignored criticism of his method, and this was viewed as unscientific in the eyes of most scientists. 4. Avoiding the antecedent-consequence sequence of scientific experimentation, Piaget took the descriptive, rather than the explanative nature. 5. Piaget didn't accept individual differences in cognitive style in his research paradigm. 6. Piaget's experimental procedures looked very simple but they were too complex to understand what was happening. 7. Although Piaget's major ideas treated the child as the active constructor of reality, the child's experimental tasks were structured by experimenter. 8. Piaget's clinical method depended heavily upon language although the procedures required manipulation of objects. 9. Piaget always justified his experiments in terms of protocois selected from all the responses obtained. However, these protocols may not be the most representative responses or behaviors showing the child's cognitive structure.

This study aims to uncover what kinds of difficulties preschool teachers are now confronted with when they begin to implement project based learning with young children, in order to develop contents for teacher education programs. From July 2012 to February, 2013, 9 teachers participated in implementing projects in preschool classrooms. For data generation and interpretation, observations of class projects, tape-recordings of teacher conferences, and interviews with the teachers were made. The findings were as follows: teachers' uncertainty regarding project itself, teachers themselves, child competence, and its sustainableness were the most critical obstacle to hinder the teachers in implementing self directed projects with young children. The results imply that the teachers' belief in child competence in doing projects is of great significance; their view that it is very difficult for them to do projects without viewing young children a co-constructor of knowledge. Therefore, the key element in developing contents for teacher education programs should include a richer understanding of young children' competence.
