Abstract

The purpose of this code is to relate the various controllable factors to the comfort and well-being of the people using the building, so that the requirements of the system may be specified to the designers and the constructor. This study deals with the work involved in design and installation of residential mechanical ventilation. The recommendations made in this code recognize the need to optimize the use of energy, reduce hazards and minimize effects detrimental to the environment. This code was prepared by a committee convened by SAREK. The code provides broad guidance only on certain topics. The titles of standard and code referred to in this code are listed on the reference.
