건설현장에서 발생하는 건설기계소음에 대한 현장직원의 주관적 반응에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Subjective Response of a Field Staff about Construction Machine Noise in Construction Field)

  • Recently, construction noise has caused much annoyance for a number of dwellers in nearby construction field and has become a very serious issue in our living environment. Therefore in our country, a practical solution and better method of reducing construction noise are highly required. Practical solutions for the construction noise, however, are very difficult because the poorness of basic data and insufficiency of the existing research. In this point, this study attempts to surveys the subkective response of construction machine noise in construction field. And this study intends to get the basic data for establishment of a standard about construction noise.

  • Recently, with the increasing of construction works, large construction equipment are used to reduce the term of work and labor cost in construction field. Therefore, construction equipment noise has caused much annoyance for a number of dweller in nearby construction field and it has become a very serious problem in our living environment. Neverthless, in our country, adequite guidelines for the construction equipment noise are very deficiency because of the lack of basic data and insufficient research works. From this point of view, this study attempts to survey the vertical SPL distribution of piling noise by oil pressure method in construction field. This study also present a basic data found a effective plans for piling noise by oil pressure method.

아파트 건설노동자 소음 노출평가 (Assessment of Apartment Building Construction Workers' Noise Exposure)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study is to measure and assess the occupational noise exposure levels among construction workers at apartment building construction sites in South Korea. Methods: Noise exposure assessments were conducted for 139 construction workers across 10 different trades at 53 apartment building construction sites in the northern part of Gyeonggi-do. Assessments were carried out using a noise dosimeter set with a 90 dB criterion, an 80 dB threshold, and a 5 dB exchange rate over a period of more than 6 hours(LMOEL) Results: The mean LMOEL (equivalent continuous noise level over 8 hours) for the 139 dosimeter samples was 87.8 ± 4.3 dBA. The mean noise exposure level for each construction trade, referred to as the trade mean, was also calculated. Significant differences in noise exposure levels were observed between construction trades (ANOVA, p < 0.001). The highest LMOEL values were recorded for concrete chippers (93.2 ± 2.6 dBA), followed by ironworkers (88.4 ± 0.7 dBA), concrete finishers (88.3 ± 2.7 dBA), masonry workers (87.7 ± 1.9 dBA), pile driver operators (85.6 ± 1.7 dBA), concrete carpenters (84.9 ± 2.4 dBA), interior carpenters (83.5 ± 2.1 dBA), and other groups (81.4 ± 2.2 dBA). Conclusions: The findings suggest that nearly all construction workers in this study are at risk of Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). Moreover, the study establishes that construction trades can serve as a useful metric for assessing noise exposure levels at apartment construction sites.

  • 건설현장에서 발생하는 소음으로 인하여 많은 사람들이 고통을 겪고 있고, 그로 인하여 민원과 분쟁이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 민원은 사업의 지연 및 중단, 배상액 지불과 같은 시간적, 경제적 손실을 초래하므로 엄격하게 관리되어야 한다. 이와 같은 추세에 따라 정부는 기존 방음벽 중심의 소음정책에서 탈피하여 발생원 중심으로 소음을 관리하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 그러나 건설소음은 일시적이고, 불규칙적으로 발생하며, 건설장비 자체의 소음레벨이 높기 때문에 쉽게 제어되기 어렵다. 또한 최근 선진국을 중심으로 사람들에게 쉽게 인지되지는 않지만, 고주파 소음과 마찬가지로 인체에 정신적, 신체적 피해를 주는 저주파 소음에 대한 연구를 활발히 진행하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 수동적인 소음관리방식으로는 고주파 소음을 저감하는데 효과가 있을 뿐, 저주파 소음을 저감하는데는 한계가 있다. 그러므로 본 연구는 건설현장에서 발생하는 소음을 저감하고, 기존의 수동적인 소음관리방식의 한계점을 보완하기 위한 방법으로 능동소음제어를 이용하여 건설현장에서 발생하는 소음을 저감하기 위한 관리모델을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 시뮬레이션 실험을 수행하였고, 능동소음제어의 건설현장 적용성을 검토하였다. 본 논문은 능동소음제어를 통하여 건설현장에서 발생하는 소음을 저감하고, 소음피해로 인한 민원과 분쟁을 최소화하는데 일조할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

A Potential Value of Noise Control in Construction Sites for Real Estate Developers

  • Since construction work is an indispensable part of daily lives, complaints of noise are unavoidable. Noise control in construction sites is normally known as a regulation by a government and self-motivated noise controls rarely occur. In this paper, a marketing strategy is proposed to provide a potential value of noise control for real estate developer. First, people's perception to construction noise was examined in means of collecting and analyzing media reports between 2005 to 2011. Then decibel test was done in order to test noise generated by different devices in a construction site in various distances. According to the theory of core competency, a conceptual model was raised to illustrate profit and loss situation of the real estate developers in the case they invest more in noise control. The construction noise is discussed that it will ruin people's perception to the company's brand image and reputation. Also, the investment in the creation of silent site is discussed that it will not only bring benefit to the brand image work but also have value of profit in the market.

군(軍) 건설장비 소음의 전달 및 감쇠특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Propagation and Attenuation Properties of the Military Construction Equipments Noise)

  • In case of the construction equipment using by the military camp, such equipments are different from those equipments using at general construction site, of which muffler(silencer) is attached at the passenger seat side, since such equipments are obsoleted, it is great part that a considerably loud noises are continuously diffusing. When working, such noise can be influenced a lot of effects to those working soldiers nearby the equipment, and though it is really terrible loud noise as much as can arise a civil complaints by neighboring civilians, but because its specialty of the military, it is real state that there are many difficulties in establishing an effective soundproof countermeasure due to study shortage and lack of the relevant material regarding to military construction equipment. Accordingly, this study has ever grasped the characteristics of noise by its each frequencies and by distances about those 9 kinds of construction equipments using chiefly by the military camp. As the result, it was known that the military construction equipment is generating the loud noise which can influence bad effect to the workers, and such high sound pressure level of low frequency band can harm even to far distance.

  • 건설공사장에서 사용하는 주요 건설장비에 대한 소음측정을 이격거리별로 수행하였다. 특히, 작업형태에 따라 변동하는 폭이 큰 건설장비에 대해서는 작업형태를 세분화하여 소음측정을 수행하였다. 무부하 및 작업이 이루어지는 시간 동안의 옥타브밴드별 'A'보정 등가소음도(Leq)를 측정하였다. 소음측정결과 대부분의 건설장비가 점음원의 특성과 유사하게 나타나고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • Damages by vibration and noise due to the construction performance are increasing. The rise of construction demand and enlargement of equipments are major reasons of this damage. As a result, the enmity of the people is provoked and this appears to be an obstacle of construction work. Especially, in case of ground improvement construction. Casing pipe is inserted into the Sand Drain, Sand Compaction Pile and Vibrated Crushed-stone Pile by vibration power when carrying out. Hence, a pillar is formed and it creates vibration and noise. This causes a lot of restrictions to construction condition. The low Vibration and low noise construction equipments uses earth auger and hydrulic cylinder for insertion and chopping operation instead of vibro hammer, which is the source of vibration and noise. This minimize ground disturbanceand decrease vibration and noise successfully, but increase chopping effect greatly. Thus, this new equipment is not only suitable for environment but also excellent engineering method of construction.

건설공사장 소음의 위해성 평가 (Assessment of Annoyance Cause by Different Types of Construction Noises)

  • In the present study, annoyance caused by diverse construction noises was evaluated through surveys. A survey with a total of 110 construction workers was carried out to investigate annoyance from construction noises at different construction phases. The most effective item of adverse by construction noise was annoyance and the most annoyed construction stage was destruction construction. There were high correlation between work performance and work safety as well as work safety and speech interference. Participant's noise sensitivity were significant between low and high group at work performance, work safety, speech interference.
