시뮬레이터를 이용한 CATV 전송시스템 위상잡음성능 개선에 관한 연구 (A study on the phase noise performance improvement of CATV transmission system using the simulator)

  • 최근 전자 정보 통신 기술의 발전으로 개개인이 요구하는 정보의 전송량도 증가하고 있다. 특히 CATV의 전송량 증가에 따른 전송 성능의 향상이 불가피하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 DOCSIS(Data-Over-Cable Service Interface Specifications) 2.0 요구 규격을 만족하는 CATV 전송 시스템에서 Bit Error Rate(BER)에 따른 최적의 Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR) 성능 요구 특성을 얻기 위한 위상 잡음 특성을 분석하였다. 특히 개발된 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 CATV 전송 시스템 위상 잡음 특성 요구 규격을 만족하는 Phase Locked Loop(PLL) 구성 요소 파라미터 값들을 도출하였다. 제시된 방법은 향후 초고속 CATV 전송 시스템의 위상잡음 관련 성능 요구 규격도출에 이용될 수 있다.

송전철탑 설계기준을 반영한 345kV급 송전철탑의 합리적인 구조해석모델 제안 (Suggestion of Reasonable Analysis Model for Steel Transmission Tower Based on KEPCO Design Specifications)

  • 전력 수요의 증가로 인해 송전철탑의 고용량, 대용량화가 요구되어왔지만 아직 대부분을 차지하고 있는 345kV급 송전철탑에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 현재 해석 설계되고 있는 방식은 2차원 트러스요소를 사용하여 양단은 힌지접합으로 축력만 작용하고 있는 것으로 가정한다. 이러한 방식을 3차원 트러스 요소에 적용하였을 때, 면 외로 작용하는 하중에 대해 무한변위가 발생하는 구조해석적인 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 보다 합리적인 요소 선택을 통한 구조해석 방식을 제안하기 위해 기존의 3차원 트러스요소 모델, 보요소 모델, 주주재와 수평재는 보요소로 모사하고 사재 및 기타 복재는 트러스로 모사한 보-트러스요소 모델 등 세 모델을 실제 설계 시공된 345kV급 송전철탑에 대해 설계하중 내에서 구조해석프로그램을 이용한 정적해석, 자유진동해석, 선형좌굴해석을 수행하였다. 구조해석 결과, 세 모델 모두 축력 및 축응력, 변위에서는 큰 차이가 나타나지 않았으나 보요소모델과 보-트러스요소 모델에서 휨응력의 비율이 축응력에 대해 크게 나타났다. 자유진동해석과 탄성좌굴해석의 결과를 통해 보-트러스요소 모델이 송전철탑 설계 및 해석에 있어서 더 안전측으로 고려될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

A Study on the Verification of Traffic Flow and Traffic Accident Cognitive Function for Road Traffic Situation Cognitive System

  • Owing to the need to establish a cooperative-intelligent transport system (C-ITS) environment in the transportation sector locally and abroad, various research and development efforts such as high-tech road infrastructure, connection technology between road components, and traffic information systems are currently underway. However, the current central control center-oriented information collection and provision service structure and the insufficient road infrastructure limit the realization of the C-ITS, which requires a diversity of traffic information, real-time data, advanced traffic safety management, and transportation convenience services. In this study, a network construction method based on the existing received signal strength indicator (RSSI) selected as a comparison target, and the experimental target and the proposed intelligent edge network compared and analyzed. The result of the analysis showed that the data transmission rate in the intelligent edge network was 97.48%, the data transmission time was 215 ms, and the recovery time of network failure was 49,983 ms.

  • 무선국의 통신장비에 할당된 주파수 자원은 한정되어 있으나 통신량의 계속적인 증가에 따라 이것 그러므로 SSB, VHF 둥 기존의 통신장비를 원격제어로 운용하는 무선국에서 간단한 방법으로 채널의 변환, PTT제어, 송신주파수 및 출력을 모니터할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 송수신기와 단말기 사이의 제어신호 교환은 음성신호가 전달되는 2선의 트위스트 실선 또는 전화회선을 공유하며, ASK에 의한 채널의 up/down과 PTT의 제어, 양측에 MCS-51계열의 프로쎄서를 사용하여 FSK에 의한 시리얼통신으로 송신제원을 모니터할 수 있는 H/W의 설계 그리고 단신방식의 통신운용에 따른 순차적인 통신시퀸스와 프로토콜 및 데이터전송에 대한 알고리즘을 연구하였다. 통신시퀸스의 S/W 는 멀티-프로세싱 기법을 활용하여 마스터 프로쎄서에 의한 다수의 단말기 프로쎄서에서 특정의 송수신기에 접속을 요구하는 회선접속시스템으로 연계될 수 있도록 하였다.

  • There is a method for stringing conductors which is connected to a wire over transmission towers by helicopter or human power and the wire and conductors are pulled by an engine puller. The length of one string section is usually 4-6 km and 2-4 conductors are strung at the same time with a single wire. A tensioner is used to maintain the sag and a running board is installed between the wire and conductors to prevent the rotation of conductors but the variance in topology, the line angle and unequal wiring tension between conductors causes conductor rotation damage or the conductor connection point to breakaway when the pulley is passed. This paper presents a method to prevent conductor rotation during stringing by inserting a pulley in the running board and equally maintaining conductor tension by sling wire after developing and testing.

  • Minimal line length enables low-cost construction of the transmission lines and low-loss transportation of electric power. This paper presents a derivation to determine the coordinate and length of the straight line that minimally connects two perpendicular lines x-axis and y-axis via a specific point, using the optimization technique. The author shows a formula to obtain the minimal length, which is represented by the cube root of the coordinate given by the specific point. Case studies have been also discussed to prove the optimal solutions derived by the proposed formula.

  • Full scale structural test of 765kv electric transmission tower was performed to measure the stresses and displacement of towers under the design loadings, and the results were compared with analytical results based on three dimensional frame analysis. Also, the actual ultimate strength of the tower was measured through destructive test. Especially, to predict the behavior and failure of the connection of tubular member, finite element analysis was performed and compression test for the segments of tubular member were carried out. Valuable information for the overall and local behavior of the tower was obtained and reliability of current analytical method was confirmed.

  • For home networking system with a function of air quality monitoring, a wireless sensor module with several air quality monitoring sensors was developed for indoor environment monitoring system in home networking. The module has various enlargements for various kinds of sensors such as humidity sensor, temperature sensor, CO2 sensor, flying dust sensor, and etc. The developed wireless module is very convenient to be installed on the wall of a room or office, and the sensors in the module can be easily replaced due to well designed module structure and RF connection method. To reduce the system cost, only one RF transmission block was used for sensors' signal transmission to 8051 microcontroller board in time sharing method. In this home networking system, various indoor environmental parameters could be monitored in real time from RF wireless sensor module. Indoor vision was transferred to client PC or PDA from surveillance camera installed indoor or desired site. Web server using Oracle DB was used for saving the visions by web-camera and various data from wireless sensor module.

  • UDP has likely been used for real-time applications, such as video and audio. UDP supplies minimized transmission delay by omitting the connection setup process, flow control, and retransmission In general, more than 80 percent of the WAN resources are occupied by Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) traffic as opposed to UDP's simplicity, TCP adopts a unique flow control in this paper, I report new methods to minimize a udp packet loss considering TCP flow control on the real-time application the better performance of real time application can be obtained when they reduce a packet size and FIFO buffer scheduling method competing with TCP bandwidth for the bandwidth and buffering.
