Optical visual cryptography was proposed by conjunction of the optical theory with the cryptography. However, it had some difficulties. The problems occurred in the process of transferring data processing system from visual to optics. Therefore, it is appropriate to approach these problems in terms of optics. The results show that the optical visual cryptography system has both the effectiveness and reliability as well as real-time implementation property.

With the aid of finite element method, this paper deals with the problem of structural response variability of transmission tower subjected to the spatial variability of material properties, Young's modulus herein. The spatial variability of material property are modeled as two-dimensional stochastic field which has an isotropic auto-correlation function. Response variability has been computed based on two numerical techniques, such as the Neumann expansion method in conjunction with the Monte Carlo simulation method. The results by these numerical methods are compared with those by the deterministic approach.

In this research, tool allocation methods are studied in conjunction with loading and muting in FMSs. The objective function is to minimize production time while maximizing machine utilization of the FMS with several constraints. The proposed method has 2 steps. The first step is to determine tool allocation type with the proposed tool allocation method. The second step is to design loading models with routing. The effectiveness of the proposed FMS operation procedure is shown through numerical examples.

Concerning to Taeku city subway construction project(1-4 site), the original design was adapted NATM Tunnel method to the 8 meter thickness of overburden. Surveyor checked sity and design material and finally decided to change into Open Cut method because overburden is not only below 1 1/2 times thickness of comparate Tunnel width but there is no traffic conjunction in job site.

The mutagenic activity of four phenothiazine derivatives such as chlorpromazine, perphenazine, trifluoperazine and thioridazine in conjunction with UV-A irradiation or not based on the Ames plate incorporation test in the presence and absence of liver microsomal enzyme(S9 fraction). None of these compounds and their photo-excited were detected as mutagen in the Salmonella microsome assay with TA 98 and TA 100.

Characteristic boundary conditions are discussed in conjunction with a flux-difference splitting formulation as modified from Roe's linearization. Details of how one can implement the characteristic boundary conditions which are compatible with the discrete formulation at interior points are given for different types of boundaries including subsonic outflow and adiabatic wall. The latter conditions are demonstrated through computation of supersonic ogive-cylinder flow at high angle of attack and the computed wall pressure distribution is compared with experiment.

A comprehensive computer software has been implemented in conjunction with the software for volumetric error generator, to assess simulation on specific measurement tasks. The simulation algorithms have been developed for major measurement tasks, such as step gauge, ring gauge, sphere gauge, and cylinder gauge simulations etc. Verification and practical applications of the developed module have shown its efficiency and validity.

This paper presents a neural network controller for a rigid-link electrically-driven robot. The proposed controller is designed in conjunction with three neural networks approximating for complicated nonlinear functions. Particularly, the fact, different from conventional schemes, is that the neural network based current observer is used. Therefore, no accurate measurement of the actuator driving current is required. In the proposed controller-observer scheme, the derived weight update rule guarantees the stability of closed-loop system in the sense of Lyapunov. The effectiveness and performance of the proposed method are demonstrated through computer simulation.

In this paper, we introduce a conservative control approach using a full feedback map and suggest a switching control between the conservative and default control. For the conservative control, we use the coordinator which performs the conjunction operation of the full feedback map information of local supervisors. Since the switching control with the coordinator extends the ability of local supervisors in the decentralized supervisory control, we can solve the problem in case the coobservability condition can not be satisfied.

Version space는 목표 개념이 속성 값에 대한 제한조건의 연언(conjunction)으로 표현될 수 있는 귀납적 개념학습에서 가설공간을 표현하기 위해 사용된다. Version space의 크기는 속성 값의 수에 대해 지수적으로 증가하는데, 우리는 DNA 분자를 이용하여 version space를 표현하는 효율적인 방법을 제시한다. 또한 version space를 유지하기 위한 기본 연산과, 이를 DNA 분자를 이용하는 구현 방법이 제시된다. 또한 DNA 분자로 표현된 version space를 활용하여 새로운 example에 대한 분류를 예측하는 방법을 제시한다.
