In this study, radiation workers who work in nuclear medicine department were analyzed to find the cause of differences of radiation exposure from General Characteristic, Knowledge, Recognition and Conduct, especially females working on nuclear medicine radiation, in order to pave the way for positive defense against radiation exposure. The subjects were 106 radiation workers who were divided into two groups of sixty-four males and forty-two females answered questions about their General Characteristic, Knowledge, Recognition, Conduct, and radiation exposure dose which was measured by TLD (Thermo Luminescence Dosimeter). The results of the analysis revealed that as the higher score of knowledge and conduct was shown, the radiation exposure decreased in female groups, and as the higher score of conduct was shown, the radiation exposure decreased in male groups. In the correlation analysis of female groups, the non-experienced in pregnancy showed decreasing amount of radiation exposure as the score of knowledge and conduct was higher and the experienced in pregnancy showed decreasing amount of radiation exposure as the score of recognition and conduct was higher. In the regression analysis on related factors of radiation exposure dose of nuclear medicine radiation workers, the gender caused the meaningful result and the amount of radiation exposure of female groups compared to male groups. In the regression analysis on related factors of radiation exposure dose of female groups, the factor of conduct showed a meaningful result and the amount of radiation exposure of the experienced in pregnancy was lower compared to the non-experienced. The conclusion of this study revealed that radiation exposure of female groups was lower than that of male groups. Therefore, male groups need to more actively defend themselves against radiation exposure. Among the female groups, the experienced in pregnancy who have an active defense tendency showed a lower radiation exposure. Thus, those who have never been pregnant need to have a more active defensive conduct for the future possibility of pregnancy.

Objectives: Externalized behavioral problems are prevalent in adolescents, due to the difficulties associated with this developmental stage. Conduct Disorder (CD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), as well as other psychiatric disorders, such as major depressive disorder, result in the manifestation of many behavioral problems during adolescence. Methods: For this report, we analyzed a sample of 31 adolescents, each of whom had presented with CD or ODD at Chosun University Hospital between 2002 and 2010. We separated subjects into depressed and non-depressed groups according to their Beck Depression Inventory scores (BDI<10, non-depressed ; BDI${\geq}$10, depressed). Then we analyzed for neuropsychological differences between the depressed and non-depressed groups. Results: In our sample, adolescents in the depressed group showed less of a stealing (deceitfulness and/or theft) behavioral pattern and presented with more anxiety symptoms, lower self-esteem, and greater sensitivity in interpersonal relationships, as compared to the non-depressed group. Conclusion: When adolescents exhibit disruptive behavior, clinicians should consider the underlying causes of the behavior.

This paper examines, from the perspective of the structure-conduct-performance (S-C-P) paradigm, the structural factors that determine R&D concentration in industries. The results are as follows. First, an industry's R&D concentration is directly related to its market concentration, R&D intensity, capital intensity, and technological opportunities. In contrast, the higher an industry's performance, the more likely the diffusion of R&D investment is for firms belonging to that industry. Second, an industry's R&D concentration has a positive effect on its market concentration but a negative effect on its performance, suggesting that governments should adopt R&D policies that would induce more firms to invest in R&D instead of focusing only on a few firms to enhance industry performance.
Video game industry has undergone the drastic changes for forty-year history. The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of the historical evolution of the U.S. video game industry. To achieve this goal, this study has chosen the industrial organization model as the theoretical framework. This study found that the market structure as well as the market conduct in the U.S. video game industry changed drastically. This study concludes that the change of the market structure of the U.S. video game industry relates to the change of market conduct. This study could serve as the basis for future research on the economic analysis of video game industry.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-perceptions and school children's depression according to their gender. The participants comprised 578 school age children in Daegu or Gyeongbok Province. The participants completed measures of self-perception(SPPC) and depression(CDI). The SPPC consisted of 6 domains, self-perception(scholastic competence, social acceptance, athletic competence, physical appearance, behavioral conduct and global self-worth). The collected data were analyzed by means of MANOVA, Repeated measures MANOVA, and Multiple Regression Analysis(using SPSS PC(19.0 version). The results were as follows. (1) Among the domain specific areas of self-perception, global self worth scored the highest amongst the other subscales(scholastic competence, social acceptance, athletic competence, behavioral conduct and global self-worth) in both boys and girls. (2) Level of depression in school children differed according to sex and domain specific self-perception which was social acceptance, physical appearance, behavioral conduct and global self worth. (3) Self-perception on depression was a more salient predictor in girls than boys. Among the domain specific area of self-perception, global self worth was the best predictor in both boys and girls.

The purpose of this study is to reconceptualize the homeroom management and classroom management for secondary school teachers. The result of the study is as follows: First, the homeroom management that has been usually miss-presented as 'classroom management' in Korea is the concept comprizing the elements of homeroom management and those of teaching management together. Second is the re-conceptualization of classroom management. As the sub-concepts of classroom management, the homeroom (classroom) management and the teaching (classroom) management are also suggested. The classroom management is defined as 'the conduct or ability to accomplish the educational activities successfully'. Meanwhile, the homeroom (classroom) management is defined as 'the homeroom teacher's conduct or ability to successfully accomplish the educational activities for class students' and the teaching (classroom) management as 'the subject teacher's conduct or ability to successfully accomplish the educational activities for the class'. Therefore, the teachers are asked to have the ability for classroom management - that is, both the homeroom (classroom) management ability as the homeroom teachers and the teaching (classroom) management ability as the subject teachers. Based on the results, this study suggests some school policies such as the sharing of effective classroom management strategies through the change of teachers' culture and the improving of working environment for better concentration to the classroom management.
Background: Sex influences is important to understand behavioral manifestations in a large number of neuropsychiatric disorders. We found electrophysiological differences specifically related to the influence of sex on psychopathic traits. Methods: The resting electroencephalography (EEG) activity and low-resolution brain electromagnetic tomography (LORETA) for the EEG spectral bands were evaluated in 38 teenagers with conduct disorder (CD). The 25 male and 13 female subjects had psychopathic traits as diagnosed using the Antisocial Process Screening Device. All of the included adolescents were assessed using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR) criteria. The visually inspected EEG characteristics and the use of frequency-domain quantitative analysis techniques are described. Results: Quantitative EEG (QEEG) analysis showed that the slow-wave activities in the right frontal and left central regions were higher and the alpha-band powers in the left central and bitemporal regions were lower in the male than the female psychopathic traits group. The current source density showed increases in paralimbic areas at 2.73 Hz and decreases in the frontoparietal area at 9.37 Hz in male psychopathics relative to female psychopathics. Conclusions: These findings indicate that QEEG analysis and techniques of source localization can reveal sex differences in brain electrical activity between teenagers with CD and psychopathic traits that are not obvious in visual inspections.

Objectives: Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) is often comorbid with other psychiatric disorders in childhood. This study aimed to investigate comorbid psychiatric symptoms and associated factors in elementary school children with symptoms of ODD. Methods: The participants consisted of 205 mother-offspring pairs. Psychiatric symptoms were measured using the Diagnostic Predictive Scales and Korean Child Behavior Checklist. Psychiatric comorbid symptoms were compared between children with ODD symptom and those without ODD symptom. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to estimate the odds ratio of psychiatric symptom on ODD. Results: ODD group had a significant association with internalizing and externalizing problem (p=0.001, p<0.001, respectively). ODD group were more comorbid with anxiety disorder, depressive disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and conduct disorder. Among psychiatric disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) (adjusted odds ratio [AOR]=18.620, p<0.001) and conduct disorder (AOR=9.529, p=0.014) were associated with ODD symptom. Conclusion: These findings suggest that children with ODD symptom had significantly higher rates of comorbid psychiatric symptoms. And GAD and conduct disorder are related to ODD symptom.
