콘크리트 충전 원형 강관을 이용한 터널강지보 합성부재의 휨거동 평가 (Evaluation of the Flexural Behavior of Composite Beam with Tunnel Steel Rib Support Using Circular Concrete Filled Steel Tube)

  • 본 연구는 콘크리트 충전 강관을 터널의 강지보재로 활용하기 위한 것으로서, 콘크리트 충전강관 부재가 콘크리트 내에 매립되어 합성부재로 거동하는 경우에 대한 부재의 강도와 거동특성을 실험적으로 평가하였다. 이를 위하여 두 종류의 강관과 강관 내부를 일반콘크리트와 기포콘크리트로 충전한 경우, 콘크리트 슬래브에 철근으로 보강한 경우를 대상으로 총 6개의 보 시험체를 제작하였으며 정적 휨시험을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 일반콘크리트로 충전한 강관이 기포콘크리트로 충전한 것보다 더 높은 강도를 나타내었다. 그러나 강관 주변을 철근으로 보강한 경우 휨강도는 충전콘크리트의 종류보다 철근량의 영향이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Behaviour of lightweight aggregate concrete-filled steel tube under horizontal cyclic load

  • A horizontal cyclic test was carried out to study the seismic performance of lightweight aggregate concrete filled steel tube (LACFST). The constitutive and hysteretic model of core lightweight aggregate concrete (LAC) was proposed for finite element simulation. The stress and strain changes of the steel tube and concrete filled inside were measured in the experiment, and the failure mode, hysteresis curve, skeleton curve, and strain curve of the test specimens were obtained. The influence of axial compression ratio, diameter-thickness ratio and material strength were analysed based on finite element model. The results show that the hysteresis curve of LACFST indicated favourable ductility, energy dissipation, and seismic performance. The LACFST failed when the concrete in the bottom first crushed and the steel tube then bulged, thus axial force imposed by prestressing was proved to be feasible. The proposed constitutive model and hysteretic model of LAC under the constraint of its steel tube was reliable. The bearing capacity and ductility of the specimen increase significantly with increasing thickness of the steel tube. The bearing capacity of the member improves while the ductility and energy dissipation performance slightly decreased with the increasing strength of the steel and concrete.

Behavior of CFST columns with inner CFRP tubeunder biaxial eccentric loading

  • This paper presents the results of an experimental study on the behavior of a new type of composite FRP-concrete-steel member subjected to bi-axial eccentric loading. This new type of composite member is in the form of concrete-filled square steel tube slender columns with inner CFRP (carbon fiber-reinforced polymer) circular tube, composed of an inner CFRP tube and an outer steel tube with concrete filled in the two tubes. Tests on twenty-six specimens of high strength concrete-filled square steel tube columns with inner CFRP circular tube columns (HCFST-CFRP) were carried out. The parameters changed in the experiments include the slenderness ratio, eccentric ratio, concrete strength, steel ratio and CFRP ratio. The experimental results showed that the failure mode of HCFST-CFRP was similar to that of HCFST, and the specimens failed by local buckling because of the increase of lateral deflection. The steel tube and the CFRP worked together well before failure under bi-axial eccentric loading. Ductility of HCFST-CFRP was better than that of HCFST. The ultimate bearing capacity of test specimen was calculated with simplified formula, which agreed well with test results, and the simplified formula can be used to calculate the bearing capacity of HCFSTF within the parameters of this test.

CFT 기둥용 초고강도 충전콘크리트에 관한 연구 (A Study on High Strength Concrete of Concrete Filled Steel Tube Column)

  • CFT(Concrete Filled Steel Tube) is a structure of circular or squared of steel column filled with concrete. The steel tube holds the concrete inside and that makes this structure to perform superior features on stiffness, proof stress, transformation, fire resistance and construction itself. In this study, by over the 800kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ of high strength concrete for CFT column, research has been done on the basic property of matter such as fluidity, resistance on segregation, compressive strength, setting icons of the concrete filled in the steel tube under conditions of standard weather. Physical properties of concrete for CFT that Concrete with silica fume, fly ash of air entraining and high-range water reducing agent, that used to CFT column research purpose to find the most ideal composition, which is achieved by the investigation in the concrete's property of matter like ability of Slump, Slump Flow, Air content, Bleeding, and Settlement. For this study, experiments which are bused on obtained the result through physical test are practiced, with all of the experiment, specimens only for control are produced in each method of curing and analyzed to relations with core strength in mock-up test. In mock-up test, the research is studied compactability of concrete filled in tube and degree of hydration hysteresis, as a basic reference for applying to field of CFT column which is used over 800kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ high strength concrete.

  • This paper investigated structural behaviors of joint of concrete filled steel tube column and P.C reinforced concrete beam through a series of hysteretic behavior experiment. The results are summarised as follows: (1) The joint stiffness of concrete filled square steel tube column and P.C reinforecd beam was higher than that of concrete filled circular steel tube column and P.C reinforecd beam, and it was decreased as the increase of the number of hysteretic cycle. (2) The aspects of the hysteretic behavior in the joint was stable as the increase of the number of hysteretic cycle, and rotation resisting capacity of joint of concrete filled square steel tube column and P.C reinforced concrete beam was higher than those of the concrete filled circular steel tube column and P.C reinforced concrete beam. (3) Some restriction must be put upon the ratio of axial force in this joint model because the load carrying capacity was decreased by flexural and flexural-torsional buckling in case of the ratio of axial force 0.6. (4) The emprical formula to predict the ultimate capacity of joint model to superimpose shearing strength of steel web(H section) and bending strength of reinforced concrete beam was expected.

내부 구속 중공 CFT 기둥의 내화 성능에 대한 해석 연구 (Analytical Study on the Fire Resistance of Internally Confined Hollow CFT Column)

  • 기둥은 축하중과 지진하중에 저항하는 주부재로서 구조물에서 가장 중요한 부재중의 하나이다. 이러한 기둥은 화재 시 고온에 의해 그 성능이 저하되어 전체 구조물계에 심각한 균열을 초래할 수 있으며, 구조물의 붕괴로도 이어질 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 형식의 기둥인 내부구속 중공 콘크리트 충전강관 기둥 (ICH CFT column; Internally Confined Hollow Concrete Filled Tube column)의 내화 성능이 연구되어져 있지 않기 때문에 건축물에 적용을 하여 기준에 맞는 기둥을 만들기 위해서는 내화 성능 평가가 필요하다. 본 기둥은 콘크리트 충전 강관 기둥 (CFT column; Concrete Filled Tube column)과 같이 외부 강관에 의해 콘크리트가 구속되어 기둥의 성능을 발휘하므로, 외부 강관의 항복 여부가 전체 기둥의 강도를 결정하게 될 것이다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 화재에 의한 기둥의 온도 변화에 따른 ICH CFT 기둥의 강도를 콘크리트의 구속효과와 재료비선형성을 고려하여 해석을 수행하였고, 또한 기둥의 중공비, 외부강관의 두께, 콘크리트의 강도를 매개 변수로 선정하여 기둥의 내화 성능을 평가하였으며, 해석에는 범용 프로그램과 전용 프로그램을 병행하여 사용하였다.

Test and analysis of concrete-filled double steel and double skin tubular columns having outer stainless steel tube

  • This paper presents experimental and analytical studies of eccentrically loaded concrete-filled double steel (CFDST) and concrete-filled double skin tube (DCFST) columns having outer stainless steel tube. Eighteen CFDST and DCFST column specimens were manufactured and tested to examine the strength and load-deflection responses. In the study, the main parameters were concrete strength, load eccentricity, cross section and slenderness. The strengths, load-deflection diagrams and failure patterns of the columns were observed. In addition, the tested CFDST and DCFST columns were analyzed to attain the capacity and load versus lateral deflection responses. The obtained theoretical results were compared with the test results. A parametric study was also performed to research the effects of the ratio of eccentricity (e/Ho) slenderness ratio (L/r), Ho/to ratio, Hi/ti ratio and the concrete compressive strength on the behavior of columns. In this work, the obtained results indicated that the ductility and capacity of columns were affected by cross section, concrete strength, steel strength, loading eccentricity and slenderness.

CFT구조용 초고강도 콘크리트의 현장 적용을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on High Strength Concrete for Concrete Filled Steel Tube Column for Field Application)

  • Due to social problems such as the increasing of land price and the expanding of city, buildings require more complex and bigger components and structure. However, the complex and massive building projects need new technology to solve effect of local buckling and the needs for more space. Hence, Concrete Filled Tube Steel (CFT), the tube steel to hold concrete during pouring and curing of concrete procedure, which helps to reduce local buckling and space, was developed. Most researches on CFT might not be focused on the characteristic of concrete 'filled in tube but structural analysis. However, it is the essential factor to increase the strength of concrete on CFT for having efficient results. Therefore, this paper will describe how to apply CFT into the construction site through examining High Strength Concrete $(800kg/cm^2)$, the strength of core, and bleeding during pouring strategy.

  • TR-CFT(Transversely Reinforced Concrete Filled Steel Tube) 기둥은 CFT 기둥의 국부좌굴부위를 탄소섬유쉬트로 보강을 하여 국부좌굴을 방지하거나 지연시키는 기둥부재이다. 본 연구에서는TR-CFT 기둥의 휨내력 산정을 위한 설계식을 제안하였다. CFT 기둥의 ACI 설계식은 강관내부에 발생하는 콘크리트의 구속효과를 고려하지 않아 저평가 되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 구속효과를 고려한 콘크리트의 응력-변형률 곡선를 이용하여 CFT 기둥과 TR-CFT 기둥의 휨내력 산정식을 제안했으며 해석에 의한 예측 값들은 실험값과 잘 일치함을 확인할 수 있었다.

Bond behaviors of shape steel embedded in recycled aggregate concrete and recycled aggregate concrete filled in steel tubes

  • Thirty one push-out tests were carried out in order to investigate the bond behavior between shape steel, steel tube (named steels) and recycled aggregate concrete (RAC), including 11 steel reinforced recycled aggregate concrete (SRRAC) columns, 10 recycled aggregate concrete-filled circular steel tube (RACFCST) columns and 10 recycled aggregate concrete-filled square steel tube (RACFSST) columns. Eleven recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) replacement ratios (i.e., 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% and 100%) were considered for SRRAC specimens, while five RCA replacement ratios (i.e., 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%), concrete type and length-diameter ratio for recycled aggregate concrete-filled steel tube (RACFST) specimens were designed in this paper. Based on the test results, the influences of all variable parameters on the bond strength between steels and RAC were investigated. It was found that the load-slip curves at the loading end appeared the initial slip earlier than the curves at the free end. In addition, eight practical bond strength models were applied to make checking computations for all the specimens. The theoretical analytical model for interfacial bond shear transmission length in each type of steel-RAC composite columns was established through the mechanical derivation, which can be used to design and evaluate the performance of anchorage zones in steel-RAC composite structures.
