The watermarking is a method to achieve the copyright protection of multimedia contents. Among several media, the left documents show very peculiar properties: block/line/word patterning, clear separation between foreground and background areas. So algorithms specific to the text documents are required that meet those properties. This paper proposes a novel watermarking algorithm for the grayscale text document images. The algorithm inserts the watermark signals through the edge direction histograms. A concept of sub-image consistency is developed that the sub-images have similar shapes in terms of edge direction histograms. Using Korean, Chinese, and English document images, the concept is evaluated and proven to be valid over a wide range of document images. To insert watermark signals, the edge direction histogram is modified slightly. The experiments were performed on various document images and the algorithm was evaluated in terms of imperceptibility and robustness.

In the era of Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, it has become essential to digitize mass data, which leads 'data-driven economy'. Digitalized personal data can be easily collected, stored, duplicated and analyzed. As ICT technology is evolving the concept of traditional personal data has changed. The United States, the European Union, Japan, Korea and many countries have introduced new concept of personal data into law such as de-identification, anonymization, and pseudonymization to protect and utilize digitalized personal information. These concepts are distinguishable depending on countries. Therefore, this study will be done by researching and analyzing personal data related policies of several countries. Based on this study, this paper will suggest policy on di-identification to draw the right balance between personal data protection and use, which contributes to the development of digital economy.

This paper suggests an efficient method of protection ratio(PR) calculation and shows some results of point-to-point radio relay system for frequency coordination. The proposed PR can be expressed as a function of C/N of modulation scheme, noise-to-interference ratio(N/I), multiple interference allowance, fade margins of multi-Path and rain attenuation and net filter discrimination. And PR calculation is performed in view of fade margin, modulation scheme, distance, and interference for actual point-to-point radio relay frequency. According to results for 6.2 GHz, 64-QAM and 60 km at BER 10-6, fade margin and co-channel Protection ratio reveal 41.1dB and 74.9 dB, respectively The merit of presented method provides a systematic and easy calculation by means of PR correction factor related with various parameters and can apply the same concept to frequency coordination of millimeter wave radio relay system.

With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the paradigm of finance is also changing. As remote work becomes more active due to cloud computing and coronavirus, the work environment changes and attack techniques are becoming intelligent and advanced, companies should accept new security models to further strengthen their current security systems. Zero trust security increases security by monitoring all networks and allowing strict authentication and minimal access rights for access requesters with the core concept of doubting and not trusting everything. In addition, the use of NAC and EDR for identification subjects and data to strengthen access control of the zero trust-based security system, and strict identity authentication through MFA will be explained. Therefore, this paper introduces a zero-trust security solution that strengthens existing security systems and presents the direction and validity to be introduced in the financial sector.

The corner protection which is consist of insulation and $9\%$ nickel liner is designed to mitigate the high hoop tension at the corner of LNG storage tank by LNG leakage. So the design loads depend on thermal and liquid pressure from leaked LNG In this paper design conditions are suggested as operating, major and minor leak conditions. And in order to check integrity of comer protection for the design conditions by appendix 4 in ASME section VIII div.2, acceptability checking process that have stress categorization and finite element analysis is explained.

Digital Contents are increasing the modification of the contents by individual user and the modified or copied contents are simply distributed though the ultrahigh speed internet and the negative pervasive effect on the contents market is increasing. The solutions for copyright protection from illegally distributing contents are developing by various standardization groups and contents manufacturers and its commercia use is partly practiced. The MPEG was developing the IPMP technique to apply existed MPEG standards as a way of digital contents protection. However, as these IPMP techniques did not provide a satisfactory function for contents protection, the DMP standard was suggested as an alternative plan. In this paper, the system is designed and materialized to apply the TooIPack concept of DMP which ensure the interoperability of DRM system. With this paper, it is expected that the practical use and the possibility of the DMP standard in the DRM market would be verified and DMP standard may presents as a reference model for more systematic standardization operations.

Recently developed aircrafts use Fly-By-Wire(FBW) or Fly-By-Light(FBL) system. These systems have some merits; they can perform very complicated missions, they can expand the flight region and improve the reliability of the aircrafts. With the development of flight control systems that use FBW technique, flight envelope protection concept is introduced to guarantee reliability of the aircraft and improve the efficiency of mission achievement. In this study, flight envelope protection system is designed using a dynamic trim algorithm, a peak response estimation, and a gain scheduling technique. The performance of these methods are compared by performing numerical simulation.

This research was conducted to investigate methods to strengthen the apartment community from the territoriality point of view. In order to achieve this goal, first of all the concept and the structure of territoriality are studied through articles and literature reviews to ensure a full understanding of the community strengthening-related plan elements suggested in the previous research. The study is then divided into the categories of semi-private territory and semi-public territory to pursue analysis based on the issues related to strengthening community such as possession, proximity, defense, boundary-regulation, and personalization in case by case studies. The results of case studies are as follows: in the case of possession with psychological concept of possession, the extension of private space and exclusive space are suggested. And for the concept of proximity, that is, the physical and psychological distance for sense of the same nature, increased opportunity of meeting the residents in the same building or same area are suggested And for the psychological proximity, familiar design and facilities for meeting and exchange-related methods are shown. For the case of indirect defense in defense concept, the methods related to monitoring and supervising facilities for protection are found. For the boundary-regulations, it is based on the concepts of physical and psychological borderlines; walls either vertical or horizontal, or such obstacle-related methods are suggested for the physical borderline, and space structure and symbols-related methods are found for psychological borderline. Finally, for the case of personalization which is related to the expression of identity, design-related methods are suggested.

The concept of "original form" and the principle of "maintaining the original form" take center stage in conservation, management, and promotion of the domestic heritage. Introduced in the 20th century, there were little discussion or deliberation about the concept of "original form" therefore it remains a vague and somewhat abstract notion subject to individual interpretation. Without a specified practical meaning, "maintaining the original form" became the fundamental principle for heritage conservation and management in the 1999 version of the Cultural Heritage Protection Act, engendering difficulties in applying the principle in practice. Conceived as an important first step toward resolving the issues stemming from the indistinct concept of "original form," this paper explores the process through which the concept was introduced to Korea and then established and developed as a legal principle for heritage conservation, management, and promotion. While the examination of the related documents and various cases shows that the development of the concept of "original form" has centered on specific periods and architectural styles, this essay explicates that the notion "original form" is commonly used as a term referring to the form at the earliest possible temporality. It also explains that this view emanates from perceiving heritages not as multivalent objects, but as a material object that exclusively carries aesthetic and, more importantly, historical value, and that comes from the history awareness of the times. This essay suggests that the concept "original form" should be reestablished with full consideration of the diverse values of heritage and diverse forms through which heritage can be expressed. After reviewing the feasibility and practicality of the concept a set of concrete guidelines should be presented for application in practice.

There is often confliction between conservation for protected ecosystem assets and development for various stakeholders at wetland protection areas. The concept of Ecosystem Services can be an alternative solution for the conflicts. This paper attempted to measure and evaluate cultural ecosystem services according to the index evaluation approach. For the evaluation, the paper suggested five indicators of ecosystem cultural services including: inspiration, landscape aesthetics, education, eco-tourism, and heritage. The developed indices of cultural services in this study can be also utilized as a policy support tool for conservation of the wetland protected areas. The result illustrates the ranking and correlation of each indicator of ecosystem cultural services and suggestions for useful means of management policy in wetland protected areas.
