In this calculation of statical stability of a ship, mechanical integrator was used most popularly and the direct calculation method such as a Barn's wedge method was also adopted in some cases. Both of the above method was developed for manual calculation which include mechanical integration or drafting procedure on body plan. Therefore, the computerization of stability calculation by the above method is very difficult. In this paper a simplified method for stability calculation is suggested, with based on hydrostatic data and immerged wedged characteristics.

The development of computer-integrated design systems that fully support structural design process needs the computerization of structural design at the preliminary design stage. The objective of this paper is to develop a prototype system for preliminary design of reinforced concrete structures. This study focuses on the development of a natural design process oriented GUI(Graphic User Interface) and a representation of an experienced knowledge. The prototype system has been currently implemented using the objected-oriented programming concepts, the program language(i.e.,Visual C++) and the expert shell(i.e., Intelligent Rules Element).

In this paper, we present the application of knowledge-based system technique for generating of PLC ladder diagram The developed prototype system receives a time chart as an input and generates a ladder logic as its output This results in the computerization and intellegent processing of PLC programming. The system can be effectively applied to sequence control where the PLC programs need to be frequently changed and generated.

This study aims at proposing the basic architectural data of the medical recording department for the general hospital planning and design. This research investigated the size of working space and the chart custody space through actual survey and the present conditions of space were analyzed. In result, this study proposes the formula for the calulation of the chart custody space according to computerization level and the chart custody planning year.

신문의 자율화 시대가 왔다. 정부로부터의 규제가 풀림으로 해서 신문사는 자유 경 쟁속에서 흥하던가 아니면 망하게 되는 적자생존의 시대가 90년대 초반에 닥칠것으로 예견 된다. 산업으로서의 신문업은 신문사 경비의 대부분을 차지하고 있는 인건비라는 약체성 때 문에 본업을 보완할 필요성이 절실하다. 따라서 신문 제작의 전산화는 인건비 절약면에서 크게 기여할 수 있으리라고 본다.

서울소방재난본부를 중심으로 긴급구조통제단과 관련된 정보화 현황을 살펴보고 개선방안을 모색하여 향후 연구방향을 제시하는 것은 재난대응 역량 강화에 기여하는 계기가 될 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 긴급구조 통제단 운영업무와 관련하여 전산화 현황은 미비한 상황이므로 이를 체계적이고 합리적으로 개선하여 소방 공무원의 재난행정 업무를 경감하고 신속한 의사결정을 지원하는 정보화체계의 필요성을 제시하는 데 있다.

KEPCO, has been made a lot of efforts for computerization for distribution planning system since 1980's, And as a results, DISPLAN (Distribution PLANning System) for systematic and effective planning was developed in 2003 and is being used for feeder and substation planning of KEPCO branch office. In this paper the distribution load forecasting algorithm in DISPLAN is represented and the application was showed.

In this paper, we present an analysis of the IS-95 authentication protocol for the Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) mobile communication network. We propose a mutual authentication protocol, AP-6, to improve the security and correctness. Formal description and verification of the proposed AP-6 are also presented on the basis of the formal logic. It is shown that the proposed AP-6 is more secure and correct than the IS-95 authentication protocol.
