ICT 활용 교육 활성화에 따른 정보교과 교육과정 고찰 - 영국의 ICT 교육과정 분석을 기초로 (A Study on the Information Subject Curriculum Considering ICT Using Education - Based on the Analysis of the England's ICT Curriculum)

  • 7차 교육과정의 국민 공통 기본 교과 수업에서 정보통신기술(ICT)을 10% 이상 활용하도록 하는 등 ICT 활용 교육이 활성화되고 있다. 이러한 시각에서 볼 때, 응용 프로그램 자체의 내용 중심으로 구성되어 있는 현재의 정보교과 교육과정은 계열성과 중복성의 문제, 타 교과에서의 ICT 활용과의 연계성 결여 문제, 급속히 변화하는 세계에 학생들을 제대로 적응시키지 못하는 문제 등이 제기될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 영국의 ICT 교육과정 분석을 통하여, 학습자의 수준에 따른 구체적인 능력 중심의 목표 설정, 타 교과와의 체계적인 연결, 활동 중심의 수업 진행 등의 시사점을 도출하였다. 이제 정보교과는 도구의 기능 습득 차원에서 벗어나 급변하는 세계 속에서 능동적으로 적응할 수 있는 학습자의 구체적인 능력 계발에 초점을 맞추어야 할 것이다.

Transformation Based Walking Speed Normalization for Gait Recognition

  • Humans are able to recognize small number of people they know well by the way they walk. This ability represents basic motivation for using human gait as the means for biometric identification. Such biometric can be captured at public places from a distance without subject's collaboration, awareness or even consent. Although current approaches give encouraging results, we are still far from effective use in practical applications. In general, methods set various constraints to circumvent the influence factors like changes of view, walking speed, capture environment, clothing, footwear, object carrying, that have negative impact on recognition results. In this paper we investigate the influence of walking speed variation to different visual based gait recognition approaches and propose normalization based on geometric transformations, which mitigates its influence on recognition results. With the evaluation on MoBo gait dataset we demonstrate the benefits of using such normalization in combination with different types of gait recognition approaches.

  • 점증되고 있는 고신뢰성 제품의 설계에 있어 주어진 선형제약조건 내(內)에서 체계의 신뢰성을 최대화하는 방법을 소개하고 이를 해결하는 비선형계획법을 반복단계로 하여 Computer Programming을 하였다. 단, 본 논문에서 다루는 체계는 병렬중복구조를 갖는 직렬다단계 구조이다. 타당성 검토를 위한 예제를 해결하였으며 Computer Programming은 지면관계로 생략하였다.

  • Computer science and computing technologies are applied into mathematical, science, medical, engineering and educational applications. The models are used to solve the issues in all the domains. Educational systems are used top down, bottom up, Gap Analysis model in the educational learning system. Educational learning process integrated with Lerner, content and the methodology. The Learners and content are same in the educational system or similar courses but the teaching methodologies are differing one with another. The determinations of teaching methodologies are based on the factors related to that particular model or subject. The learning model influencing determinations are made by the surveys, analysis and observation of data to maximize the learning outcome. This paper attempted to evaluate the SNE learners cognitive using NASA Scaling.

  • Authors designed a computer-based article data management system using a 16 bit IBM personal computer and dBASE IV program and applied it to the management of article data of the Korean Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. In this system, authors developed a coding system for systemic classification of form and subject of articles and this coding system made the storage and inquiry of data easy and convenient. Using the coding system in this article management system, total 1476 sheets of articles in the Korean Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery were analyzed and briefly described according to their forms and subjects. If this article data management system including the coding system is applied to other Journals related to the department of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, we can utilize them easily and conveniently for the save of time and effort in the data inquiry or article preparation.

  • 건축, 의학, 생명공학에서 우주항공에 이르기까지 다양한 분야에서 알고리즘의 개념을 정립해야 하지만 이론만으로는 이해하는데 한계가 있다. 그래서 다양한 멀티미디어 요소를 활용하여 교육하고 있지만 흥미를 유발하기에는 많은 어려움있으며, 이로 인해 상위 단계의 교과목 수강 시 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 알고리즘 및 프로그래밍은 과목 성격상 구현원리를 이해할 수 있도록 실제로 프로그램을 실행시켜보는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 시각화 프로그램으로 순서도를 활용한 알고리즘의 기본 개념과 알고리즘 학습에 있어서 필수 요소라 할 수 있는 프로그래밍 언어의 기본인 C언어 습득을 위한 알고리즘 교육 시스템을 설계한다.

EOG를 이용한 포인팅 디바이스의 개발 (Development of the Pointing Device using EOG)

  • In this paper, a new method for controlling the pointing device using EOG(electrooculogram) signal generated from eye movement was suggested. The basic idea of the method is to control the direction of pointer, as using the results of measuring each component of the horizontal EOG and the vertical EOG by angle of eye-gaze. As a practical example, pointing device controlling the personal computer's pointer is manufactured. The designed pointing device consists of pre-amplifier, A/D converter, serial transmission device and PC program. That is, first, the EOG is amplified by pre-amplifier. Secondly, the amplified EOG is digitized and transmitted to personal computer by PIC16C74A. Finally, the software for controlling the pointer on personal computer is programed. As the result, the measured horizontal EOG and vertical EOG by eye-gaze angle had high linearity; the correlation coefficients of the regression line were 0.998 and 0.996 respectively. And the developed pointing device is able to control the personal computer's pointer, and the average of the errors between the objective value and the observed value had 3.77% for horizontal axis and 5.85% for vertical axis. The pointing device developed in this study is able to control personal computer's pointer by subject's eye movement, that is, the user's intention. Furthermore, the algorithm of this study is applicable for many field, such as a new method remote control, a new wheelchair control and so forth.

Channel Impact Factor 접목한 BPSO 기반 최적의 EEG 채널 선택 기법 (Optimal EEG Channel Selection using BPSO with Channel Impact Factor)

  • 본 논문은 brain-computer interface (BCI)를 통해 움직임 상상 시 측정된 뇌-활동전위신호(EEG)에 내포된 행동의도의 패턴을 보다 정확하게 분류하기 위한 최적 EEG 채널 선택 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 EEG 측정실험에서는 실험 설계자에 의해 대뇌 기능적 피질 분류를 이용하여 인위적으로 선별된 채널을 활용하거나 측정기기가 수용 가능한 전체 채널을 사용해왔으며, 일정 수준의 패턴분류 정확도를 얻을 수 있었지만 다수의 채널로 인해 Common Spatial Pattern (CSP) 등의 패턴특징 추출 시 overfit 및 계산 복잡도 증가의 문제가 발생되었다. 이를 극복하기 위하여 방안으로 본 논문에서는 binary particle swarm optimization (BPSO)을 기반으로 다수의 채널 중 최적 채널을 자동으로 선택하고, 각각의 채널에 대한 impact factor를 부여함으로써 중요 채널 부근의 채널들에 가중치를 부여하는 선택방법을 제안하였으며, Support Vector Machine (SVM)을 이용하여 다수의 채널을 사용 하였을 때의 정확도와 channel impact factor를 고려한 BPSO를 적용시켰을 때의 정확도를 비교, 분석하였다.

Photo Management Cloud Service Using Deep Learning

  • Today, taking photos using smartphones has become an essential element of modern people. According to these social changes, modern people need a larger storage capacity, and the number of unnecessary photos has increased. To support the storage, cloud-based photo storage services from various platforms have appeared, and many people are using the services. As the number of photos increases, it is difficult for users to find the photos they want, and it takes a lot of time to organize. In this paper, we propose a cloud-based photo management service that facilitates photo management by classifying photos and recommending unnecessary photos using deep learning. The service provides the function of tagging photos by identifying what the subject is, the function of checking for wrongly taken photos, and the function of recommending similar photos. By using the proposed service, users can easily manage photos and use storage capacity efficiently.

Design of Boat Racing Game using Buoyant Force

  • A variety of game algorithms have been proposed in recent years. Racing games using these new algorithms have greatly improved compared to those in the past. According to the analysis of racing games done by wheelgamer.com, a website that specializes in racing games, cars are the most common subject in mainstream racing games. These results show there are very few racing games using special subjects such as boats. This paper proposes a method to develop a realistic boat racing game using the Buoyont Force, beyond the limitation of typical racing games that are restricted to cars. A Material Editor based on Unreal Engine 4.12 is used to manifest the Dynamic Material of realistic ocean water. Blueprint, a visual scripting function, is used to materialize buoyancy which allows the boat to move freely along the waves.
