  • The purpose of this paper are to analyze about sleeping and eating habits of children and to propose short and long-term plans for problems. To analyze problems of sleeping and eating habits of children, we did survey for children. The oriented children of survey are students who are the third grade or sixth grade of elementary school. They are distinguished between rual and urpan area. The main of survey are the purpose of using computer, computer using time, daily sleeping time, the quality of sleeping, the cause of insufficient sleep and change of eating habits by using computer. According to result of survey, computer using time affect sleeping and eating habits in case of a part of children. Therefore, a teaching plan for computer using habits is needed in elementary school.

  • Brain computer interface(BCI) technology has been continuously developed due to the continuous development of interface technology and the promotion of brain wave research. In this paper, we propose a driving habit management system by adopting BCI to transportation. The proposed system consists of the electroencephalogram(EEG) measuring unit, the EEG analysis unit, the memory section for storing the state information of drivers, the speed controller unit and the alarming section for generating warnings. Our proposed system can reduce the drowsy driving, improve the driving habits of users and help to prevent traffic accidents.

  • This study investigates the determinants of users' continuance intention in mobile application market, and examines the structural relationships between predictors and users' continuance intention. Based on the intensive review of prior research related to Internet and mobile services, mobile application richness, brand awareness, user habit, user loyalty were selected as the predictors of users' continuance intention. Using 259 surveys, the research model was assessed and the research hypotheses were tested. The findings show that mobile application richness is positively related with brand awareness and user loyalty. Brand awareness is proven to be a key predictor of user habit and user loyalty. Futhermore, it is shown that user habit has a direct impact on user loyalty and users' continuance intention. Finally, it was proven that user loyalty is a pretty important determinant of users' continuance intention.

  • The main objective of this study was determine why employees conduct non-work related smartphone use at work. To do this, this study developed the research model of non-work related smartphone use behavior consisting of factors such as habit, intention, social effect, task interdependence, and behavior. And it was tested via a survey of employees using smartphones. The results of this study reveal, first, that habit and social influence are significant predictors of non-work related smartphone use behavior. Secondly, task interdependence has a positive moderating effect between intention and behavior in non-work related smartphone use.

  • The main objective of this paper is to investigate why university students use their smart phones in class and to develop a predictive model of smart phone use behavior that consisted of perceived benefit, perceived cost, attitude, social effect, intention, and habit. The proposed model is tested using survey data collected from 120 university student smart phone users. PLS analysis show as following: At first, intention and habit are significant predictors of smart phone use behavior in class. Secondly, perceived benefit and perceived cost as well as attitude and social effect are the factors affecting smart phone usage in class.

  • In this paper, we propose the assistance method to enable safe driving through analysis of dangerous driving behavior using real-time alarm by vehicle speed, azimuth data and smartphone. For this method, smartphone is receiving driving data from digital tachograph using communication. Safe driving habit is a very important issue to commercial vehicle because that driver's long time driving than other vehicle type driver. Existing methods are very inefficient to improve immediately dangerous driving habits during driving because proceed driving behavior analysis after the vehicle operation. We propose the new safe driving assistance method that can prevent traffic accidents by real-time and improve the driver's wrong driving habits through real-time dangerous driving behavior analysis and notification the result to the driver. We have confirmed that the method in this paper will help to improve driving habits and can be applied through the proposed method implementation and simulation experiment.

  • The purpose of the paper was to investigate students' perceptions of tablet computer-based mobile learning in a middle school. We examined the perceptions in terms of: 1) learning effectiveness, which refers to the effects of tablet computer on learning outcomes such as the grade; 2) attitude change, which is the change of students' attitudes and study habit; 3) learning activities, which refers to the kinds of learning activities using tablet computer; and 4) computer utilization, which is the ways of computer use in the study. The result showed that, in general, tablet computer affected all four types of perceptions positively.

  • Recently, the study of smart phone user habits has become a highly focused topic due to the rapid growth of the smart phone market. Indeed, sequential pattern analysis methods were efficiently used for web-based user habit mining long time ago. However, by means of simulations, it has been observed that these methods might fail for smart phone-based user habit mining. In this paper, we propose a novel approach that leads to a considerably increased performance of the traditional sequential pattern analysis methods by reasonably cutting off each chronological sequence of user logs on a device into shorter ones, which represent the sequential user activities in various periods of a day.

  • The purpose of this study is to computerize all the necessary information on the daily food value and nutritional status for individuals and groups. In this research, a FOCUS-16jXT (16 bit personal computer ) compatible with IBM-PCjXT was used, and the database files and programs were created by using the dBASEIII package. The food life evaluation system consists of 3 subsystems of Reference, Nutrition Status Assessment and Food Source. The findings are summerized a8 follows: 1. Reference: This subsystem enables users to proceed to the next step, if necessary, by describing each subsystem. 2. Nutrition Status Assessment. 1) Food Habit Assessment: This subsystem determines whether the user has a good food habit or not, based on the answers for ten questions about daily food life. 2) Obesity Assessment: This subsystem calculates Broca index, which is used as a indicator of obesity. 3) Nutrient Intakes: When personal data such as age, sex, weight, height and food consumptions are input, it is possible to calculate the followings. i) Comparison between the amounts intaked and the recommended dietary daily allowances of various nutrients ii) Nutrient intakes from each food group and their composition rates for the nutrients iii) Nutrient intakes per unit body surface area iv) Composition of lipid intake 3. Food Sources: The appropriate food sources for the lacking nutrients will be recommended to the subjects.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the information concerning dietary patterns in middle school students. The subjects of this study were 420(underweight 140, normalweight 140, overweight 140) middle school students. We investigated eating habits, life habits, food attitude. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed with the SAS program(Version 8.1). The results of investigation are summarized and concluded as follows ; The average BMI of underweight was 18.3kg/$m^2$ , normalweight was 22.2kg/$m^2$ , overweight was 26.6kg/$m^2$ . In the case of eating habit, the overweight group shows that low frequency of meal and high of skipping meal than the others group. Also in Life habit, the overweight group shows longer of watching TV and using computer. The score of food attitude was also high in over weight group. This study can´t represent the whole middle school students in Seoul. So the survey for the whole students should be followed. We can expect to offer basic data for effective nutrition education by studying.
