의사결정트리 기반의 분석을 통한 청소년의 컴퓨터 사용 유형별 관련 변수 추출 (A Study of Extraction of Variables Affecting the Adolescents' Computer Use Type with Decision Tree)

  • 본 연구에서는 청소년의 컴퓨터 사용 유형별 관련변수의 추출 알고리즘 과정을 조사하였다. 이를 위해 한국청소년 패널 조사(KYPS)의 중 2패널의 1차년도 자료(총 3409명, 남: 1704명, 여: 1705명)를 활용하여 데이터마이닝의 의사결정트리분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 오락추구는 성별, 컴퓨터 사용시간, 비행친구 수, 부모감독, 주변문제아인식, 부모공부기대, 자아통제력, 교사애착, 형제자매사이 등, 관계추구는 성별, 사이버동아리 참여, 컴퓨터 사용시간, 자기신뢰, 온라인 비행 등, 정보추구는 학업에 대한 열중, 개인공부시간, 낙관적 성향, 학기 중 공부시간과 여가시간, 본인희망교육, 사이버동아리 참여, 자기신뢰, 주변사람들비난 등의 변수들이 조합되는 다양한 조건에 따라 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과로 청소년의 컴퓨터 사용과 관련된 다양한 조건들을 심층적으로 이해하고 컴퓨터를 좀 더 효율적으로 활용할 수 있음을 제언하였다.

고등학생들의 학습목적 컴퓨터 사용과 고3의 주관적 학업성취도 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Using Computer for Learning and Subjective Achievement in High School)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between using computer for learning and subjective achievement in high school. It is also to explore the relationship among gender, school type, subjective achievement and computer use for learning. We conduct structural equational modeling analyses using Korean Child Youth Panel Study (KCYPS) data with 1st grade middle school students panel. We found these results: (a) Using computer for learning effects on the subjective achievement of 3rd grade high school students. (b) Girls more use computer for the purpose of learning than boys during high school. (c) School type has an effect on using computer for learning in high school significantly. From these results, some strategies and guides are suggested in the use of computer for learning.

청소년 생활시간의 내용과 유형에 따른 인터넷 이용 (Internet Use of Adolescents according to their Life Content and Type)

  • This study groups the life content of adolescents according to their time spent during the week and compares their internet use. The data were collected from 2210 middle and high school students, including their life content and hours, and various internet factors such as self-evaluated internet addiction, internet support, internet experience, chatting subjects and the type of internet service. Adolescents were divided into five groups: TV-oriented group, computer-oriented group, peer-oriented group, self-study group and extracurricular institution group. The purpose of internet use, internet experience, chatting subjects, negative aspects of internet and internet addiction were different by adolescents' group type. The peer-oriented group had the highest real self image as opposed to the cyber self image and trusted other's words on the internet. The TV-oriented group had the lowest trust in the internet. The computer-oriented group received the highest internet support and internet experiences, but didn't use the internet for the purpose of information search. The self-study and extra-curricular institution groups used the internet the least, used it to solve stress and were interested in school circles on the internet.

  • 본 연구는 스마트폰 과의존을 진단하고 예측하기 위하여 할 수 있는 분류분석 방법과 스마트폰 과의존 분류율에 영향을 미치는 중요변수를 규명하고자 시도되었다. 이를 위해 인공지능의 방법인 기계학습 분석 기법 중 의사결정트리, 랜덤포레스트, 서포트벡터머신의 분류율을 비교하였다. 자료는 한국정보화진흥원에서 제공한 '2018년 스마트폰 과의존 실태조사'에 응답한 25,465명의 데이터였고, R 통계패키지(ver. 3.6.2)를 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석한 결과, 3가지 분류분석 기법은 정분류율이 유사하게 나타났으며, 모델에 대한 과적합 문제가 발생되지 않았다. 3가지 분류분석 방법 중 서포트벡터머신의 분류율이 가장 높게 나타났고, 다음으로 의사결정트리 기법, 랜덤포레스트 기법 순이었다. 스마트폰 이용 유형 중 분류율에 영향을 미치는 상위 3개 변수는 생활서비스형, 정보검색형, 여가추구형이었다.

초등학생의 컴퓨터 사용행태에 따른 VDT증후군 (VDT Syndrome according to the Types of Computer Use Among Elementary Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for prevention of VDT syndrome by confirming VDT syndrome according to the type of computer use. The subjects recruited for the research were 518 students who were in the 4, 5, 6 grades from 5 schools in Seoul. The data were collected during the period from October 8 through October 18, 2004. The results were as follows; 1. The mean value of the VDT syndrome was 1.55 (SD=.52) for the 5th graders. 2. The degrees of VDT syndrome according to the characteristics of the subjects shows higher scores for the 5th and 6th graders, boys, students with more than 4 online friends, students with a low degree of school life satisfaction, and for students with parents who had a negative attitude for their children. 3. The degree of VDT syndrome according to the type of computer use showed higher scores when the students used computers for game more than for study, more than 11 hours in a week, more than 2 hours at one time, not having any rest, in dark places, with the monitor less than 40 an distance from the eyes, sitting with their legs crossed and when the keyboard was in a higher position than their elbows. The internet absorbed group showed higher scores than the unabsorbed group. 4. There was positive correlation between the hours of computer use and VDT syndrome. Also, internet addiction and VDT syndrome had positive correlation. Therefore, each home and society needs to pay consistent attention to correct computer use by their students. Especially, schools will have to educate about computer utilization and VDT syndrome.

온라인목록(Online Public Access Catalog : OPAC) 이용의 편이도에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Use of Online Public Access Catalogs)

  • The aims of automation efforts in libraries are the rationalization of interval work and improvement of user services. After a period of exclusive internal computer utilization, later voluntary contact with the computer (e.g., circulation control with self services), patrons of American libraries now have to go to a computer terminal if they want certain information. Online public access catalogs(OPAC) have been used in American libraries since the end of the seventies. But OP AC are accepted by patron only if they have a useful and flexible user interface. This paper briefly describes the use of online catalogs in different type of libraries, categories of user (user, non-user), aspect of catalog use in context with computer experience etc. The disscussion then focuses on the characteristics of the final report of online catalog use study of Council on Library Resources and user problems in searching, as reported in many other catalog use studies.

새로운 유형의 컴퓨터의 시장실패 요인에 관한 구조적 연구 : 소비자의 넷북 미수용을 중심으로 (A Structural Study on the Factors of Market Failure of New-type Computer : Focusing on the Netbook Unaccepted by Customer)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존에 존재하는 제품을 대체하고 보완하는 기능을 가진 새로운 유형의 컴퓨터가 시장에서 받아들여지지 않아 실패하는 요인을 연구하였다. 제품실패의 원인을 소비자가 제품의 가치를 부정적으로 지각하는 것에 두고, 가치 지각에 영향을 주는 요인들을 소비자가 제품을 사용하여 얻게 되는 혜택과 제품을 사용하는데 소요되는 비용으로 구분하여 영향관계를 파악하였다. 넷북을 대상으로 실증 연구한 결과 소비자가 신제품의 가치에 대해 부정적으로 지각하는 것은 사용의도에 부정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 소비자가 새로운 유형의 컴퓨터에 대해 지각하는 비용은 신제품의 가치를 부정적으로 지각하는데 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다만 소비자가 새로운 유형의 컴퓨터에 대해 혜택을 부정적으로 지각하더라도 이는 가치를 부정적으로 지각하는데 영향을 미치지 않았다.

  • Many diverse methods have been developing in the field of biometric identification as human-friendliness has been emphasized in the intelligent system's area. One of emerging method is to use human footprint. Automated footprint-based person recognition was started by Nakajima et al.'s research but they showed relatively low recognition result by low spatial resolution of pressure sensor and standing posture. In this paper, we proposed a modified Nakajima's method to use walking footprint which could give more stable toe information than standing posture. Finally, we prove the usefulness of proposed method as 91.4tt recognition rate in 11 volunteers' test.

Self-Directed Learning Evaluation Using Fuzzy Grade Sheets

  • This paper is about the use of existing evaluation methods, which evaluate learning determined by the score of an exam, which is either a multiple-choice type or single choice type question. These scores don't show the objective evaluations that cause some negative opinions about the scores. In this paper, we propose that the evaluation of the methods of self-directed learning use the triangle-type function of the fuzzy theory so that the learner can objectively evaluate their own learning ability. The proposed method classifies the result of learning into three fuzzy grades to calculate membership, and evaluate the result of an exam according to the final fuzzy grade degree as applied to the fuzzy grade sheets.

  • The present study investigated the use of a computerized program for construction of menu. The Computer used for this study was the personal computer type IBM-PC OA-16 XT. The program itself used the computer's“DBASE Ⅲ”. Preparation for computer programming: 1) Assigned special code number of menu and input data 2) Assigned special code number of recipe and input data 3) Menu construction The computerized program for the planning of menu according to user's condition was developed.
