  • IT의 급격한 발전과 함께 새로운 형태의 정보 전달 방법이 지속적으로 나타나면서 우리말의 정확한 발음에 대한 인식이 점점 약화되고 있는 추세이다. 특히 장단음의 발음은 발화에 대한 전문인들도 정확하게 구분하지 못하고 있는 심각한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 한국어 명사에서 나타나는 장단음화 현상을 주변 어휘와의 관계를 바탕으로 살펴보고 동음이의어 중 다르게 발음되는 명사의 장단음 구분을 명사와 명사의 수식어, 명사의 서술어와의 관계를 중심으로 논의한다. 분석된 결과는 결합범주문법을 이용하여 표현하고 어휘적 중의성이 해소된 음성 합성 과정을 표준화된 SSML(Speech Synthesis Markup Language)으로 기술한다.

Courseware for Factorization of Logic Expressions (논리식 인수분해를 위한 코스웨어)

  • Generally, a logic function has many factored forms. The problem of finding more compact factored form is one of the basic operations in logic synthesis. In this paper, we present a new method for factoring Boolean functions to assist in educational logic designs. Our method for factorization is to implement two-cube Boolean division with supports of an expression. The number of literals in a factored form is a good estimate of the complexity of a logic function. Our empirical evaluation shows the improvements in literal counts over previous other factorization methods.

  • The communication method between human and robot is one of the important parts for a human-robot interaction. And speech is easy and intuitive communication method for human-being. By using speech as a communication method for robot, we can use robot as familiar way. In this paper, we developed TTS for human-robot interaction. Synthesis algorithms were modified for an efficient utilization of restricted resource in robot. And synthesis database were reconstructed for an efficiency. As a result, we could reduce the computation time with slight degradation of the speech quality.

Synthesis and Experimental Implementation of DSP Based Backstepping Control of Positioning Systems

  • Novel nonlinear backstepping control with integrated adaptive control function is developed for high-performance positioning control systems. The proposed schemes are synthesized by a systematic approach and implemented based on a modern low-cost DSP controller, TMS320C32. A baseline backstepping control scheme is derived first, and is then extended to include a nonlinear adaptive control against the system parameter changes and load variations. The backstepping control utilizes Lyapunov function to guarantee the convergence of the position tracking error. The final control algorithm is a convenient in the implementation of a practical 32-bit DSP controller. The new control system can achieve superior performance over the conventional nested PI controllers, with improved position tracking, control bandwidth, and robustness against external disturbances, which is demonstrated by experimental results.

  • 본 논문에서는 응용 주문형 집적회로 (ASICs)로 구현되는 신호처리기의 비용 예측 방법을 소개한다. 비용 예측은 디자인의 초기 단계에서 다양한 설계 사양들을 비교하여 성능과 비용 면에서 최적의 설계를 찾는데 도움을 준다. 본 비용 예측 방법은 Computer-Aided Design 도구들을 이용하여 시스템 동작 표현으로부터 시작하여 시스템 분할과 상위 수준 합성을 거쳐 레지스터 전송 수춘 단계에서 비용 예측을 실행한다. 사례 연구로 SWIR focal plane으로부터 생성되는 신호를 처리하는 신호처리기의 비용 예측을 실험한다. IBM 1.0 마이크론 기술의 CMOS 표준 셀을 적용하여 실험을 한 결과 각 채널로부터 전달되는 데이터를 실행하기 위해서는 3개의 칩이 필요했다.

  • In this paper, we deals with scheduling problem for data-path synthesis in high-level synthesis. We proposed a new method to optimize interconnection cost for operator allocation. Especially, we focus to optimize for buses to transfer data channel and register to restore operation result. Also we take account ILP formulation in order to get optimal scheduling result. To verify the effectiveness of this study, we select 5th Digital Wave Filter. The experimental result show that purposed method was better then the general methods.

  • 본 논문에서는 레이싱 게임에서 도시 맵을 빠르게 생성 및 합성할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 레이싱 분류의 게임은 고정된 영역이 아닌 넓은 영역을 이동하는 특징이 있지만 이를 위한 맵을 디자인하고 개발하는 것은 많은 시간을 요구한다. 이 문제는 큰 지형 맵을 전처리 과정에서 생성함으로써 완화 시킬 수 있지만 고정적인 맵은 게임을 지루하게 만들며 그렇다고 다양한 맵을 모두 전처리 과정에서 처리하는 것은 비효율적이다. 이 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해 우리는 전처리 과정에서 지형 패턴을 만들어 실시간에 맵을 생성하고 다양한 맵을 랜덤하게 합성 할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 또한, View-dependent기법을 제안하는 프레임워크를 통합시켜 불필요한 렌더링 계산을 줄임으로써 효율성을 증대시킨다. 본 연구는 Unity 게임 엔진에서 개발했으며 레이싱 게임뿐만 아니라 다양한 콘텐츠에서 활용할 수 있다.

  • Pentacene has excellent semi-conducting characteristics. But pentacene practically used in OTFTs gives rise to problems mainly due to its sensitivity to oxygen and its very low solubility. In order to make up the problems, 6,13-disubstituted pentacene derivatives were synthesized and characterized. The properties of the compounds were characterized by FT-IR, NMR spectroscopy and UV-visible spectrophotometer. Now we are measuring the charge transport mobility and the on/off current ratios.

Design of Multivariable PID Controllers: A Comparative Study

  • The Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller is the most popular industrial controller and more than 90% process industries use this controller. During the past 50 years, numerous good tuning methods have been proposed for Single Input Single Output Systems. However, design of PI/PID controllers for multivariable processes is a challenge for the researchers. A comparative study of three PID controllers design methods has been carried-out. These methods include the DS (Direct Synthesis) method, IMC (Internal model Control) method and ETF (Effective Transfer Function) method. MIMO PID controllers are designed for a number of 2×2, 3×3 and 4×4 process models with multiple delays. The performance of the three methods has been evaluated through simulation studies in Matlab/Simulink environment. After extensive simulation studies, it is found that the Effective Transfer Function (ETF) Method produces better output responses among two methods. In this work, only decentralized methods of PID controllers have been studied and investigated.

  • The service composition based on Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA) can make us view various machines or its functionalities in the Web or Internet-of-Things environment as 'service', and efficiently create new value-added services that users want by compositing different services if there is no service to satisfy the client. The service composition problem with respect to behavioral descriptions deals with the automatic synthesis of a coordinator service that controls a set of services to reach a goal state. Despite its importance, however, solving the service composition problem with only partial observations remains to be doubly exponential in the number of variables in service descriptions, rendering any attempts to compute an exact solution for modest size impractical. Toward this challenge, in this paper, we propose novel approximation-based approaches using abstraction methods. We empirically validate that our proposals can solve realistic problems efficiently.
